It happened in every conceivable configuration of toilet & bathtub I could put in there. I eventually went with that one because it has worked elsewhere.
In a different neighbourhood with the same toilets I didn't have this problem. I was going to say presumably because they were all on the same level, but not so. This problem only began after I installed the pets game patch. It could be the toilet. It could be stusimity. It could be magic voodoo brokeness of the highly unstable patch. I've tried moving the toilet, moving the bathtub, removing the bathtub, putting the toilet in an entirely different section of house with nothing in there except the toilet, the bog roll & a light. I'm pretty certain I've tried every combination possible here.
For the record, buy worked perfectly fine with this toilet before the patch. I'm so certain this is a patch problem, I'm going to try it with every damn toilet I have in my game, just to see what the problem is.
Right now I don't think an aerial shot is going to be of much use to you except in seeing how I gut out & redecorate lots for victorian aesthetics. But I will keep you updated.
::UPDATE:: Well, it's still happening with the cheapest toilet in the game. I'd take pictures but frankly my wrists are starting to hurt, so any further gaming is out for the night.

That's a real pain in the arse thing to ask because it flashes between "use" and "evict" fast enough to make an epileptic nervous, so what you're going to get is a screencap of a very confused victorian pleasure sim & the smear where the flashies are going on, or a clear shot of either action in queue, depending on how my computer is feeling at the moment. But since I am about to go to the place where the madness happens anyway, you'll get your damn pic. Eventually. Or quickly. Well it happened again, and so rather than making you sit through the three pics I took (& 45 sim minutes of being stuck in the loo) I figure I can just post the one that shows what's really going on. I had to be damn quick to get it, but I did.

Lately, in houses with more than one bathroom (with a BYU controller in each accordingly) there continues to be an issue with the second ones that were built. Namely, sims unable to use the first bathroom (due to occupancy or because they're closer to the second one upon receiving the order to use a bathroom) get stuck inside the second bathroom when they're finished. The BYU icon reappears in their queue again and again - and they won't leave the room making it inaccessible to other sims. <snip>
Yeah, about this... I've started having the stuck in second toilet problem since installing the patch. This is the first time I can recall having buy toilets on different levels, but yep, guaranteed one of the toilets is going to have stuck sim syndrome. As I haven't had this problem on lots with all bathrooms on a single level yet, I'm off to test how broken this is.

Just wondering if anyone else has had two sims competing for the use of the same bathroom only to have one sim "wait" to use the toilet right in front of the toilet, so that there's a deadlock?
I've got these two family sims living in Don Lothario's condo, (Yes, I know they are more than a few sandwiches short of a picnic. In fact, I rather suspect the basket & blanket are missing & they're standing around wondering what this picnic business is anyway) and well, they're doing just that. They're too stupid for BUY. Not joking.
This happen to anyone else?

Congratulations on making the fundage needed. I was giving serious thought to chipping in (which I don't do, ever - I like free things) but I have to put the wedding first.
will there be costs later on down the track that will be contributable to?

What you need: Whatever hack you prefer that will allow you to have families/non YA sims in a university neighbourhood.
What you can have: Whatever the hell you like, with the exception of mood or money hacks, mods or cheats. Everything else, well it's your game, not mine, so if it works for you normally & doesn't conflict with the spirit of the game, then go for it.
Some vague rule-like instructions: Create a YA in CAS. Move them into a vacant plot of land - whatever size you like, but remember you only get $500 to start the game. Set it up as you like. If you desire, you may get them a job if you have the ability to do so. You may move in any non-playable character, but they must become a part of the family as soon as the option becomes available(committed relationship/engagement or marriage/joining count as "part of the family" as far as I'm concerned). You can sleep, eat, study, whatever on another lot if you have the hacks for it.
Restrictions: You may only send a YA to a university lot (If a YA is invited on an outing downtown, you may choose to accept or not.) You must send them to class & the finals.
Making it tougher: Create a female neat-freak(neatness 8 or above) pleasure sim and use the period hack, put her on the largest piece of vacant land you can afford and make her get a job.

some sims, or some zombified sims?the difference is marked, and worth looking at, particularlary since Squinge's zombie & vampire aging hack is apparently just bloatware in my game. I'd personally put up with a random zombie aging rapidly if it meant having them age. .. something about all that decaying flesh not being long for this world excites me.

I played this today with Brandi Broke & the bowels of the Pleasantview Townies. She ended up marrying Armin Sims, but at the wedding, one of the losers came up & made out with her, so they were divorced before the wedding party had ended. I decided to move her back home, and this is where some really freaky stuff goes on... Dustin had the radio playing and one of the new tunes that shipped with Pets was on - it was one of those emo things. I just thought it was so fitting for her ultimate failure to achieve her life's goal & being put back in her place. I guess you had to be there, really.
Anyway, this was an insane amount of fun. I think that Beau Broke might be next in line for my next Bachelor game.

*blows dust off the old necronomicon & sacrifices the virgin.*
Okay, to start from the beginning...
A few days ago I stumbled across this thread & before I got to it's conclusion my computer went foom. So for some reason I thought the hack had actually been made & I've spent the last few hours searching desperately for it, intending on adding it to my game right this minute. More fool me.
So, at the risk of being pelted with rotting carcasses & whatever else you guys have to hand, I have to ask - is anyone even considering working on the autonomous job hunting hack, or has it been buried at the bottom of the too hard basket, like the hack for getting Darren Dreamer to be worth the time & effort?

I like size variety in my game too - So far I've found that All About Style's clothes are generally quite good in all sizes, because many of them are based off maxis meshes. I roadtest new clothes in CAS before deciding to keep them - anything that clips on a fat sim gets chucked.

Do you have Pets installed? If so, have you checked your hacks for Pets compatibility? Phone mods in particular will not work in Pets if not updated.
My sincerest apologies. I said i didn't have any phone things because I normally don't bother with them - they don't interest me at all, but I just checked in my MATY pets folder & there it was... phonehack (pets version). I took it out & suddenly my girls are going greek. Word to the wise - this one needs assistance with pets.
