I'm reluctant to call this a routing issue since such a thing would be affecting everyone and not just some.  But here is something to try.

Doesn't the Stay Things shrub leave some kind of nasty residue on the lot?  I've used it before without ill effects, but I remember the FOJ saying Bad Things could happen.

Well, dang.  And things were starting to look interesting for Dim Trepie.

I seem to remember one of the flavor packs for the Kitten Killer re-enabling pregnancy via dance sphere abductions for YA males because an Eaxis bug allowed the YA males to get preggers without the kitten killer in the game before an official patch fixed it.  So I guess I always assumed it work on community lots for some reason.  Of course, the one time I've ever had a dance sphere abduction the victim was female.

My engagement wants spam doesn't seem to have changed any.  Hell, my romance sims will roll the want sometimes.  Along with the fear.

Oh lawdy, Trepie spawn cometh.

You can almost hear Eye of The Tiger playing while La Butt trains for the "Battle for Trepie".

I'm all for doing what you believe in.  But I think ethics needlessly complicates things.  I prefer to look at things in a simple way.

Humans are omnivores.  I see no reason why (barring health concerns and opinions on taste and texture) we should deny ourselves half of our naturally intended diet.  That being said, I love meat.  I like a lot of fruits.  I'm not into vegetables mostly, but I do love me some potatoes.  A nice, think grilled steak with some Heinz 57 sauce and a baked potato slathered in butter.  Mmmmm...

I never understood the whole being squimish about killing your food thing either.  I should hope that self-preservation would take priority over "I can't kill this.  Its cute and fluffy!".

I've used the one with the white walls multiple times myself.  The open bottom floor works nicely for a home business.

I've had mixed results.  But the scenarios seemed to work fine for me the last time I did a full re-install without loading the game in between EPs.  The only irregularity being Pascal Curious having a human baby instead of an alien one.  I just terminated the pregnancy with the Sim Blender and re-impregnated him with my custom PT.  Don Lothario doesn't leave Cassandra at the alter anymore either.  But I've noticed this since Seasons, so I contribute it to the increased relationship gain during summer.

None of the EPs came with scenarios as far as I can tell.  Usually I just read the sim bio in the Simology pane and try to go with the story from there.

Just pretend the neighborhood is near the equator.
