601  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Paypal Robbery on: 2007 January 18, 16:03:22
So where do we make a new payment to?
Same question here
602  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: CAS: A hack to stop sims from moving? on: 2007 January 15, 10:07:35
I'll end up seeing the stupid expressions in-game anyway, may as well make sure they don' end up even more deformed when doing so.
I rarely have a closer look at the faces of my sims in-game (I have disliked their exaggerated facial play from the day of TS2 release), so in general, I only see the "interaction menue face". But in CAS, I have to look at them and, what's even worse, as a close-up. I don't want to have to hate my sims even before I start to play them Wink.
603  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: CAS: A hack to stop sims from moving? on: 2007 January 14, 15:49:15
Yeah - this is exactly what I've been looking for! Thanks a lot, Jordi *baaaaah*  Grin

Is there a hack for CAS to stop sims from fidgeting around and moving their faces all the time? I hate their moronic grimaces when making over their heads Angry. I'm sure I have read about such a hack somewhere in this forum, but I can't find it anymore Sad.
605  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Automated Baby Controller on: 2007 January 02, 12:16:37
I let the toddler procrastinate (macrotastics) to stop it from skilling before the sim sent to it to play with/talk to/whatever can get there. Very helpful especially when the sim in question drops a command because something is blocking its way.

LOL -  I had downloaded BRY indeed, and I was absolutely sure I had put it in my downloads folder, too, because the "Business..." option showed up when I clicked on a sim. In fact, I had not Grin Grin

*adds unlimited stupidity to her personal flaws*
607  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Is there a hack for initially closed shops? on: 2006 December 12, 14:40:44
It shows up by itself when you click the Misc catagory for the first time.  It's also under Misc->Misc with important stuff like BUY, college clock, etc.

That's where I've been looking, as well as under Decorative->Misc. I've never had problems to find all the other vital stuff, but no hammer & sickle Cry. But I will keep looking for it of course. Does it show up under certain conditions only, i.e. just on community lots?
608  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Is there a hack for initially closed shops? on: 2006 December 12, 10:53:55
That's even better - so I don't need anything besides BYR. I've not placed the controller so far, but only used the Business... options showing up when clicking on a sim (because I've not been able to find hammer & sickle in buy mode, to tell the truth Grin), so most of the BRY possibilities have eluded me so far.

Inge Jones has a sign you should check out

AUTOMATIC OPEN SIGN
http://www.simlogical.com/sl/Sims2Pages/Sims2FamilyBusiness.htm

it says
If you don't want the shop open on any particular day, toggle to "manual" control the night before.

it has other features too.
Yippee - this looks exactly like what I've been looking for, thanks Smiley!. Do you happen to know if there might be problems in combination with Business Runs You?
610  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Is there a hack for initially closed shops? on: 2006 December 12, 08:32:54
I there a hack to keep a shop closed until I decide to open it for the first time (after having bought a lot / opened a home business)?. It's so annoying that you have to turn the open/close sign first to prevent idiots customers from showing up before you've been able to adjust prices / fill the shelves / whatever, especially on big lots Sad
611  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Children of the Wolves on: 2006 December 06, 09:59:04
Once they've maxed out that skill, I shove them in a coffin

Thanks for that - you just made my day (though unintentional of course)  Grin
612  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: Ethiopian Challenge! Because E-Mail Was Too Easy! on: 2006 November 22, 17:33:23
Is giving a treat (? I don't know how it's called in the English Version) to a stray considered as "paying for food"? If so, I lost this challenge in record time because I turned free will off too late Grin Grin.

Another question: Does the programmable sleep clock run on batteries?
613  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: Ethiopian Challenge! Because E-Mail Was Too Easy! on: 2006 November 21, 17:46:35
Yes, although I don't see why you'd bother, it won't add anything if you expect to do well and are thus ruling with an iron fist anyway.
You're right, of course - and I've forgotten that neat 0 sims enjoy their stink anyway.

No dog food in Ethiopia.
Pity - I wanted to see some toddler-bowl-incident, but this has to wait, then Grin
614  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: Ethiopian Challenge! Because E-Mail Was Too Easy! on: 2006 November 21, 11:35:29
I'd love to try (and fail at) this challenge, but I need some clarification first:

Is "slobs be slobs" allowed?

What about the food bowls (or better, the fillings) that came with petz - are they considered *real* food (and thus banned) or not?
615  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: No Pet Police Hack? on: 2006 November 16, 14:35:20
I don't think the pets eat at work -- I've never seen one come home with a full hunger bar.

I've only had pets once so far, but as far as I can remember, they do eat at work; the hunger bar will not be filled, though, it's more like pets just nibbling a bit.
616  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: Bachelor/ette challenge on: 2006 November 02, 08:49:18
Hilarious! "I want to buy a car, so I can chase it"  Grin Grin. I like it even more than "I hate you..." Smiley

Your stories made me give this challenge a try - I think I'll play the JMP variations...
