If you get bored, I think we need a banana hammock for the guys, just to keep it equal.

Seconded. My bananas are going crazy over here.

I hadn't noticed. I think the inventory interface is pretty cool (<3 Hand of Godness), but expanding it would be nice.

What drag option do you mean? I drag things every day. I'm a drag queen.

Ba-dum-ching.

This is the most depressing thread ever. I miss everything everyone has mentioned, and am now in a state of infinite sadness. Or something.

I want more paintings and I want them shiftable dammit!! I don't understand why bastard EA would refuse to let paintings be shiftable in the basegame. That's just assholery right there.

For the sake of being clear: I just updated from RELOADED to retail, just backing up the entire "Electronic Arts" folder in My Docs and everything is currently dandy. Sims, lots, pattern recolors and CC are all fine.
31  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Where are important files saved? on: 2009 June 05, 05:43:45
Could Library be for custom recolored patterns? I have a couple of files in there, but my Sims haven't written any books. I'm looking for where the recolors I saved with style editor are to back those up, but am not seeing them. It's likely I'm just retarded, but if anyone knows what I need to back up for those please share the info.

Thanks!  I hoarding CS stuff.  :}
33  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Help with Regedit Name Change Issue on: 2007 June 29, 22:05:46
The addition of that last patch suggested fixed the problem.  THANK YOU!

I edited using Seasons SimPE and my game wouldn't load after that.  I just got a blank error message.  Had to revert to my backup.

I'll try that patch when I get up in the morning, Jordi.  Thanks.  Smiley
35  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Help with Regedit Name Change Issue on: 2007 June 27, 07:08:46
I did save when their names were borked, but it wasn't a lot that had any Sims on it; I was building a community lot at the time, and didn't notice until I played a residential lot a couple of days later.  In SimPE's SimBrowser they all have their proper names.  I can't edit anything in SimPE though because it's not compatible with H&M yet.

Part of the problem is that I don't know what pack did it.  I installed all of the Stuff Packs at once (excluding Glamor).  But if the patch doesn't apply to H&M, that may be it.

However, none of the folders have a "Language" entry.  I've checked the folders for the game and every expansion, and there's a sub-folder in each called "ergc" with an entry just named "(Default) that doesn't appear to have any language-like values.
36  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Help with Regedit Name Change Issue on: 2007 June 26, 22:10:58
These solutions do not appear to have fixed the problem.  Or should I not expect my Sims' names to just revert back once the patch is applied?
37  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Help with Regedit Name Change Issue on: 2007 June 25, 01:45:49
So I'm having that issue where all the Sims' names are changed in-game for some damn whatever reason.  I read that I can fix this through editing my registry.  I followed these instructions here, but when I get to The Sims 2 folder I don't see any Language entry to right-click on.

Please tell me why I'm retarded and how to un-retard myself.

Someone just posted a new one on MTS2.
39  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: ObjectError in CAS on: 2006 November 11, 05:53:22
Damn the world!

EDIT:  Oo, it seems to be working again when I put my old massive folder of CC back into the game.  Must be something in there that's connected to something in the other folders...  Weird.

But, yay, no re-install!
40  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: ObjectError in CAS on: 2006 November 11, 05:10:52
I'll wait for that then 'cause it's doing it with no CC, but I haven't made any modifications to anything for a long time, and it was working last I played.
41  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: ObjectError in CAS on: 2006 November 11, 05:07:46
Argh, I hate doing that.  But I guess if that's the best option I have... *weep*

EDIT:  Oo, ouch... The error still happens with no CC.  That's bad news.
42  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: ObjectError in CAS on: 2006 November 11, 05:04:00
Yeah, I checked with a clean installer.  I'll try removing all CC right now.
43  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / ObjectError in CAS on: 2006 November 11, 04:44:54
Everytime I make one new sim in CAS, then go to make another this object error comes up and things get all sad and then if I do anything else the game crashes.

All I have installed right now is content from PMBD 'cause I was sorting through it.  I have Uni, NL, and OFB, but not pets.  I noticed Peggy's newest hair is having that evil Pet's error, but I hope that's not the problem 'cause it's pretty.  Shocked

I've got no hacks installed.

Someone tell me what to do because I am retarded when it comes to this stuff.  ErrorLog attached.

Azureus is good.  I use BitComet but it's probably not the best choice for beginners.
