Not that there's anything inherently wrong with incest: without it the royal families of the world wouldn't exist (nor half the American south :-p )
Why did you prove the first half of what you said wrong with the second half of what you said?

So sorry, sanmonroe. if you'd like, I can make something up... Thanks, Jordi. I guess with every EP they'll organize the townies differently. No, there is just something wrong about requesting sims incest fanfiction. I will not ask for that. And my guide to incest on the BBS just vanished.

The only problem is, when you have a family of four sitting down for a meal together, it shouldn't take 4-5 hours for everyone to get full! They talk so friggin much that the hunger motive goes down only slightly less than it goes up. It's so annoying that I've had to start staggering my sims so each one eats alone.
Just pretend they are Italian.

Tom, talking of offence, were you aware that the Elder Females do a fair bit of quite offensive swearing? I am not sure if maybe those words are not considered bad in America (bugger and wankers). I have been in real trouble for saying damn on American sites, while here in the UK it's considered fairly mild.
How can you complain when an old lady named "Fannie" is calling other Sims "wankers" and saying "bugger"? Or How can you complain when an old lady named "Cunt" is calling other sims masterbatingfucktards(best I could translate to) and saying "Ass fuck"? Now THAT is FUNNY!

I am a member of EB games, and receive each month a newsletter. This month the "best sellesrs", according EB games are: Ultima: The Eighth Age (PC) Civilization IV (PC) EverQuest: Darkhollow (PC) F.E.A.R. Director's Ed. DVD (PC) City of Villains (PC) EQII: Desert of Flames (PC) Black & White 2 (PC) Ninja Gaiden: Black (XBX) We Love Katamari (PS2) Warhammer 40K: Winter (PC) Age of Empires III (PC) Pokémon XD (GCN) X-Men Legends II (XBX) Nintendogs: Dachshund (DS) MK: Shaolin Monks (XBX) Sims 2: Nightlife (PC) Madden NFL 06 (PSP) Fable: The Lost Chapters (PC) MK: Shaolin Monks (PS2) X-Men Legends II (PS2) A Sim game in 16th place??? It's a disaster... . Perhaps this will teach them to increase the quality of their games... Several of those games are not released yet and are just available for the 5$ or no charge preorder. So that list really isn't what was sold. Besides, there is no way an EQ expansion outsold a sims EP. EQ1 had 500lk players at its peak, and including Station players is estimated to have around 300k now. They cannot touch TS2 sales. The only MMO that can is WoW.

What exactly is busting a move? Do humans do it, or is it like the smustle, something thought up for Sims to do?
Teenagers and young adults that are emotionaly stunted and mildly retarded "bust a move". Sadly, it is a real thing.

Yeah, I rather suspect he's full of shit, but it's his schtick and keeps up his rather odd loner people hating, paranoid persona.
Annoying as hell for us that have to put up with the damned phone ringing and temper tantrums and what's this etc etc though. Makes one wonder, did the people at Maxis PLAY this game? Because there's a lot of feature that universally irritate the hell out of people. I've yet to hear of one person who likes how the phone works or that the sims all run to say what's this when you buy a friggin lightbulb. At least they finally got a clue and got rid of that obnoxious child A+ cheering.
Well the way he described the delivery process, it kind of screams "Us armed forces in the mid east" to me. So if he is a tech/support stationed in Afghan/Turkey/Iraq etc, he may need to wait 2 months.

The old drivers made a difference for me, it isn't as clean as preNL, but the neighboorhood I am playing is is pretty big and complex, it is at least playable.
My suggestion for you, do a complete clean boot and see if anything else is conflicting.
Assuming you aren't an evil mac user,
1. Click Start, and then click Run. 2. In the Open box, type msconfig, and then click OK. 3. On the General tab, click Selective Startup. 4. Under Selective Startup, click to clear the following check boxes: • Process SYSTEM.INI File • Process WIN.INI File • Load Startup Items 5. On the Services tab, click to select the Hide All Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable All. 6. Click OK, and then click Restart.
Then everything should be off other than MS vitals. CRTL-ALT-DEL and check to make sure, if you have a few things running check them out, it may be viruses/malware.
Then load the game. If it runs well then you are getting some conflict with anopther program.
If it doesn't work, you have something wrong with the card, driver, etc.

I am having the same problem with both a 6800 and 7800 with the newest and the beta drivers. I am not crashing though. The game is also telling me that default/recommended graphics levels are all med or below!!! Major hit to performance since NL installation. Done everything froma clean boot to checking out Hijack this and doing FPS tests on other games.
Will try the 71 drivers. If the new build and the beta build screw up TS2 I am going to be pissed since they finally fixed quite a bit of the problems and artifacts from shadows in other games.

Don't have the game yet. It's in shipping, won't arrive for about 6-8 weeks. No playing before then. Must conquer galaxy instead.
Montana sucks! If the extra costs are the problem with overnighting into the middle of nowhere, put up a paypal link. I bet you can get the cash you need to get a copy by monday morning. I would toss a few bucks your way just to not hear the GOD DAMNED PHONE RING OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER!!!!!

Anyone else having problems with NL and the 6800 or 7800s? No, I'm running an Alienware with a 6800 Ultra 256 (driver version 77.77), 2 GB RAM, 3.0 processor with all options maxed and no troubles; barely any lag, except in P.U.R.E. with all the blasted firey things and a million and 2 sims. All the new graphic option will return to default when you re enter the game. ...I know that I raised the fade distance to extra large as well, and that one stays as I set it. I can't remember how the others defaulted. Well bugger me with a cactus up the catflap. :embarassed: Too bad I am at work, because the more I think about it, I may have the beta drivers on the computers since they resolved some of the EQ2 glitches. I am going to need to visit retardo land if that is the problem. I spent far too long testing everything to not think of that.

The no jelousy at all mod works fine as something to use for a while.
No problems with it and played a few hours whorering it up in downtown and at home. A little extreme but kind of funny to public woo hoo 4 people in the photo booth while on a date with a 5th sim.
I also have had no problems with any critical fix other than the amnesia.
Any of the woo hoo mods break nightlife though, the phone hack causes errors when sims call you if you miss a date and messes up phone options. So I currently am playing "buy a phone when I want to make a call" and just using boolprop to keep relationships at what I would normally keep them.

There are definitly some goofy things going on with graphics. I had been running the game maxxed on 2 computers (6800 256 GT overclocked /w 1.5 gig ram, and the new 7800 crotch rocket w/ 2 gig ram) and with the newest drivers, all tests showing cards work perfectly, the game has problems if I turn reflections on or move more than one option over medium. Even with shadows off!
Anyone else having problems with NL and the 6800 or 7800s?
Annoying as hell to stutter while just trying to scroll accross the neighboorhood and stalling at 7PM/AM a few seconds, and whenever a box opens, etc etc etc.
