I prefer my sims to have a life beyond skilling. Of course my toddlers usually spend a lot of time on the skilling toys, I never buy them any other toys.

Especially the rabbit head as kids can't use the mirror to build charisma so unless the family has earned the reward objects for charisma they won't have another opertunity to skillbuild charisma till teenhood.

that has something to do with romantic rivals, I'm not actually sure how that actually works as sims don't flirt on their own unless you have ACR so whatever....
54  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: 327,670 Aspiration Points on: 2006 December 02, 18:48:44
I like British humour, but then I have strong British roots soooo....
55  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Sagesims? on: 2006 November 26, 19:58:03
Ok, does anybody know what happened to Sagesims? And if it's gone, does anybody have the files from there and want to send it to me?

My brother deleted  my My Docs/EA games folder and I lost all my downloads. I don't wanna play elders with maxis crappy clothing.
56  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: ... I should probably try to fix this, but it's actually pretty damn funny. on: 2006 November 19, 00:10:11
Romance sims really do want to get it on with everything that moves!

I don't believe the Prima Guide ever said teens could be taken by the SW.
58  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Pets and Community Lots? on: 2006 November 18, 23:34:24

Yes, that's the Leader of the Pack.
60  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: College Mathematics Class Problem on: 2006 November 18, 23:26:37
I had a glitch today when a sim had to go to class an hour before the 5 hour mark before her final. She didn't go on her own and when I sent her to class it said "go to final exam", she stayed away for 8 hours untill after her final was done. Maybe this is a related glitch?

Did anyone else think they were going to find an odd, philosophical sort of post when they clicked on the link?  Or maybe a poem?  (I thinik it's the all-caps heading that did it, and the fact that I read it as a simile rather than actual, accurate description.)

Nope, you aren't the only one. I'm glad I'm not the only one either.
62  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Would this be possible - hack for random NPC ages? on: 2006 November 18, 00:44:14
I've noticed that every time I use the Tombstone of L and D to move in a teen townie/NPC they end up with 99 days in their teen lifestage. I use SimPE to correct that problem.
63  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: My werewolves try to transform back but they stay fuzzy.. on: 2006 November 17, 04:52:26
somebody really needs to make a better werewolf texture. That one = fugly.
64  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Playable Sims as Nannies? on: 2006 November 13, 17:40:48
I've seen a toddler floor blanket somewhere, can't remember where.
65  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Is there any benefit to being a doofus? on: 2006 November 11, 16:55:16
Yeah, my cat is bloody brilliant, but we've never managed to train her to do anything specific.

Cats just don't really care what you want them to do. Only kind of training they take to on a regular basis is litterbox training.

Actually selling pee was Pescado's idea originally. heh.
67  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: The Scorched Earth Challenge on: 2006 November 09, 22:09:33
I've had one neighbourhood reduced to a BFBVFS, but that was my fault trying to fix a Greek house glitch with SimPE, i suceeded in erasing the memories of the the entire hood. So i deleted it.

I use almost all of JM, TJ and Crammyboy's fixes. Plus i'm a pretty slow player so i don't have a huge number of generations in my hoods. (furthest is 5 generations). So I've never had a natural BFBVFS.

it will happen eventually, probably in the hoodie where the whole point is to move in as many NPCs and townies as possible. And seeing as they are all ending up reproducing they are probably non-deletable.
68  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: If this is a glitch I hope it is never fixed. on: 2006 November 09, 07:34:48
I had a sim with bars stuck permagreen. I believe I moveobjects deleted him and that fixed him.

I am the anti-outrageous cheater.

although I did take advantage of the potty training glitch a few times before it was fixed, because potty training is just annoying.
69  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: no instant love more like no love EVER! on: 2006 November 08, 19:51:15
SimPE is not pets compatible yet AFAIK.
70  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: BitTorrent clients on: 2006 November 08, 18:01:54
Azureus is a popular one that has a good FAQ and wiki associated with it.
71  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: How do YOU Pleasantview? on: 2006 November 07, 22:48:25
First time round: Cassandra got Don, had 2 kids, Nina was bisexual and screwed at least 5 sims. Darren died alone, Dirk got lilith and had 2 kids, Angela married Alexander Goth, and had at least one kid. Dustin ultimately ended up in college with Meadow Thayer. Brandi got a CAS sim i made for her named Prince Charming(yeah real original). Beau hooked up with Cassandra's daughter and i can't remember what happened to the 3rd kid except that I moved the burglar in with Dustin and baby to help keep things running (Brandi left Dustin and the baby at home to move in with her boyfriend). Brandi had two more kids, one of them dated Daniel's son with kaylayn whatever. Dina ended up engaged to Goopy with a son. The Burbs had one more kid.

after i reset the hood: um...well Brandi got Ben Long moved in, Mary Sue and Daniel actually managed not to explode their relationship, Kaylayn saw Daniel kissing Mary Sue and spazzed. Nina got Don, Cassandra moved in with Darren, Dina married Mortimer and is pregnant I believe. Burbs had one more kid, plan is to have John Burb knock up Brandi.

I haven't played Pleasantview  in ages, so that's just what i remember from the last time i played.
72  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Toddlers eating pet food on: 2006 November 04, 19:56:56
I sometimes ate the dry kind of cat food when I was little. I actually liked it. I didn't eat lots of it, just a piece or two at a time.
