Command to change the volume of cinematics?

My cinematics are much louder than the volume of the rest of my game. Is there any way to change the movie volume?

Yes, you can change the volume of the music, ambient noise, etc. in your game options. I'm assuming cinematics fall under one of those categories you can change.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't fall under any of those categories. I've lowered the sound of all those things, but the cinimatics still blare out so loud I couldn't hear whatever I was listening to in the background. I just gave up on Cinematics because of it.

Somewhat flawed solution: Turn the volume on everything else up so it's at the same level as the cutscenes. Then:
Vista:
With the Sims 2 running, right click on the speaker icon in the system tray, and open the volume mixer. Then drag TS2's slider to the level which you want the volume at.
XP:
You'll have to turn down the volume for everything, then turn it back up once you've finished playing.

I hadn't noticed that feature in Vista. Nifty, I'll try that.
