1  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2016 January 18, 20:26:09
Does anybody know what is missing from rachelstoolbox's most recent torrent on the Pirate Bay?
I have found a few lists of store sets but can't seem to find an up-to-date list of the items themselves to compare the torrent to. I've noticed that the SwiftGro Gardening Station is missing. This unfortunately makes me worry that the store fixes provided by the torrent is also out of date. If anybody has done the research of what needs to be added to make the torrent complete, or if somebody can link me to a list of all the store items so I can do the research myself, I would be very grateful.
2  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Pudding Factory is for downloads: put your lame requests & WCIFs here on: 2014 June 07, 21:04:03
WCIF a cheat to get to the top of the social groups.  SO I can unlock the sport agent career.
Master Controller can do that for you, I believe. In fact, I think it can give the sim careers that they don't qualify for.

I agree. But unfortunately, much as I'd like to reach out and kung-fu your sorry asses through the monitor right now, I'm forbidden from doing so by the lack of technological advancement in the 21st century. Still waiting on that portal gun.

It would be really great if there were a way to edit new Werewolves in game. It is (obviously) easy to edit werewolves in CAS when you make a new family, but if a Sim is bitten in game there doesn't seem to be any way to edit their werewolf form. The mirror doesn't work, and Shift/Clicking to send one to CAS doesn't seem to ever pop up with the second form icon over the Sim icon in the bar. I need to get rid of the horrible werewolf hair, which doesn't match my Sim's normal look at all.

Though having werewolves keep most of their features, as previously asked for, would probably solve this for me.

Have you tried editsim? If you don't even know what I'm talking about, RTFM.
5  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Supernatural Bugs on: 2012 September 22, 08:43:00
-snip-
Is there any relevance to the colour of the fairy glow? Mine is currently deep red.

In one of the testing loads, the fairy walked past the garden patch and turned into a zombie, is that normal? The cure potion from the witch fixed it, but it was new moon and I thought sims only changed into zombies from being attacked on the full moon.

If by "colour of the fairy glow" you mean the aura, I'm pretty sure each aura has its own specific colour. Soothing is blue, creativity is green, body and mind is red, and I don't know if there are any more auras because I haven't bothered with fairies much beyond that. If you mean the wings, they can be any colour you choose in CAS, but I think it's randomized when a sim becomes a fairy/when the game spawns a fairy.

As for the zombie fairy, I'm not sure whether it was an active sim or not, but I believe the process that the game goes through during a full moon includes not only spawning homeless zombies but also transforming up to three sims in town into zombies "temporarily." I'm not sure EA really knows the difference between "temporary" and "permanent." I wouldn't imagine this would affect the active household, though.

Also, I don't think the "Zombie Attack" action or whatever actually does anything to spread any sort of zombie curse or disease. I think it's just an annoyance.
6  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: TS3 Store Content Fixes (Updated 08/23/12) on: 2012 September 21, 19:25:05
It doesn't matter where the sims3packs come from, as long as no-one has fiddled with them and decrapified or otherwise amended them. You need vanilla sims3packs. As far as I know, all the packs in our store thread are clean and pure and harbour no evil thoughts.

They work just as well with decrapified sims3packs and both types of packages as well. As long as you use the correct fixes, that is.

Ugh. Ctrl+Click the application, choose Explore. That should help you out.
8  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Testers wanted: Various Annoyance stomping Hacks on: 2012 September 21, 04:39:54
UPDATE

shw_nosendpotiononline

For those who, like me, aren't amused by the recently introduced "send stuff to friend online" feature. I wouldn't have minded in the least if this hadn't caused a lag each fucking time I clicked on a potion in inventory. This hack kills the "send potion online" option altogether, so if you like the idea of sending stuff to people, don't use it.
Any chance you could remove the wish that sims sometimes have to send potions online, as well?

I don't know what your problem is (most likely PEBCAK), but I'll give you a hint as to where those folders are. They're in the application. At least, last I checked that's what MACs do.
10  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Store content not showing in game on: 2012 September 19, 02:07:12

I never said the installed worlds folder jack ass. I know what I mean. Installed worlds as in installed store worlds, which go into the folder it said it doesn't have.

Installed worlds, regardless of whether they are from the store or not, go into the ...\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\InstalledWorlds folder, like Michele said. They are not placed in the game data files, but rather the documents folders, like the rest of things installed via the launcher.
11  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Store content not showing in game on: 2012 September 17, 05:32:30
Yes, I do. First, you are not on a computer, you are on a Mac. Macs are fucking retarded when it comes to gaming. Secondly, you don't have that folder because (wait for it) you don't have any installed worlds and if you do your Mac is probably hiding or keeping that directory from you because it's a Mac and doesn't want you, the user, to have access to your own files. Now go search for your main issue and try again; that's not the thread you are looking for.

It said it didn't have the gamedata\etc. folders, not the installedworlds folder. It's wrong, but that's besides the point.

CaeraBlue, KT is right about Macs hiding the directory from you. I'll leave you to search for where it hides its application data folders.
12  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Bonehilda on: 2012 September 15, 02:19:38
My unmodded (as far as I can tell, though I've modded my maids) Bonehilda is in the front room on the bottom floor (on the foundation), right next to the kitchen. She has never cooked for anyone but herself (why she doesn't have static motives I don't understand), she'll clean most everything (though I think she hasn't picked up some plasma juice boxes in the kitchen, so maybe she just doesn't like the kitchen), and she'll go outside and water as many plants as she can find. She even went all the way up to the third floor to water the potted plants. Apparently, if you have the rock piles on your home lot (the ones from WA that your sims can take a pickaxe to), she will take the time to remove them for you.

I don't really understand her at all.

By 'min 3' does that mean she doesn't do anything in any room less than three rooms/doors from her? That would explain her ignoring my kitchen.

I'll test your mod out, KT.
13  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomemod Request Thread on: 2012 September 15, 02:01:52
I would like to request a repack & reupload of the latest awesomemod base file, as there is something wrong with the zip, I know how to unzip, I do it all the time. thanks.

PEBKAC
14  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Bonehilda on: 2012 September 14, 08:27:26
Speaking of Broomhilda - anybody know any mod to make her harvest the garden?

That's basically what I'm looking to make her do. That, and a few other things.

Hey, at least she waters the plants, even if she doesn't do anything else to them.
15  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Bonehilda on: 2012 September 14, 01:57:44
WCIF Information on the Broomhilda Bonehilda files? If an edit is made to how the maid works, would that change her actions as well, or does she have her own set of things that she will and won't do?
16  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: New Simbot "My New Best Friend" Reward Bug on: 2012 September 13, 20:51:19
Okay I'm back with something new, yippie!

Apparently the "My New Best Friend" reward option is no longer working for me. Sad I choose the reward option and nothing happens, no spending of points, no simbot, nada..

Is this happening for others too? Also- I'm getting the "Some objects could not be reloaded and were replaced" message on some of my old saves (not sure if this is from Supernatural install or Store fixes installation). Ffffffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuu.......

In the meantime, I guess a workaround would be to move a Simbot that you have had previously in other families and copy them to the clipboard (then the library) or you want to go all out: build one...bleh..

Have you tried buying the reward with ALL your mods removed? Or any form of troubleshooting?

That "Some objects could not be reloaded and were replaced" message means there were items (Store items, CC, whatever) that no longer exist in your game files. Decrapified and crapified objects are considered different objects as far as the game is concerned. It shouldn't cause any problems in your game at all. The game replaces them with an equivalent item (a store washing machine with an ambitions washing machine, for example), so at worst a few pieces of furniture will look out of place.
17  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Testers wanted: Various Annoyance stomping Hacks on: 2012 September 13, 20:48:34
Zombie Apocalypse.

You know, if zombies were handled like mummies, i.e. if they attacked people and infested them, they could actually be a lot of fun.

This should have been an option from the start, if you ask me. It's obvious they were thinking of overwhelming zombie hordes.

Twallan seems to have had the same idea, because he implement two zombie diseases in his Vector mod.
18  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: My game is so damn slow on: 2012 September 13, 20:40:07
-snip-
And what type of packages do you recommend I remove?
Do you really need somebody to hold your hand through pruning your mods? Get rid of what you don't use first, and what you don't need, and then what you use very little, etc.
19  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomemod Request Thread on: 2012 September 13, 20:38:09
Since Awesome already allows disabling aging for ghosts and robots, may you perhaps implement the option to toggle aging for other occults? Particularly vampires, who are supposed to be immortal, and mummies, who are already undead. (a mummy dying of "old age" is just a huge logic bomb, he's already like 4,000 years old...)
There is a lifetime reward for vampires to become immortal. Also, I think you can turn individual ageing off with debug commands. Alternatively, Twallan's Master Controller can turn ageing off for specific occult types, I think. If not, it can at least turn it off for all sims of that occult type.
20  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod for 1.38/Supernatural on: 2012 September 13, 20:19:39
The test version is stable. A few bugs here and there do not mean broken. Not to mention it's a whole new freaking EP, and Pes is probably trying to fix/improve all the fuckups features EA added.
21  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Testers wanted: Various Annoyance stomping Hacks on: 2012 September 13, 02:07:30
Thanks for these. Have definitely experienced less zombies than before, what the hell was EA thinking with that spawn percentage?

Zombie Apocalypse.

I figured I would give awesome mod a shot to try it out.  It is installed, but how do I edit it or how do I get the mosaic off, I have gone into showconfig and setconfig which did nothing, just popped up a small window that says syntax: setconfig <options> <values>

I also thought maybe I could edit the nudity and tried to type in NoNudityCensorM: True and also NoNudityCensorM True, that did not work either.........so how do I edit it?
RTFM
23  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2012 September 12, 03:25:39

Yep, I just checked that, I did have an old one and in search of a new one.  Anyone have any ideas where to get a newer mod to remove the mosaic?
Here is a link.

Why the heck ask? Why don't you just USE IT ANYWAY. The worst it can do is nothing. The best, save your card.
25  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomemod Request Thread on: 2012 September 11, 20:55:12
Is it at all possible to allow occult statuses of one species apply to other species when manually added? I want my witch's familiar (cat) to be able to cast spells, but adding the unicorn trait and debug-commanding Occult>Add>Unicorn hasn't done anything. I even tried adding the "short on magic" buff that unicorns get to see if that would activate the commands, but it didn't. When I tried adding the Unicorn occult state to it through Master Controller, it made no difference, and when I checked in that section again it said its occult state was still None.

I'd imagine there would be animation difficulties, but I don't think I'd mind my cat becoming a stretchy freak if it means it can catch things on fire.
