76  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: KT's Store Fixes (updated 11.15.2012) on: 2012 November 20, 18:21:59
Updated OP. In the original release of Mid-Century Modern Dining and Style Set the teen dress was missing stencils, in the fixed release they broke the chair. The update ensures that no matter which release you have installed both items work.

Mucho baaa to you KT. You forgot to update the date of your post though, it still says the 15th.
77  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: KT's Store Fixes (updated 11.15.2012) on: 2012 November 19, 22:59:43
From what I understood, the gypsy set came with a copy of the Mid-century chair. According to someone who tested both sets, the chair doesn't get borked despite both being installed. these would be the old files of the Drifter's desire and Mid-century dining sets. The problem is the new file of the Mid-century dining set. They fixed the Drifter's desire by removing the extra chair and fixed the thumbnail of picnic table. They fixed the Mid-century dining by adding the missing stencils and then borking the chair.

I tested this one pretty thoroughly. The file for the dining chair is only corrupt in the updated Mid-Century Set. Both the individual download of the dining chair, as well as the one incorrectly included in the October set are both fully functioning.

Quoted from the thread jaldeer posted a while ago.

So the working chair is in the first release of the set with the broken dress, and the second release has a broken chair but fixed dress??? If this is the case I'll look to see what was changed for the chair and add a fix for both items so that no matter which set is installed they'll work. Sound good?

That sounds awesome KT! Where in the world would we be without you. In the mean time I posted a workaround.

Here you go virgali - I uploaded that teen fish dress by itself.  Untouched Sims3pack file.  I guess if people want both the fixed teen dress and a working chair, you do what I did.  Use the 1st version of that set with the fixed version of the teen dress.  Here is the 4Shared Link - http://www.4shared.com/file/FH_A6D_Y/tfBody60sModDressFlower.html & here is the MediaFire link - http://www.mediafire.com/?zxm777kjt6783ut.

Sweet! I'm updating the store fix thread. The link with the old file is currently uploading.

I noticed that too when EA "updated" that set.  I didn't think it was worth pointing it out.  When the set first came out, the chair was ok & the teen fish dress was missing the stencils that the adult version has.  EA "updated" the set and I took out the old one and replaced it with the new version (package of course) and when I got into my game, I tried out the chair (I heard reports that your sim couldn't sit in it) and sure enough my sim couldn't use it.  So, I put back the 1st version, took out that messed up teen dress in that package, & bought the fixed version by itself.  I figure EA isn't going to look into it.  They might if enough people report it, but, even so, it would take several weeks for them to fix it and re-release it.

Could you please upload the fixed standalone teen dress?

Retro Model T Dining Chair from the Mid-century Modern Dining & Style set is still borked. The "fixed files uploaded to the "Downloads" thread are still borked. Either the re-uploaded Drifter's Desire set isn't the correct file or EA simply fucked up again, either way the chair still gives a routing error and is unusable unless people use the old file which is no longer avilable here. If you care to take a look at it, I'll re-upload the file.
82  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2012 November 18, 20:32:37
Well for what it's worth I finished troubleshooting and the "fixed" Mid-century modern dining and style set file that was uploaded here contains the borked chair. The chair only works with the old file.

I gotta love how the tard gets all the attention while my questions are being ignored.

Yeah, problem is, someone would have to go back through and find and move all the lots. Fuck that. I honestly doubt Pescado would agree. Just for the record, I would like to see a sub-forum for lots.

I feel like volunteering but I keep hearing a doomsday chime every time I think about it. Besides I'm not sure how reliable I'll be since I'm not very consistent when it comes to my hobbies.
85  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2012 November 17, 12:37:09
eta* I've done no decrapifying or recompressing.

Answered your own question there buddy. You have to at least run them through the s3cr in order to open them up in s3pe, either as packs or packages.

So any thoughts on my chair throwing a fit?

ETA: I got the chairs to work by using the old upload of the Mid-century modern dining and style set. The old file is slightly smaller than the new one. I downloaded the new file again from here to make sure I hadn't installed the old one again by mistake. I made sure I deleted the dining and style set before re-installing the content but the chairs still wouldn't work. So in my desperation I just used the old file and now the chairs work.

From what I understood, the reason the chairs are glitching is because one got included with the Drifter's desire set? So if you have both installed it would render the chair unusable. I realized too late that I probably should have been troubleshooting the Drifter's set instead. Does anybody know what exactly was fixed for the Mid-century dining set? There were just missing stencils, right?
86  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2012 November 16, 21:00:30
Has anyone tested the mid-century modern diner chair yet? The op uploaded the fixed version but I still get a routing issue. Would someone more awesome than me like to give it a looksie?

Did you uninstall the old one first?

Yes, I had the old one installed. I went through the painful process of finding it and uninstalling it and then re-installed the fixed version. I gather from your question that I'll have to take further steps to get it working again?
87  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Plots / Re: New Jezzer Haus - The Fishbowl on: 2012 November 16, 20:47:42
Am I going to be sporked if I as for a separate "area" (thread/forum/board/whathaveyou) for the lots. Witch alone has made quite a few. I mean something like the "puddings" section where we can find all the awesome MATY user made lots.

It works for me too. I didn't test any of the other PC though.
91  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Do you currently have all store sets or only what you like best? on: 2012 November 14, 21:34:30
If it's in the store, you'll find it here. If you're talking about the actual stuff packs, you'll need to go to the TPB store to find those.

The compilations will tell you what sets are included. You can download those and then check out what hasn't been included yet and download those from the last page(s) of the thread. I remember that some things indeed didn't make it into the compilations but maybe they were added once spotted. Some of the Renault cars weren't included, there's a Late Night sign and building missing (named just 3), some T-Mobile promo items also slipped through and the children's charity week thing also got excluded by mistake.

All of these were re-uploaded eventually so you'll have to figure it out for yourself. There are collections files for decrapped and arred store content out there. Personally I prefer to make my own collections, that way I know exactly what's in my game and whether I'm truly up to date.

New "Stones Throw Greenhouse Venue" coming this week, with PC items:  http://simsvip.com/2012/11/13/upcoming-premium-content-greenhouse-venue/#more-18144.

Makes me glad we arr their their stupid crap. Sunflower obviously should have been in SN LE and the greenhouse should have been in Seasons.

This is from the same site that people warned me about last time. The user doesn't post untouched store files. I also believe he somehow ripped off El Presidente's decrapper tool.

I tried going full screen with Chrome and Firefox but had no luck with either of them. The post does get bigger but the images are still cut off as if they don't fit in the post itself. I remember that your other pictures do have a scroll bar at the bottom. It's as though for some reason or other this particular one seems to be different. At least from my end.

Nope, it's a total of 4 hairs.

Oops! 2 male and 2 female hairs, I need a new pair of glasses. I was hoping for more native american hairstyles. The one in the set is pretty lame and unoriginal. I guess I'll do a Google search and see if any CC maker made an ACIII Connor hair.

I didn't expect a new set so soon. Don't they always skip a week? Seems nice. Only 2 hairs though?

I'm once again Disney-witch green with jealousy of your building and decoration skills. Am I the only one having trouble viewing the pictures though? They don't seem to "format"right in the post and a lot of them get cut off.

Did simmeremma update the Drifter's Desire set?

They finallyfixed the level 10 galloping horse glitch! Now if only they could take some time out of their busy schedule to fix the wedding presents bug, that would be nice.
