1  TS4: The Pee-ening / Insert Amusing Name Here / Re: Sims4 is not gonna happen on here, is it? on: 2016 April 27, 16:57:50
As long as the FOJ includes the Soviet Russia seal of approval on his TS4 mods, - wherein the bolshie appliances use the sims, and not the other way round - then I'm totally "Red" and I'm totally Hammer & Sickle in.

In Soviet Russia, you do not use TS4. TS4 uses you...

Can't wait. I knew you'd get round to it eventually, FOJ. You always have been a key simmer. Resistance is (Was) futile...
2  TS4: The Pee-ening / Insert Amusing Name Here / Re: Origin screws my computer on: 2015 February 19, 13:44:25
I'm not suggesting this is your problem, or indeed your mistake, because Origin is far from being a friendly little Santa's helper of a program. But a common error among users reporting Origin messes up their computer with lag and so forth, is because they have not shut Origin down properly when finished with it. When finished gaming and you wish to use your computer for other purposes, then simply closing the Origin window does not shut the bugger down as it would most other programs. This is where Task Manager is your friend, to open it up, see that Origin is still running, and running quite high the sneaky little so-and-so, and use said Task Manager to shut it down properly. It can help in most cases with ending the Origin poltergeist effect.

@alexpilgrim, the 4Shared link to the Century Manor mansard roof visibility fixes no longer works. It seems 4Shared have shut it down. I certainly had a gripe with EA's rooftop shortcomings with the Mother Russia set vanishing when in town view, but I've downloaded your fix for that set.

As a side note, over the life of Sims 3, I have had luck with Granthes OMSP mod over a MTS when dealing with obstinate objects that are determined to remain visible while skipping through floors. When in buy mode, if you first place down an OMSP, then plonk your obstinate object down on top of that, then when you're back in play mode going up and down levels the object vanishes from sight. It's worth a try if all other tricks have failed.

Hello, KT. Haven't seen it posted here, but the Kingdom of Cambodia hot tub has the same issue as the Asian hot tub you fixed. The waterfall animation is all wrong on a decrapped s3pk version. Thanks for all the fixes so far.

Right then, in an older house where a simbot has long lived, her Uber toilet - long ago upgraded when Pets was new - went wonky when she sat on it. Animations pulled her right back as she sat, then she reset standing on her feet. Toilet flushed but nothing else. Replaced with new Uber toilet - Sims3pk not .package format 1.32 patch - debug cheat used to selfclean upgrade,  music set to version one and auto play selected, forced her bladder to red. She sits. Everytthing plays out fine. Animations correct. Music still cute. Hands sprayed with pink mist. Even the gawping for God down the bowl. All good. She even asks God, "so why hide down there?" And He says, "just here looking up the annuls of humanity." All in Simlish, of course. No, everything's good here. Except for the older toilet I had to replace.

Well next time I shall write it all down before I type. Hang on a mo?

That was a problem originally connected to the foutain of uselessness youth. But your mod blended with that other fix made all that crap work as it should. Haven't used the tech bog for a while, now - couldn't stand the sims gawping down the bowl like they just found God down there - (The music was cute, though) But I'll go get one of my sims to sit on the crapper to see if anything's changed. In truth I just want to hear the cute music again. Forgot all about that. Ahh, god. so that's where you been hiding...

Yep, package converting it is then. I get the feeling in my water that EA are up to something. (More than their usual bullshit.) Time to roll up the sleeves and, at long last, get it done. That'll be a long weekend. And there is always that Mass Effect 3 iso sat here looking more and more like a tasty bowl od rice crispies. Snaffled, cracked and ready to be popped. Hmmm, tough choice, Sims 3 or Shepard 3.

Have all the folks, who are having trouble with decrapped store goodies, recently downloaded the new 1.32 patch? 119mb of hunter-killer trouble, if my over-indulgent imagination continues. On the surface it looks like a safety net for all those squeaky-clean simmers to port their Showtime sims back an forth between computers, with no unwanted cc tagging along. So then, wouldn't this latest patch have to route through your files determinig exactly what is legit store stuff for the squeaky-clean do-rights to continue enjoying, and what is picaroon-class decrapped booty to be anhialated? Not only preventing it from crossing over computers, but disabling it on your own pc? Is this 1.32 patch safe to download? Should I start converting my hordes of store stuff into package format in a frenzied bid to save it all? Or should I stop using my imagination because I'm not very good with it?
