Anyone installed it yet?  Any problems.  I have it downloading now.
102  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Freetime and Autonomous Eating on: 2008 June 17, 00:19:25
And here I am using hacks to STOP my sims from autonomously making food. I just use 'Macro../Eat' when I notice them getting hungry. To each his, own, I guess.

Well, prior to Freetime my Sims would only prepare food when they were hungry and I didn't have a problem with the cooking lobster all the time.  Once in a while they would do the turkey but hardly ever lobster.  My sims never just fixed cereal.  They always made logical decisions on food for some reason and in my families with children one of the parents would always seem to prepare a meal, so I really miss that.  Now all they do is get hungrier and hungrier and scream about it unless I send one down to prepare a meal, then they will all eat with no problem.  They will do the stuff face but never even take a leftover out of the fridge.  I have Dizzy's hacks in and they will put leftovers in but they won't take one out.

Ok, I did the search and I couldn't seem to find anything on this but ever since I installed Freetime my Sims won't fix food on their own.  They will die before they will go to the fridge to fix anything.

I even sold the fridge and got new freetime fridges thinking maybe that was the problem but to no avail.

Is there any fix for this at all anywhere, I hate that they won't fix food unless I tell them to.

Same thing happened to me.  Mortimor Goth II the son of Mortimor and Dina Caliente went off to college.  He is a romance sim.  So needless to say he got around a lot in college but then he got engaged to one of my CAS sims and they moved into a house together straight out of college.

One of the guys he got it on with in college showed up at the house and got in a fight with my CAS sim.  She kicked his butt like 4 times.  Finally I had her ask him to leave.  He came back an hour later.  She asked him to leave again.  He came right back.  Finally he left again and walked past the house constantly, then started coming back again.  I had to kill him.  He was so freaking annoying.  He wouldn't even knock.  Just walk in and she hated him so much.

It hasn't happened at any of my other houses just that one.

Yeah, they completely lack a concept of a "proportionate response", don't they? And their emotional ADHD can truly baffle. "Oh, mah GAWD, I saw a ROACH! I must sob for hours nao!" followed by, "BooHoo, I didn't go to University! I'm uneducated! Meh, bought an expensive counter instead. Uni can stuff it." Yeah, seeing a roach is exactly as traumatizing as the death of a spouse, if not more. And all it takes to get over the death of your spouse is the purchase of an armchair. Oh, but a burglar who doesn't even steal anything and is immediately apprehended? Netting the homeowner a $500 bonus, no less? Yeah, that one they'll bitch about for the rest of their lives.

I have a family that the grandmothers from both sides of the family lived with the family.  The grandson was at home when the first grandmother died and he took it very hard.  He cried for quite a while.  Then when he got really sleepy he went to bed and he dreamed of her.   When his bar was full at 4 am he got up and cried some more thinking of her.  He then went to the piano and played with thoughts of her popping up along with her tombstone.

I was so touched by this.  Then the poor thing his other grandmother passed the next day and he was again sad but not like with the first grandmother.  After 3 sim days he still cries about her.  Is this unusual?

Does it work with Freetime?
107  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: What's on YOUR Wish List? on: 2008 June 06, 19:31:33
I really wish Sims knew and reacted to what they are wearing.  I also wish Sims had their own clothing bins and that everything you purchase doesn't go into everyone elses closet.

It would be great if Sims knew they went outside naked or in their underwear.
108  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: New Objects for Download for Life Stories on: 2007 December 02, 16:32:48
I thought since she was on a laptop and only has 1 gb of memory that Lifestories would play where the full version was too top heavy for a laptop.

Am I wrong on this?
109  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: New Objects for Download for Life Stories on: 2007 December 01, 21:15:18
Well basically my friend has Lifestories, I play the full version with everything but she wanted those items so I thought I would ask to see if anyone had them for use in Lifestories.

I got her LifeStories for her laptop so she could play and I told her about the plant that eats people so she wanted it.

EDIT:  Got as in downloaded from Bittorrent

Just thought I would ask.

Thanks

Has anyone been able to download these new objects yet?  If so does anyone have them available?

Thanks
111  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Default Medieval Townies & Base Game NPC's for all. on: 2007 October 08, 23:06:02
This is exactly what I have been wanting to do but with an Egyptian themed neighborhood.  At Sapphire Sims they have all the Egyptian clothes and some ready built sims.  They also have all the furniture and housing and even a bazzar.

This is really great.

Thanks.

I do use inteen, have for a long long time, but my male teens that have been abducted never return pregnant.  Maybe its just the luck of the roll.
113  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Cyd Roseland Question on: 2007 August 28, 21:21:29
Well when I get home from work I will try to see if this happens with any other sim, if not then I will leave Cyd as a townie.

I did add the Life Stories careers and ltw_variety the other day but I don't think that is causing it.
114  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Cyd Roseland Question on: 2007 August 28, 20:57:19
I finally decided to play Cyd Roseland after seeing him visit many of my houses and he's got some pretty complicated relationships going on with a lot of the people.

I placed him in a house with his dog (which promptly destroyed the bed) and after a while I decided I would find him a job.  The house I put him in had a standard maxis computer and I sat him down and said find a job.  It started to look for a job and suddenly he jumped and was standing by the computer.  This happened like three times so I had him go get a newspaper to look and it happened again.

I had him go back to the computer to look for a job for his dog and he had no problem in doing that.

I tried Insim to find him a job and he had the jump again.

I finally got mad and used Inges cat sculpture to turn the dog into a stray and Cyd into a townie but I was wondering if anyone else had that problem?

Is there a hack that allows teen males to get pregnant when abducted by aliens?
116  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: 'Nostupidonreset'? on: 2007 August 22, 23:32:08
I've had toddlers report IQ's of 1300, as a matter of fact I constantly feed them smart milk during the time they are toddlers.  I usually fix all the bottles of smart milk then put it in the toddlers inventory and whenever hes hungry give him one.

I do have another hack from christianlove that boosts smartmilk effects so I'm not sure if that's what is doing it.  If anyone would like that hack just let me know and I will post it up.

EDIT:  Also I've found that this really high IQ holds over to childhood.
117  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Meshes, Msehes and Mshees on: 2007 August 12, 14:50:24
I have been reading and reading and I know probably this has been mentioned somewhere but I can't seem to find it.

How in SimPE do you tell which mesh the sim is using and how do you swap it out?

I have a born in game female that was fine at home taking showers but when she went to college and turned into a YA now she only has a head.

I have tried reading and finding how to fix this but I can't, so if you could refrain from poking me with sticks  Shocked and maybe help me understand how to fix her I would appreciate it.

The only thing I have ever done in Sim Surgery is change how one sim looked.  Other than that I have no idea how to change a mesh.  Any help would be appreciated.

Kate is it possible to get the other objects for Life Stories to be put in Life Stories?  My friend would really appreciate it.
119  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Can I alter my custom fridges? on: 2007 July 06, 22:14:30
Here are the extracted seasons trash compactor files for anyone who needs them.
120  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Can I alter my custom fridges? on: 2007 July 04, 00:58:24
I cloned the trash compactor but I can't seem to find the compost option.  I even have a compactor that is supposedly for seasons and I cant find the option for compost in that either.

Where would compost be located?

Thanks for your help.

Edit:  Finally found an upgraded trash compactor and extracted and replaced the code in my others.  Thanks for all the help.

123  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Flashing Neighborhood Screen In Pets on: 2007 February 22, 13:25:04
Well for anyone who may be interested I fixed the problem.

I remembered I had the camera mod installed just on the neighborhood screen.  I removed it.

Also I had that program that installs stairs, fireplaces, etc.

I removed that.

Seems to have fixed the problem.  The neighborhood screen shows just fine now and pets is working fine.

Thanks for all your help and suggestions.
124  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Flashing Neighborhood Screen In Pets on: 2007 February 13, 07:53:29
Ok since Im very NOT awesome I thought I would ask this question.

I got Pets quite a while back but did not install it.  I took my time and researched all my Hacks and got all the available ones I use for Pets.  Most of them from here.

I carefully made a backup of my current folder.

I currently have all the expansion and Glamour.

I took my download folder out of the folder and installed the Pets Expansion.  I followed that with the patch.  I then installed the downloads folder and started Pets.

I got to the screen about custom content said yes and proceeded to the Pleasantview neighborhood screen.  It loaded along with creating pets.

The neighborhood screen showed up and I exited and then reloaded.

I played one of my houses which seemed to be fine and I even created some pets and adopted one.

I then exited to the neighborhood screen.

I selected the Caliente house which I had never played before.  I noticed the red headed ones wants were not filled out.  I tried using the ffsdebugger to reroll her wants.  It rerolled but did not fill them all out.  I then tried the ffsdebugger to force and error on in-world.  Nothing happened.  I deleted the red headed caliente but she didnt reappear.

I exited the lot without saving and thats when the neighborhood screen showed up flashing off and on.  I could run my mouse over it and the labels of the houses would appear but thats all.

I then proceeded to try a number of options like exiting and reloading, removing the hacks folder, finally uninstalled pets and did a reinstall following all the procedures.

Nothing works.  The Neighborhood screen continues to show up and flashes.  I do get the control to put houses and people and I can reach house by sliding my mouse around until the label of the house shows up but its horrible.

Does anyone have any suggestions??

Thanks for your help.
125  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Unsticky Smartmilk question on: 2007 January 24, 10:51:47
When I check IQ of my toddlers or teens who have the stuck smartmilk it always tells me their IQ is 1300.

What I want to know is there a way to make them stay at this.  It seems to go away of its own accord.

Thanks.
