Another update with the latest African collection, the Prius Promotional stuff, and fixed a couple that had the wrong items in them.

I tried using your collection files, but, the store item collections don't show up. Jezzers work fine for me. Does anyone know why that would happen?

I was playing Sims 3 on a laptop. I had slow game play and random crashes. Now that I have a shiny new computer, the game runs beautifully (I didn't know the water actually MOVED!) without a single crash.

I have to agree with the FOJ. I like the Sims 3 better. It is the future IMHO.

Everything the FOJ said... I'm still using it with Windoze 7 all works well.

Twoftmama has her own site with the updated mods.

I click on the mailbox "write thank you notes" and the sim will go to the kitchen table pull a pad out of his ass and write the notes, and I will get a notification that everyone received their thank you notes and know that you enjoyed their gifts. They don't even stuff it in the box. The notification just pops up in the right corner like all notifications as soon as the sim is done writing.
36  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread on: 2012 January 10, 08:37:31
It is fixed now, but they can't write thank you notes. When I click on the mailbox to write thank you notes it disappears from their cue. If I take out Awesomemod, they write the thank you notes.

I have a couple that was recently married and when I try to get the mail from the mailbox (the presents that their friends have sent them) the game crashes.  When I took out all of my cc and Awesomeware it doesn't crash. If I leave in just Awesomeware (Awesome Mod, Rule of Six, Config, straygnome) it crashes. Has anyone had this problem?

My game is fully patched and I have all the expansions and still I'am unable to get my store stuff to install, it still gives me the message as above about needing to be updated to the current patch. Is this happening to anyone else? or does anyone have a solution? (I have no clue on how to make these pkg files either).

Are you decrapifying?
44  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Crazy Issue of Craziness on: 2010 September 12, 04:02:04
The newest AM requires patching, I believe.
45  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Game won't load on: 2010 September 01, 07:15:06
Nope, it isn't on the thread I downloaded AM from. I did eventually find a thread that DID give a link to the aweconfig site to generate the package file.

For those of you who so ENJOY calling us tards and idiots and all sorts of lovely names because we are looking for help, finding answers isn't as easy as you deem it to be. There are any number of ways you can word your search and just as many times will come up with completely different results. Don't assume that we've NOT spent hours going through the forums (on several sites) or Googling until our fingers bleed. Don't assume that typing in a reasonable phrase will magically give us exactly the thread we need. Don't assume that your insults and coarse language will send us scurrying in fear and set us on the straight and narrow path because most of us truly have done the footwork and still come up empty-handed.

So, no thank you Tever for your unwillingness to help and be sure YOU get your facts straight before dealing out the sarcasm.

Shouldn't you be asking, ummm, I dunno, the creator of the Jonha sliders?  Roll Eyes

48  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomod discussion/questions/helpful tips thread on: 2010 July 20, 05:19:35
I just installed Ambitions and updated my game & mods yesterday. I've noticed that since then, sometimes when my sims are active, I can't see any of the map tags. I've tried clicking around to switch the view from all to friends homes to work places, but nothing works. However, if I change my active sim, that sim will see maptags. Is there any reason why certain sims shouldn't see maptags?

Edit: Ok, now one of my sims' motives are rapidly lowering. This isn't happening to anyone else in her household. It started right after she searched for clues at someone's house. Is there anything I can do?

Uninstalling AM fixed both of these problems, but I don't want to play without it.

Edit #2: Does the new version of AM not work with the new version of supercomputer? Because separately they work fine, but I realized that together they were causing these problems. Is anyone else having similar problems?

"resetmaptags" brought map tags back for me. Have you tried "fixall" or "resetsim" for the other issues?
49  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Stupid Sims 3 patch on: 2010 July 18, 03:26:02
I've read that steps, it hasn't worked for me... I prefer "blunt" but working. This is like my problem with Riverview, It's just that my IQ has a negative value or I'm cursed.
The steps work. If they are not working for you, it is because you are not following them. It isn't our job to hand-hold you or spend hours making up for your stupidity.

I had to uninstall an expansion pack and reinstall due to a changed file with this patch. I managed to do so without coming here to whine about it, nor did I even need to check some guide. It's a rather elementary process.

good for you... so why are you posting?

Duh, she posted to call you a dumbass.
