TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Packaging lots and sims outside of the game possible?

You can also do SimSurgery with SimPE to copy a Sims appearance. You could do SimSurgery on each person in your Sim family and make duplicates of the whole family with BodyShop, move them into the game and pack them up.
I think if you open up each lot file in the LotBin (My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\LotCatalog) with SimPE, you can see a view for each floor and a front view (the jpg resources, not the Texture resources). After closing the file, you can delete it. Do not attempt this on the files in the My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Neighborhoods\N001\Lots folder. Bad things will happen.

Even though I'm a huge fan of BYU, I don't use it in every household. Those lots with only one or two Sims who have a limited budget aren't allowed such luxuries, just so I can see what kind of interesting things they will do, such as playing pirate in the tub. (I know BYU is cheap, but I like to torture at least some of my Sims). LUXURY?!? Terlet paper is a LUXURY now? What are you proposing instead, going back to leaves? Yep. The best kind is poison ivy.

I know asking here was a shot in the dark.
Warlokk's stuff is too encumbersome (heh!).
You have to pick outfits to match the body type... pick the custom skintone to the size you want then match all the clothes blah blah blah... bloating my downloads folder to an annoying size. I don't want all that custom content. Warlokk's multiple hip/bra-size files have been somewhat superceded by his Pinup Girl body type.

I had this happen several times, mostly on students with very high skills.
I just use College->Rampage to get them to max. When College->Rampage doesn't come up any more, you know it's Finals time!

Gawd how stupid! I suppose it's like outfits. I really do think outfits should be in a sim's inventory so they move out *with* their clothes, and the same outfit can't be worn by the whole household on the same day! Once they have grown out of them, the player could use normal inventory controls to hand them down to another sim.
It gets better... if a preggo Sim who normally wears custom jammies (or whatever) moves out, after she has the baby, her custom jammies are gone and she has to wear the ugly Maxis ones! I haven't tried this again after getting Squinge's wear anything as maternity clothes fix.

Omg! I have got to see if I can kill a couple with woohoo exaustion!
You could do that before Seasons, especially if you got them woohooing in a hot tub over and over. They'd die of hunger before getting smart enough to go eat. I killed Don Lothario that way once.

Clothes: Make the Townie controllable using various hacks and change their clothes with the DMA gadget.
Faces: Make the Townie controllable and use the plastic surgery station or the DMA gadget.
If you don't know what you're doing, don't monkey with SimPE.

If I have all the stupid ugly Maxis townies, downtownies, dormies, etc. all zipped up where the neighborhood creator can't find them, do I need to unzip them to make the Seasons installer happy?
I'm just waiting for Ste to say GrowUp is Seasons-friendly and I'll be at EB pronto!
