Empty packages

THANKS THIS IS GREAT

This might be a stupid question. I just checked my downloads folder with clean installer and I had about 50 empty packages in it which I deleted right away.
Are they save to deleted and where do they come from?

Delete them - they came from corrupted downloads. I have a lot of them too (deleted already).
If you download the Sim File Maid - it won't let you install them.
