I've made a simple female adult replacement of the EAxis skins with nipples and pubes. The bits n bobs come from HystericalParoxysm's skins, the rest is plain old EAxis.

Comments and suggestions always welcome.

I just use Indiemod cause there's no alternative right now. I'm quite sure when awesomemod includes storymod, many will follow me in switching to that instead.

I'd love to know the RGB codes for that lipstick, by the way.

She comes packaged with that lipstick, I just left it on. You can just DL her if you want it and save it as a custom colour.

I think I'm one of the very few people that actually like the new slider system. You can do a lot with it when you figure out which slider does exactly what and how you can make em work together.

I've had a male Carmen turn up in my game yesterday. Needless to say, he was gassed quicker than you could blink.

She's actually fairly easy to fix.

- Make face considerably less wide, but broaden jaw. Make jaw more defined.
- Fuller cheeks + define shape more
- Fix inner eye corner, rotate eyes slightly and bring up the eyelid height so she doesn't look permanently drugged
- Slightly reduce angle of nose bridge

And tadah:

It won't change the LTW, but it might fix the 'still stuck as neurotic' thing he/she/it has going on. Stress is on 'might' though.
32  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Indie Stone Now with added Awesomeness on: 2009 July 22, 20:06:25
I think there's a warning in Awesomemod against using editsim to change traits and such. If you shift-click the sim, you get the option to change their traits. Try doing it that way?

It also creates new families to keep the neighbourhood populated, according to the same rules for existing families. One interesting feature is that you can set it so that new townies are created using DNA from Sims in the Library.

I can't find this anywhere in the menu. Under what overhead option can I find this?

Aha. Being slow, I could've thought that one up myself -_-

How do you only use one of them?

My avatar is just a warped 3d display of insanity. I'm always pleased to know when I've grossed out someone enough to have the image banned or blocked.

Aikea Guinea has made a tutorial on how to make your own default replacement skins. My photoshop won't play nice with the Nvidia DSS plugins, but maybe useful if someone else wants to just add the bits and bobs to the EAxis skintones.

Tutorial Here

I haven't really come across a single one that I like. Aikea's have this annoying effect where everyone, regardless of bodyweight, has these gouged-out clavicules. Do not want.

I think they just simply do not give a crap. The franchise is huge, as long as they keep churning out something new every so often, people will buy it. Also, less time on development means less costs, and the sooner your product hits the shelves, the sooner you start making a profit.
41  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomod discussion/questions/helpful tips thread on: 2009 July 16, 08:12:17
I had musical houses from day one.

Don't forget though that you can make a house ancestral (just add the name of the household anywhere in the house name) and the household will stay put. If you want your famblies to stay in one place, that's the way to go.

I don't mind them moving at all, but making the moving a bit less ADD would be great. Some famblies in my hood hop around every single night :p
42  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Sim jumps out of work on: 2009 July 15, 08:30:28
Yes I am, actually, and the problem did start showing up only after I took over the ownership. Don't know if that has anything to do with it, what's other people's experience on this?

If that's throwing the conflict it would suck immensely, I want my 5 star celebrity chef to own her own restaurant, dagnabbit.

Update:

Transferred the sim to Hogan's Deep Fried Diner (retaining her position and everything). She had the exact same problem there, jumping out of the building as soon as she got inside to start work. Transferred her back to the Bistro, same thing there.

No, seriously, I recognized the bunny avatar and was stumped beyond that. No malice intended.

No offence taken. As I said, I've been here for a long time, but I wander in and out a lot. I have the tendency to play in bursts, then do something else for a while, and my activity at MATY reflects that.

Also Pes, I'd have thought she looks stupid and pink enough, but I suppose I can have a look for floppy bunny ears  Tongue

@ Snowbawl: why did you think I give myself the Loner trait?  Wink

Out of curiosity, do Sunset Valley and Riverview use the same rabbithole for the nice bistro? I don't have Riverview installed in my game.
45  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Sim jumps out of work on: 2009 July 14, 22:11:44
I did so once, yes. I seem to remember I retained my position, will give it a whirl tomorrow.

Culinary career as well, the bistro in Sunset Valley. She's at max level though, and I have the most current version of Awesomemod installed. I'll try transferring her away and back again to see if that helps, cheers for the idea.

48  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Sim jumps out of work on: 2009 July 14, 20:12:45
One of my sims has problems with going to work. She can get there fine, gets inside, then immediately 'jumps' to the outside of work. The game records her as missing work, causing her performance to plummet as she cannot actually get to work. I've tried repeatedly to send her back, but she keeps jumping outside again right after she's gone inside. This has been going on for several days now, and I fear she might get fired soon.

Any ideas?

50  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Sims finding new routes for walking stand still for hours. on: 2009 July 13, 22:15:09
Odd. My sims always neatly manouvre around eachother when posed with space problems. There's a bit of 'after you, no, after you' going on at first, but they resolve it pretty fast in my game.
