making 2 story walls

I have seen examples of both two story walls and windows but cannot find any info on how to construct a two story wall.

Any assistance much appreciated!

Well... you build a wall. Then hit pgup to go to the next storey and then build another wall on top of the fist. Voilà!

I understand that but what I want is a double height wall to give a room a 2 story ceiling.

Currently even though I have constructed rooms with no dividing floor between the 2 stories only the walls for the floor I am on show in the game and if I attempt a higher up position (in order to film), the walls for the bottom floor show up and destroy the effect of a high ceilinged room.

Use camera mode rather than the live-mode camera.

Have you turned on the option to show objects in other storey?
