@Mystik -- RAWR! I'm so jealous! I was trying to do a Morrocan/Mediterranean feel in my house and I haven't gotten my M&G stuff pack yet! I love the windows and the feel of the house in general. *insert jealous emoticon here*
Thanks I just picked up M&G yesterday, I couldn't wait to get it after I saw pictures of what people were doing with the new garden stuff, now if I could only be more creative...I am still trying to get the hang of it all

quick question, are the store stuff and/or pre-order stuff allowed? sorry to ask but I noticed when I packaged a lot that some of the stuff was showing up like custom content. could also be me having issues packaging lots

I'd just like to point out that the Pleasantview house was the very first House of Fail. 111 Stratford Street would be very interesting though. I'd love to see what people do with that corridor.
oops..sorry about that, I should have double checked the posts first.. I was going to post that farm house up on the hill in Riverblossom Hill as a suggestion, but unsure of who has what EP's, I stuck to base game hoods

I like the idea of community lots, so many of them are horrible. and there are some that are base game only, I just did the 2 in Strangetown over they were total fails.. I enjoy seeing what everyone does to the lots in the makeovers 94 Road to Nowhere from this to this 88 Road to Nowhere from this to this

I really like these, great work. One question, are they both default? if so, is there a way to make them non-default so as to have more than one color servo in the game

I have the Tiki set, no problem, although I did have a crash some time back some TSR files, it was a set that had a baby door, but I have no issue with Simaddicts things. Bad download maybe? Bad PMBD file? Those happen more often then you think. I have heard of several people whose games crashed with one of Aikea's files from PMBD while mine, gotten from TSR with a sub did not.
ahh that could be it, I believe I did get it from the booty...could be a bad file from there...thanks I didn't even think of that, I have also heard of some of the files at PMBD being corrupt somehow.

I wonder if anyone has plans to salvage more of the CS furniture? Tables, chairs, couches etc. for more island realism. I gotta say I'm loving everything so far and I'll be happy with anything I can get Well, Simaddict99 at TSR has a couple of maxis match sets of the tiki furniture. Bedroom sets and nurserys. Be careful with the tiki match stuff from Simaddict99, I had the nursery and I couldn't get to it, whenever I would go into buymode and go to misc/children it would crash to the desktop...I removed the tiki nursery and everything was fine..someone else had complained of the same thing, just don't remember where..sorry

you can plan their formal outfits ahead, then when you use the arch they will auto change into whatever you have planned as their formal outfit...
Only if you have Open for Business or a later expansion pack. ahh thank you...I did not know that..

downloaded custom careers did this to me. I removed the careers and the crashing/freezing stopped.
hmm never thought about those, I think I may have a few ...I think I only have the LS ones though, but I will try removing them and see what happens thanks *edit: I tried removing the custom careers and it still didn't fix my problem oh well ...no biggie I guess

I tried turning on the testing cheats, crashed as normal...
adelegarland, I get the same message! Mine crashes before I actually get on the lot, about halfway through the loading process. I think it always crashes at the same point, so clearly something there is borked. I don't think it's custom content causing the problem with mine, cos I tried it again right after I installed Free Time, since my game was custom content free (I get paranoid with new expansions) and it still crashed. It's strange...
This is happening to me also, I can not load the Aspir family or the Monty family...both crash while loading, I tried everything I even contacted EA with all the info then they asked for more info which I gave them and they basically told me to update my graphics driver which I did and they still will not load....and I have never played either family yet...

Not everyone is as Awesome as many of the people are here. When I have encountered people with problems and they couldn't find answers elsewhere, I've suggested coming to this site to get answers. They have refused. Too many rather put up with the problem than post here for needed help. They don't want to become "targets". This is a darn good site, with problems that aren't addressed elsewhere. Information that isn't available elsewhere. I have learned a lot by reading the information here which has been a valuable help to me. Since this is the best site around, I feel badly that there are others who intentionally stay away.
I totally agree with this....I am mainly a lurker, but when I have a problem with my game this is the first place I look to see if there is a solution and most of the time I find the answer here just by a simple search....plus I am leary of hacks and mods and truly trust only the awesome ones from here ....as for becoming a target...a little courtesy goes along way, treat others as you would want to be treated and there should be no reason to be afraid of being a target. Also a big thanks to everyone for all the help I have been able to find here

Hello..I was wondering if anyone else is having issues with families in Desiderata Valley crashing on load? I can access all families except the Aspir family, everytime I try to load them it crashes on load. The only hacks I have are sshack, noadhd, and the censor one...I have never played this lot yet so there is no cc on the lot.

I've been looking through my downloads folder to update all my hacks and I noticed I still have eatmoretalkless by crammyboy installed. I guess I should take that out since it doesn't work anymore and noeatcrap (which I also have) does pretty much the same thing anyway!
Also I have lotfullofsims in my game and it was working until Freetime, although I don't think it's been updated since before BV has it? I tried to go hunting for the place I downloaded it from to see whether people were reporting that it still worked but I can't seem to find it. Does anyone know where this mod originally came from? Or can anyone tell me whether it does/doesn't work with FT?
lotfullofsims was by Jordi on mts2 if it is the one I am thinking of, it hasn't been updated in a while, but 5th LMNt did put out a similiar one called larger household on mts2 it worked with Bon Voyage not sure if it needs updating for FT though
