I have used Coconnors Savegame and repainted the Library. I saved the Walls and Floors used on the Lot from a fresh created Hood into CaSt, and repainted the Library. The Lot is fixed with doing so.
It looks like the Lots are corrupted and have lost the information what Floor- and Wallcovers are used. You have to replace all tiles on the whole Lot not only the riddler tiles.

7) The Art Gallery has terrain under the foundations which is covered by floor tiles but after deleting the tiles a flat grey surface is left which cannot be modified or deleted
Cool The Wolff house has no floor tiles below the foundations as the terrain is already covered by the same flat grey surface found under tiles at the Gallery
9) The Goth house does not seem to have this problem as there is only clean terrain below the foundations, but if you apply floor tiles and then delete them the same flat grey area appears
10) Although only some of the terrain below the Gallery appears to be affected applying floor tiles and then deleting them shows that, as with the Goth and Wolff houses, all terrain underneath a foundation is the same
11) All 3 lots reported as having Riddler Wall infestation also have Grey Terrain blight
12) The Grey terrain problem is linked to the house and not the lot, replace the house on any of these lots and the problem disappears, if the Grey terrain problem has gone so, I assume, will the Riddler tile problem have been cured
13) Grey terrain cannot be deleted even using the sledge hammer tool nor can it be modified using the terrain tool, it can be covered up but not eliminated

Its not a Terrain this are Floortiles.
And you could delete them but you have to remove the foundation first. If Floortiles are covered with a foundation you could only remove the Pattern but not the tile. You get the default Pattern on them.


14) One other possible symptom of Riddler tile infestation I have seen is that ghosts lose their colouring and glow more brightly, their thumbnails assume an appearance like that of a photo negative (black face & white hair etc:)

The have no missing colors, the simdata file is corrupted and the real skintone the Gostsim had while he was alive gets inverted causing with the Gost overlay this photo negative effect . You could see this if you use the editsim command on the Gost.

I think no, only Furniture or Rugs in front of Fireplaces. But Sims could make Fireplaces Fireproof at Level 6 of Handyness.

Someone requested it here and i was disappointed also by EA Stupidity so i looked if i could fix it. It worked.



I have left the Package name as is so you should have the ability to replace the file in your Mods/Packages folder.

Even following the latest AM build, all my NPC school kids are failing, even though they are also all doing their homework now. Only the family I am managing at the time are able to maintain school performance, so I've getting a lot of insane/evil/clumsy sims appearing. Is this a known issue? Have I implemented something wrong?

I have the same happen NPC Kids dont get the Shoolbus there is only one for my playable Sims, but the other Kids stay at home in low level mode. The Parents go to Work and skill if needed but Kids do nothing exept Homework if its not finished at this point.

The space in the config is for you to enter a key or String ID. Whatever you enter will be the "prefix" that AM will use to load the names. For instance if you enter a generator key like "MyNames" in the MaleNameGeneratorKey box in the config the game will use the names with a key of "MyNames/MaleName:Name#" in the STBL (hashed, of course).
That is correct. The male/female/lastname "keys" may all be the same, or they may all be different, if you happen to be using, at any given time, sets constructed seperately or from different sources. The "default" EA set is "Gameplay/SimNames" for all 3, so those would be using "Gameplay/SimNames/MaleName:Name#", "Gameplay/SimNames/FemaleName:Name#", etc. You can build a namelist using any of the available STBL builders, or I will, at some point when I get around to it, create a simple crappy DOS utility to convert a simple NOTEPAD list into a nametable.

I am also curious about how to enter the name files in the Auto Config. I made my own replacements, but am not entirely sure how to add them in to AwesomeMod. In other words, I do not understand what the Auto Config is asking for.
The AutoConfig is simply asking you to input the core names. If you overrode and replaced the original EA STBL to generate yours, then this method is useless to you. But if you created a new STBL of, say, "EdibleNames/MaleName:Name#", "EdibleNames/FemaleName:Name#", then you would fill in "EdibleNames" (case insensitive) into the entry.

Also, I have all 3 (male/female/last names) combined into one STBL so I was wondering if I needed to change that. If anyone could help, that would be great. Thanks!
Nope, not a problem. The actual distribution of the STBLs is transparent to the engine, so it doesn't matter whether you made each individual name its own STBL, jammed them into the same STBL, or are even using some really WEIRD thing. In fact, the default value of "Gameplay/SimNames" for the standard EAxian names already is in a single STBL.

The BabyBounceChair is missing a file to let the soundmanger find the sounds for him. I have attached the needed file, extract from soundfix for BabyBounceChair.package and import into BabyBounceChair.package. Save after that. Now the chair has his sounds. And thanx to mistyk for sharing the baby items  with us.

No you are correct some floors get replaced with the bundled stuff. There is also a dark green ceramic tile who gets replaced with a similar dirty one.

the ArtNouvau Windows/Doors musst be loaded after AsianFusion Windows/Doors. Make a Subfolders for objects from each Store Collection:
For Example: 1_Store_Deko_Cubic, 2_Store_Spooky, 3_Store_Castle, 4_Store_Asian, 5_Store_ArtNeouvau. There are the Lights Files in Store Objects. Each NLO file overridge file from elder objects.They have the same Instanznumber. The windows/ doors from ArtNouvaucollection have a lightdefinition for Asian- and other storewindows, but asianwindows have not lightdefinitions for Artnouvauwindows.



Telraven & Lievemax...I was having the same problem with the windows & doors!  I changed up the folders as per Heli's advice and I can also confirm that all Store object windows/doors do let light thru!  (Deco/Cubic, Spooky, Castle, Asian Fusion, and Art Nouveaulicious).






For all who have probs with the doors and windows put the attached NLO file in you Downloads folder and all doors, windows and lights from all sets should have proper light.

Open the Door_2Tile_ArtNouveauEP99package file. Search for the OBJ  Door - 2 Tile - ArtNouveauEP99 - 1, 0 and change the 0x0001: version_1Read Only from 0x008d to 0x008b

Thanks for finding the item rednotdead. Here is the decostumized bench.

Fixes:
  • Removed duplicate files.
  • Fixed price, depreciation.
  • Updated to Pets.
  • Compressed with The Compressorizer!.
  • Has its own Group Number.
  • Changed category, find it under "Seating > Miscellaneous".

Get the other two items here (Gnome) and here (Planter).

Edit:
I just checked the bench in-game, it displays wrong shadows. Unfortunately I'm useless with shadows. Hopefully Lord Darcy or Havelock'll find a fix to these, please?.

Used Richiefs File and made additional fixes. Bench has now correct indoorshadows and all three recolors like the other parts of the Set.

Like some of the M&G Windows and Doors the Asian Fusion Window has no entry in the NLO for the light.
As for the Rug the LS Rug was not broken, but the M&G Rug is broken beyond repair only EAaxis could fix it.

Lord Darcy thanks for the extra slots on the latest Store set, would you be so kind to fix slots on the Dresser_Small_ModernAsian and Dresser_Medium_ModernAsian from the Asian Fusion set? The small dresser has a broken deco slot (unable to place anything on top but CRES has a slot entry)  and the medium dressers slots are to high, objects float above the surface.

NOTE - all of the clothing files originally were catagorized as both everyday and formal.  I removed the formal catagory from the
funkyuniform files and removed the everyday catagory from the bonddress and fancymodern files.  I'm sure anyone who want the original catagories restored can do this easily with Sim PE or Wardrobe Wrangler.
