I wish our sims received cleaning or creativity points for doing their own gardening.. but since they don't I'll stick with "perfect plants".

There is a old but still compatible Hack called "Gardening is Fun" at MTS2.  http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=36532
So if fun is enough for you get it. Even Visitors are used to Garden for Fun sometimes.  Cheesy

Genetically code skins (in SimPe) to not override Maxis skins. So if I download a set, the pale is set to be equal with Sim skin 001 the slightly tan is equal with 002 and so on and so forth. Or in some cases (as with skins with tattoos or scars, I set them to be LESS dominant that the pale skintones so I will hopefully get a skintone that is NOT tattooed or a celebrity skin on each baby).

Eyes are coded to be recessive or dominant.

Hair colors are familied and binned.

Thanks for the link.  I already have my hair familied and binned (through DatGe though, not Sim Pe) and I use default skin replacements so other than those 4, I don't have any other custom skins in my game so that's not really an issue.  I'll have to source out my eye files and fix those though.

Yeah, removing the defaults didn't change anything.  I'll just go with the contact lenses.  So what is this tricky but doable fix, Havelock?

Hmm. The only way what fixed this prob for my Sim was to export him with Simpe. Opened Bodyshop cloned him, addet a Eyecolor and saved the Clone. After that i exportet the materialdefinition of the cloned Sim. Opened the Patientsim and replaced his materialdefinition with the cloned one and renamed it to the old mmat name. But i would not recommend to do this to your sims. There is a big chance to fubar your Patient Sim. Get them nice Contacts. Its saver. Wink

I have first seen something is wrong after i got defaultreplacements. Now i have to fix it on my poor Sims. Its doable but tricky.

So why did yours go back to a Maxis default and mine didn't?  Could it be because I have default replacements in my game?  Have you tried taking out your default replacements...which I'm going to do right now...

Mine were back to maxis brown Eyes because my Skintones have the brown Eye on it. Your Default Replacements have the describet color insteed of an Eye. Thats wy yours have the strange Eyes. I got Default Eye Replacements (to clear things up)  Wink

I can't see into anyone's head, they just have the weird painted on eye color.  It's about 10 of them or so, some are adults who have already had their children and so I don't have to worry about them genetically, but about half have yet to breed and those are the ones I'm most concerned about.  There are a few NPCs who are like that, but they can be easily fixed by just replacing them with clothes with proper eyes.

Genetically code what do to what?
You could alter there Eyegenetics to Maxis default colors it should work for the Kids but not for the Parents, because the have nothing to display the actual color.

So if a Sim with no eye texture has children with a Sim with eye texture, will the children automatically get the textured Sim's eyes or will it still depend on whether the eye texture that I had removed was dominant or not?
  I am not sure what would happen. Fakt is your Sims Materialdefinition File lacks an entry for the layer who is needet to display an Eyetexture. I think Kids would get an default Eyecolour or the other custom eye if the game could find the texture.

While you removed the Custom Eyes your Sims lost there Eye Texture Layer. There is no easy way to fix this. Simsurgery would not help you . Your Sims have now no longer Eyes. The texture on the Skintones is an emergenzy Fix from Maxis to prevent you from looking in your Sims Head. They have known this would happen sometimes.

Blame Maxis for this. Same glitch here the Shadow will not follow the Chair. But i find  more anoying the glitch with the little Ironwood dresser maxis made for OFB try to put a Flowervase on the top. It works only with crafted Boukets or the cheap single Flower. It get stuck in the middle Drawer.

Thx cwykes for your post but i got an Awesome romancemod for testplay in my game so i reportet this to Mr. J.M. .
 I am happy it happened but it shouldnt on the Handy.
 
I had an Eye on her because i wantet here for him. So i made them knowing eatch other. After his Graduation Party in his new Home  she called him to go to Downtown.
 The usual invite to a Group , for new Sims in a Neighbourhood.
 At this time they got a Crush on each other with no related Memory, and no visible Chemistry.

I invited here to his Home she brought another Female Dormie with here. While i am not watching here she made something with the other dormie and crushed again.
 
Now she is crushed and in love with A.Goth, but he is only crushed on here. I have made Alexander move here in. She could Woohoo him 3 Times but it works not for him. No Love. Both have tree lighning bolts for each other. So Chemistry is fine. And she is Pregnat now

I did nothing. He is Popularity she is Romance. She crushed again. I inveted here and she brought another Female Dormie. I have no clue why but now she is crushed with the female Dormie. Relations to here are 95/15.
  I moved here in got her fit (his turn on). No Woohoo option for him no love.
But she could after the fist kiss with him. Now after fullfilling his wish to make out with here they have tree lightning bolts for each other.

 But no Love from his side. After tree time Woohoo. Typical Male. Smiley

An experimental hack in testing is currently aimed at reducing the "instant love" effect by making it harder for a single flirt to instantly cause automatic crush/love. People feeling brave can test-drive it.

I got brave and found a call to go to Downtown got my Alexander Goth crushed on the Female who called him even i sayd no. He has no lighting bolts, and  85/82 Relations to her . Cheesy He has only a memory for got best friends with her at this Time. She is a Dormie he knows .

Are your own textures like the one in your icon? I've been trying to find a not-blue vampire replacement skin.
I tried Enayla's replacement, but I wasn't looking for pure white. XD

Yes his avatar uses his "Vampire Overlay". But i am not sure if it is includet here. The above message says no.
*Latest edit: Since no one seems to care for my original download, I have removed it and left the ugly Maxian defaults.

It looks like its a Lod from the big maxis Urn. Is there an Nighbour with this Urn in his Garden ? Maybe the Lod is missplaced had this happen with a vase.Others with Gravestones or stocksigns.

Wow i wish i had only flying Floortiles. I had in one Bluewather Village Spa in a high of 5 or 6 stories hidden Awnigs so my Spa was in darkness after loading. I have wondered where the shadows came from. After exiting the Lot i got the Picture in Nighbourhood view. Surprise! Cheesy

Would be the same Clean Installer could not remove this because its contained in the Lotfile itself. I dont know if its save but you could try to clean the Lotfile while in Lotbin have it done myself. Lots were i have done this play normal with Sims moved in. But who knows for sure maybe some More Awesome Modders here.

Often a language adopts a word of associated though not always identical meaning from another language to fill a gap in its own, and maybe that's what's happened here.

Maybe or someone got a Babymesh without the Diaper to work and putted a Toddler Pajama Skin on it. Smiley

Well, if you just want to check it out, I would advise making a test neighbourhood (everyone should have one, really) and then add it to that neighbourhood.  Go in, take a look, see if you like it.  Pillage all the community buildings if you like (a lot of ready-made businesses there), plop them in the lot bin and if you decide you don't like it, either delete the test neighbourhood or just forget about it.  You can always get the buildings you moved to the lot bin to your real neighbourhood(s) if you like them.

I think lotbinning is not the best idea you get some usless unlinked data whit them. Have a look with Simpe in a lotbinned House fore sure you will find unlinked simrelations some have unlinked simDNA and at the worst unlinked Family Trees  in it. You can found this in variations even in DormTemplates we got with Uni. Maxis must have played most of the Dorms and  putted them uncleaned in the game as Templates.

A "Strampler" is the toddler sleeping outfit in game dont now how it fits a Baby.  Huh

Try to translate "Strampel Anzug" in babelfish .  Grin

I noticed in SimPE that gossip is mixed up with inventory items, so a line of green text might say "groceries gossip about...." or "colonial sofa gossip about..." - It doesn't look right.  Is that a SimPE problem rather than a game problem or feature?  don't tell me it's a cwykes BFBVFS problem please....

I only know the gossip prob are you sure you have the last Simpe ? Had the same but now the "groceries gossip about...." is gone now it says only basket groceries ore Plate , Bowl whatever there in the inventory is.

For the Fridge i tend to think they cant buy more Food as would go in the Fridge. So the get a zero Basket. Have a look at the funds of them.

If that was considered character then i'm glad it's gone. I'm sorry but male4 is my least favorite default template, it's really hard to think of one I hate more. It looks like a wooden puppet.

Not all Humans have aerodynamik Ears why Sims ? The nose was to long , i a am whit you in this.
