The online banking mod on MTS2 offers a loan faciility, which you pay back, but you need access to a computer to get the money, so that probably wouldn't help.

Could you put a computer on a community lot, in a bank?  I've never tried this, but it might be fun.  I have had rich relatives send money orders to their poorer kin so they could buy a decent house.

When I run my mouse over the FFS lot debugger, the sim selected gets reset. If at work, they are now on the sidewalk. This is annoying, and I have no idea what's causing it.

I'm experiencing this problem too.  In debugging mode it pops up 'Stack number out of range' for the Sim in question.

I'm going to try a previous version if one is still kicking around, and let you know if that helps.

Edit: Reverted back to FFS Debugger (09 June 05) and no jumps so far.

This is happening to me too.  Fortunately, I still have the older version, I'll try using that one.  Thanks for the helpful post.

I see this bug with townies in Uni all the time, actually. They serve themselves one plate, then go over to the bar and grab anther, then another, and another... It may be related to Uni.
When this happens in any of my dorms, it's usually because the chair they want looks like it's occupied.  I have to shift-click and reset it so they can use it.

Damn!  I just got pushed into Aries, when I'm obviously still a Taurus by temperament.  I'm going to ignore this whole thing.

If you want to create a Deathmatch, you have to initiate it yourself anyway. If you don't want a deathmatch, then why are you putzing around with that dumb thing?

Pardon my ignorance, but how do you start a deathmatch?  I have your hack concerning it, but I don't really know how to use it.

Thanks,

I missed this topic when it was originally posted.  What I am wondering is, how do you know if an NPC is sick?  Is it just the message they get when they visit your playable sims?  Or is there a flag which you can modify in SimPE? Huh

JM, I know you like your sims grouchy, but what do you consider to be the maximum reasonable niceness?  Would 7 be under the creepy-too-nice limit?

Thanks,
Vicki

Child skill-building goes hand in hand with Fun, because Children are low in Fun once they return from school. If they bring a friend home from school, they head to the chessboard. This is good for Logic, Fun and Relationship score (and Comfort if you have a comfy chair).

Yes, I like this aspect too, and also use painting to gain enough fun to get their homework done.  Of course, sometimes they have to kick the flamingo when they get home to get enough fun so that they will agree to paint or play chess.

I noticed for the first time this weekend that the obstacle course is unavailable to pregnant sims, a male in my case, although he could use the exercise machine.  I guess Maxis decided that all that falling down wouldn't be healthy for someone who is pregnant.
