I agree that the custom skins can defug some of the townies and npcs to a point, but some of those facial features are so monstrous that no amount of custom content will help. Thankfully, there are some face template replacements now. That's not true. The only CC you need to fix that is an accessory of a paper bag over their head. There's always the cow and mascot heads...

No, there's no option to break them up, but you can set it up easy enough...
Invite the current fiancee. Invite the "want to be engaged to" Sim. Greet and Socialize->Romantic with the fiancee. (A good round of slapping, poking, and shoving should ensue.)
Use phonehack to be sure you're friends with the Sim again. Repeat with reversed players.

Actually, where you get in trouble is 1) package them, install them elsewhere, play them, package them, and try to reinstall them on the original hood. 2) package two or more lots from the original hood, install them both in the same hood.
Oh, well that seems obvious. Why would anybody do that? Because they don't know any better and have never heard of Fiery Blasts Visible From Space.

As I mentioned in another thread, I had a college graduate ask a cow mascot to move in and married her. In her memories, she remembers graduating, but she only has 4 wants and 1 lock.
Lot Debugger does not offer to upgrade her (since she's got the graduation want).
How can I fix her? She's really pretty under the cow headdress...

Most places have an implied warranty of 30 or 90 days, so it would break the day after that (check the tiny print on the back of your receipt with a magnifying glass). Or at least the day after it cannot be returned.
I think credit cards also have "warranty protection" built it, which might be up to one year. Again, tiny print...

I suspect it's PhotoShop interacting with something else on your system and that something else is the root cause. I'll post links to the PhotoShop Yahoo! groups I belong to (and never heard of this on any of them).

My best TS1 "bad custom content" story...
My game started crashing at 6pm every Sim day. I used the divide and conquer method to figure out what was wrong. Turned out to be... the Maxis cuckoo clock!
After that, step #1 was always, Remove Maxis cuckoo clock.

No, it'd work, but I think she'd be seen as a drop-out, not a graduate. Only dormies get the same 'level' as the person asking them to move in, but that's also severely broken most of the time anyway, and needs something like TJ's college adjuster to fix it.
Yes, this is very broken. I had a college graduate invite a cow mascot to move in. She's got all the memories of finishing school and graduating, but doesn't have the 6 wants or the two locks. Time for Lot Debugger/Update Pre Uni Sim!

well these animals I like a whole lot better . Mostly they act like real animals and lots of fighting ..which is mostly normal. Now dogs have their squeeky bones ..like the dog knows any better? Im annoyed that when the animal attacks the furniture it shows no damage whatsoever. I think it should fall apart. Little dogs should never win dog fights with big dogs. Thats not real. Butt kicking every time I say.
Yes, dogs can be trained via Scold/Praise to chew the toy instead of the furniture. Yes, furniture will disintegrate if it's scratched or chewed too much in one session. If you can stop it in time, the furniture will survive and return to completely undamaged. Dogs will chew up homework that's left on the floor, but apparently Sim teachers will actually take that excuse. If the fight is on the little dog's turf, the little dog should win almost every time. When the breeders selected for size, they didn't also select for the understanding that the dog is now little, so the dog thinks it's a big dog, even if its vocal cords are so tiny it squeaks when it barks. Meanwhile the big dog is too busy doggie-laughing at the little dog to pay attention to its fighting...
