TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Domo Arrigato, NPC Roboto

So, I'm playing with Inge's teleporter bush, and under "Summon Default" I get the option to summon *NPC-Robot. Just like *NPC-Remote Controlled Car. Does this mean that Cleanbot, etc. are spawns of Satan and should be avoided at all costs?

I still haven't figured out how to unmark items for sale after marking them for sale.
If you accidentally mark something for sale, is there a way to undo it without getting rid of the item in buy mode?

TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Unfillable wants
|
on: 2006 March 08, 20:25:31

My Sim had a want to promote one of his employees to management. The want was worth 2500 asp, 0 influence. He promoted her, but didn't get the points, and the want didn't scroll. This was a community business, by the way. Anyone else ever have this problem? I had another unfillable want (same Sim, same lot) but can't remember what it was Maybe I just need to bulldoze and start over? Pretty easy, considering that it's Malcolm Landgraab.

TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Vampire fixes

The OFB Compatibility List shows vampirefixes in green, which means it's been updated, right? However, it's not in the OFB Director's Cut, and the vampirefixes thread shows a 1/06 update. Thinking is hard.

TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Community lot business skilling

My question probably isn't as clear as I wanted it to be... I know that Sims can gain skills normally at home businesses. I don't use commskilling, but I had a business owner, on his own community lot, gaining cooking points while he cooked. Before OFB, they couldn't do this without hacks. My question was, is OFB supposed to allow Sims to learn how to cook on community lots? Without hacks?

I know a lot of you use commlotskilling. I don't, but maybe you can help me anyway My Sims gain cooking skill points on community business lots. I had a business owner "make many" lunch meat sandwiches and he started racking up cooking points. He didn't get a progress bar, just a pop-up. I sent him to the piano - he played for several hours, but no creativity (he had none to start with). I haven't tested this with either visitors or a bookcase. Bug, or feature?

Yeah, I kind of dig the suspense myself, now that I know it's possible to lose I guess I misunderstood how the system works. I thought I read somewhere that the Reaper picks a number lower than or equal to 100, and if your Sims have a daily relationship higher than or equal to the number he picks the Sim is saved.

Scenario: Knowledge Sim wants to be saved from death and uses the Maxis reindeer to electrocute himself. He has a 100/100/love relationship with his wife. She pleads with the Reaper and LOSES. I didn't think this was possible if the relationship was 100/100.

Sims with fewer than 2 neat points make HUGE puddles when they take showers, and they won't pee in the shower if they have 2 or more neat points.
How do you deal with the puddles? They take forever to clean up and put the environment score in the red. Plus, I can't make Sims clean them up if the shower is on the grass - I have to put floor tiles around the shower or else the puddles are unselectable.
Regardless, I love this challenge.

I'm not clear about what advantages the love tub has over the regular tubs, other than price. The floating roses and hearts are nice to look at, though. I guess the love tub makes Sims more likely to accept the lovin'? I've never noticed a difference

TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Memories in a Bottle

Maybe I'm blind, but I can't find the Memories in a Bottle hack (quickly deletes/adds all memories) at MTS2. Does it still exist? Or am I looking at the wrong site? Apologies in advance if it's actually easy to find
