Items Not Going Into Inventory

THANKS THIS IS GREAT

I think this is a known issue (I vaguely recall reading a post about it at a point when it didn't apply to me) but I've searched and searched unsuccessfully. When I click on "Make Many" (robots) or when one of my sims goes fishing, the items are not going into their inventories. Did I actually see a correction for this, and if so, where?

That'd be my post. I was looking in the wrong sim's inventory though Cheesy

Oh. Well, I'm looking into the right sim's inventory, and it's empty where it should contain two fish and a boot. More serious, another sim should have several robots in stock (the cost of the raw materials was deducted, certainly!) but nada.

This is probably a stupid question, but did this happen on an owned business lot?

On an owned business lot, all crafted items go into the owner's inventory, not the creator's inventory.

Yeah, that was why I asked croi if the lot was an owned business lot.

Residential/home business. When the robots disappeared the single occupant/business owner was skilling, working on his silver Robotics badge via Macrotastics. After leaving the lot and coming back in, the fish and boot show up in the owner's inventory...the fisherman was a townie who had just moved in--I wonder if the game just needed time to sort everyone out. That's odd, but reassuring. Still no sign of the robots though.

Macro-grind automatically sells the junk robots, which is why they are now absent.

Yay. Mystery solved and I can now freely let him skill. I was worried.
