The power supply is overkill at this point, but I wanted something to get me through the next 2-3 years knowing that I'd be upgrading the processor and HD relatively soon. Plus it was reasonably priced and well-rated. The video card is most definitely not overkill for Sims2, Oblivion, and gearing up for Spore. RAM either. RAM makes it go whoosh.
