I fell in love with the vampire mesh the first time I saw it. I had to make something with it! This something turned out to be a fantasy wedding dress. As I'm not particularly crazy about all-white wedding dresses, I made this dress white with pink and gold accents. Currently, I only have it on the Exchange, though I plan to get it up on BSI when possible. Here comes the bride...

That is gorgeous, although the pink panel isn't really to my taste....I really would like it all white! With the gold bits kept gold though </cheekyrequest> My daughter would love it, so I have downloaded it for formal wear

Looks nice. Although I think I would have gone with just white and gold.
I've never studied this mesh; is the necklace just an alpha or is there some 3D to it? I always thought this dress would look so much better without the pendant, but I've never played around with it myself.

The necklace has a separate mesh and its own alpha channel, so it can be removed very easily. It comes out completely invisible - like hair does.

It makes me think of a dress in a fairy tale! That's why it's a fantasy wedding dress, heheh! BTW, I often see creators say that. alpha channel removable. What does it mean? and how do you do it? Just color the white areas on the alpha channel (that's that black and white image) black. See what happens. To go a little more in-depth, the alpha channel fairly well controls what will be considered transparent on your skin-in-progress and what won't. Areas that are white will display your texture; areas that are black will display only the underlying texture (IE, the skintone). Areas that are in gray will be semi-transparent - good for a smooth look on edges or a see-through look on fabrics. Editing the alpha channels can be really helpful for changing necklines and whathaveyou.

It's very pretty! It kind of reminds me of Princess Fiona's dress from Shrek.

Neener, neener, Syera! I'm not the ONLY one who wants it in a different color! I'll gladly take it with white where the pink is--IF you don't mind! At any rate, it is a lovely dress--you know me and pink, though--kind of like you and gingham--although I LIKE pink gingham! Maybe I should say, too, it is now uploaded at BSI, as are some awesome-looking custom eyes Syera made! (The eyes are also tweaked to have proper dominance!) Syera, can I have some time to play tomorrow to try out those eyes? (She made me spend all day today writing HTML! But I made her do the dishes!)

Yay for OFB allowing us to use our OWN formal for weddings (haven't tried it yet, but I've seen it on the Official BBS like 30 times). Which is stupid, they should have let us do that a long time ago. Beautiful, by the way.

You mean we actually get to move another mod to the 'obsolete' folder? *squeals in delight* Awesome! I'm with you--never could figure why that wasn't programmed from the beginning.

Please do not post "THANKS THIS IS GREAT" messages. Make use of the new "THANKS THIS IS GREAT" button instead! I just hit this THANKS button and it took me to a Quicktime sound player and baaahhhd at me Is that supposed to happen and does Syera get a PM with the sheep.wav back at her? If so

Hehehe. Yeah, that's supposed to happen, and no Syera won't know you hit it. It's a parody of thanks buttons everywhere.

Or rather, I wouldn't have known if you hadn't mentioned it. The "Thanks" button popped up April 1st... apparently, good ol' Pescado's idea of an April Fool's gag.
