I had the remote control car once when I was starting a legacy back in December and didn't know it was evil. I sold it because I got tired of them wanting to use the damn thing all the time.

That's funny. Cheesy I tried to kill a townie by flies by putting rotting plates in a closed room with him, but it didn't work. I eventually got tired of torturing him and let him go. Then he saw some yummy cake over by a big plant and became an energy drink. His name was Joe Carr. >:-) In one of my neighbourhoods Joe Carr married the spare to gen 2 of my legacy challenge, we;; ONE of the spares lol, there was 4 spares (3 of them still aren't dead although 2 are elders and the other should be an elder except he and his wife had 10 kids and I used elixer to keep them young). Anyway Joe died of old age fairly recently. oh and you need to use piles of trash. They need to be able to step over the fly infested mess as that is what triggers the flies. They can't step over plates.

You know, now that they have this whole chemistry thing... is the swooning really necessary? I mean, I get that the sims of the appropriate preference think the Romance sim is hot, but here we have this nifty little system for actually identifying what a given sim actually thinks is hot. And yet they still swoon over Major Turn-Off himself, which really doesn't make any sense.
I agree, with the introduction of Chemistry the swooning over Romance sims has lost even the little grain of sense and point it had. It should be made extinct like the dinosaur it is.

Well that's good. Now, if you try to call a vampire during the day does it pop up the 'Harassment is bad, Mmkay?' message warning you first now? I've accidentally forgotten and called a few vamps during day hours and it's annoying if you aren't intending to harass them Yeah, I did that once already. Was intending to phone another sim but was going to phone the vampire later and was thinking about that so I clicked on the wrong thing, gah. So easy to mess up.

The coffin freezes needs without dropping the aspiration into the toilet, at least it does for vamps. I'm not certain if it freezes the needs for regular humans but I know they sure as hell can use the darned thing because the one house I have it in they all run to it even prefering it to the expensive university bed and I had to keep kicking their butts out. Angry Nope, it doesn't freeze the needs of regular sims. Nor do they sleep all day regardless of energy fullness as the vampires will. For regular sims the best way to deal with pregnancy is have them meditate. Of course I seldom have trouble with pregnant sims, they eat a lot and sleep a lot but I can noramlly keep them from ending up in a mess. Sometimes though some sims just seem to handle it badly.

TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Maybe this is old news but.....

If this is old news feel free to point and laugh.
Somebody I know on the BBS has moved in some 200 NPCs in a neighbourhood, and just postd a breakdown of their aspirations and zodiac signs.
No.1 - 55 family (30 aquarius, 25 cancer) No.2 - 54 popularity (45 aries, 9 leo) No.3 - 26 knowledge (15 pisces, 6 sagittarius, 5 virgo) No.4 - 21 romance (18 libra, 3 taurus) No.5 - 9 fortune (3 scorpio, 3 gemini, 3 capricorn) No.6 - 4 pleasure (2 aquarius, 1 cancer, 1 libra)
The game clearly generates a few specific zodiac signs for each aspiration. It's not quite clear with the Pleasure aspiration though, as the sample size is so small as of yet.
I just thought it was interesting and noted that almost all Romance sims are Libras! With the new "What's your sign" thing that could make it easy when I want to avoid moving in Romance sims.

really enjoy the Discworld Series by Terry Pratchet where Death has his own personna... and a horse named Binky. It makes me wish that Maxis had given us a bit more room to create with Death, give him a "Home to come home to.. " so to speak, when he isn't working. Or when he is taking a break or on a vacation... (its a temperal thing). I like the Discworld books too! And Death is awesome!

Sorry, I probably wasn't clear enough. Before Nightlife, if you went to the uni n'hood & deleted all charcters, it only deleted uni ones. If you deleted all characters in the main n'hood, it only deleted characters there, none in uni. This NL thing of dealing to all 3 places at once is new. Not in my game, I made a new neighbourhood before installing NL and because I wantd a different set of townies and NPCs then the default I deleted all the characters, after adding Academie Le Tour, and it emptied BOTH the main and the Uni neighbourhoods.
