51  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Did I see this? on: 2006 October 19, 21:04:52
I haven't seen it but the Prima guide mentions it several times.

Got to admit, they are good at sneaking that stuff in.

Just wondering since the cat made the puddle
52  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Did I see this? on: 2006 October 19, 21:00:58
Can cats (or any other pet) drink from puddles? Or was it just an animation that looked  like it?

I want to be sure...
53  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Pets Now installed. Running, Barking, and pissing. on: 2006 October 18, 01:36:39
The important question is: "What have they got for the sim families that don't want a pet?" Anything significant? I don't mean variants of existing items, such as yet another table or bed - I mean genuinely new types of things.

Its got enough to occupy a torrent slot for the next 90 minutes.

Don't forget to add Sims 2 to your blocked list on your firewall! Say MMMMMMMM to spyware.

Yeah you can run a whorehouse.

I have had a house of ill repute for two years now.

Nightlife made it profitable with gifts for "dates".

Business just added a constant charge sstem.

Don't worry about sims gettign upset from being caught fucking around, their little emptions are trivial. Or get the hack that only lets jelousy if you are in the same room.
55  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Ok Glamour is installed. Anyone have questions? on: 2006 August 29, 20:50:02
Did you pay for it? Or did you find a treasure map with a great big X? Grin

Well I pay for cable internet, so whatever 2 hours of that cost me was what I paid.

56  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Ok Glamour is installed. Anyone have questions? on: 2006 August 29, 20:08:46
As all the other stuff packs. Worth every penny I paid for it.

57  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: New Patches for OFB and FFS on: 2006 June 15, 21:41:27
"Family Fun Stuff clothing assets will no longer disappear"—What is the second one?

For all intents and purposes, FFS *is* OFB with the business part ripped out/disabled unless OFB is also installed.

Bag of Poo will no longer break after installing The Sims 2 Family Fun Stuff

Would be the second one.

A stretch I know, but still. Smiley
58  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: New Patches for OFB and FFS on: 2006 June 15, 21:34:26
Is it me, or does the FFS patch only have 2 FFS related things in it?
59  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: My sims must be doing it wrong... on: 2006 June 11, 05:46:12
I've never noticed any significant increases in fun for any of the sex related actions. Makeing out is a tedious chore in TS2.
60  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Sweet Mother Gaia: RAM is Good... on: 2006 June 11, 04:57:37
I can't wait until the 64 bit systems become common and the next windows version is out (and patched a few times).

I needs me 8 gigs of ram.

The Vista public beta has been available for a couple days, in both 32- and 64-bit versions. It won't be available indefinitely though, so if you want it you'd better download it now. You need to register in order to get a product key; it's a 3.2 GB ISO file you burn to a DVD. Registration also puts you on the notification list for Release Candidate 1 when it becomes available. The beta (Beta 2) expires 01 June 2007.

Of course, I don't have a PC I can load it onto at this point in time (need to get me a lottery ticket!).

Will change my settings to 20/50 and see how it goes tonight.

I would rather wait until it is full release and patched a few times. SO many problems with games on it still.
61  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Can't I build any dorm in a uni neighbourhood ? on: 2006 June 10, 10:41:01
The best dorms have one or two big nice rooms, depending on how many playable sims, and a bunch of tiny rooms, like 4 squares for the NPCs. They don't need beds etc.

Plus if you make it right, you can put bathroom access only through the playable sim's room. Dormies are much more fun if they pass out an piss themselves all the time. Makes it like real life.

63  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Is FFS worth every penny? on: 2006 June 09, 09:40:02
It is worth every penny I spent on it.
That must mean it's an improvement over the Holiday pack, which I doubt, which I got for the same price, and it DEFINITELY WASN'T WORTH IT.

Nope, its just as shitty as the holiday pack. Worth every penny I SPENT on it.
64  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Is FFS worth every penny? on: 2006 June 09, 05:08:58

65  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Should I buy OFB? on: 2006 June 09, 05:07:21
Well I wanted to have a trifecta of bad things.

Murder- Bad
Necrophiliac rape - Bad
Stealing stuff- Bad.

But stealing stuff wasn't quite up there. Then I realized that I could make it bad by downloading shitty music!
66  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Should I buy OFB? on: 2006 June 09, 02:10:34
Point taken. But I didn't see anyone admitting to anything.

I killed my neighboor. Then I raped them. I then used their interweb connection to steal Metallica albums!!!

67  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Should I buy OFB? on: 2006 June 08, 00:19:26
*COUCH COUGH HACK TORRENT HACK*****

Excuse me. Something in my throat.
68  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Best Nvidia Driver for OFB? Anybody know? on: 2006 April 21, 19:57:16

Ok, our systems are not too different. I've got P4 2.6ghz and more gb in my hard drive.  I am currently using 81.98 with no problems.  I

I have found the 81.98 to be the most stable of the 70 and 80 series for the widest variety of games. Don't know what Nvidia fucked up in all the other ones but, take oblivion for example, try to play it on a 6800 with any other driver, including the beta driver that is made for oblivion (yeah I know its beta), and you get all kinds of problems. But the 81.98, other than the memory leak the game has I get no problems.

For TS2 the 77.77 or 81.98 seem to be the best. I haven't tried the newest release or beta release with TS2 though, and considering how shitty they ran other games, I won't be for a long time.
69  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Good reason for *not* getting FFS (Family Fun Stuff) on: 2006 April 21, 19:50:03
Heh, that is one of the best trolls I have seen in a long time. Make a complaint and fabricate a 3 day medical crisis for sympathy.

The reason they moved the reqs up is to force people to upgrade now, so they won't have to upgrade when the next EP comes out and further bloats the system.
70  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: A RUMOUR about the next expansion pack on: 2006 April 06, 16:54:53
And honestly, if they DO make pets, they HAVE to add the breeding option in, I mean... the sims can die, so the pets should be able to die too. And if they can die, then they can breed too. That was my biggest complaint was the fact that they stayed puppies FOREVER. Hopefully, they will do the pet show thing too, and make it a lil like Nintendogs. I would consider that "pets done right."

Uhm... anyways, what would you all consider "Pets done right"?

Put that phrase in google with safesearch turned off and I  am sure you will see what maxis is planning.

Mark my words, there will be something new for your sims to rub their virtual genitals on in the expansion, and it will likely be something that bizarre fetish internet sites exist for! They have a track record.

Someone mentioned were-wolves with a pets expansion? That sounds like a very likely way maxis will sneak beastiality into the game.

I am contacting my congressman and Jack Thompson!!!

71  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: A RUMOUR about the next expansion pack on: 2006 April 06, 10:28:11

If pets is just going to be a feature of the ep, though, I wonder what the ep theme will be.

So far you ahve been able to screw all the new things in the game. Aliens, corpses, different types of corpses that don't like the sun, robots...

It also has to make all the sheep happy.

It will be a combo vacation/pet expansion!!!

Here is a clip from the advert soon to be released.

TS2 TRIP TO WALES!!!

72  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Everyone in my 'hood will be wearing the hat! on: 2006 April 03, 03:27:58
God damn maxis Furries.
73  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Family Fun pack at *GRASPS* $20.00! on: 2006 April 03, 03:26:00
12 US, that is not that bad.

Thats 12 pounds, not 12 US Dollars.

10 Pounds + 1.5 is the same as 22.17 USD. The American dollar is weak.
74  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Maxis violation of Servo's civil rights on: 2006 March 30, 23:13:44
Yep, Maxis treats servos like little riggers.

May as well name your servo Chicken-George.

Come the revolution...
75  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Who's got some good names for Servos? on: 2006 March 29, 23:11:32
Servo can kill Sims when he goes on a rampage, so nerr.

Yeah, "Crazy" bot that need to be put down.

They should be able to kill and maim based on logic.
