If they have long, funky names, you got them from the download of a lot (or possibly a sim, I think sim-related CC can get dumped there too).

You can also get those names if you use Delphy's Sims3Pack Multi Installer. I ran a bunch of store Sims3Packs through that and have over 2000 funky ass named CC files now.

Yeah, that is exactly what happened. Is there a mirror for a Merlin download anywhere? I keep getting linked back to TSR and it's a broken link.

OK. I installed it and I was able to move all my CAS CC into one folder, my hacks/mods into another and my Objects into another. I have a folder with about 35 items that show up as Unknown, no thumbnail of anything and they all have garbled names like the example in my first post. I have a feeling that they may be part of another download (I downloaded two Sims from the Exchange) so I don't want to delete them if they're needed, but some of the files are kind of big and I don't want them there if they don't have to be.

I have the Sims 3 and all expansions/stuff packs installed as well as Barnacle Bay. I downloaded Hidden Springs from here because I didn't think it was worth paying 20 bucks for just an extra world slowing down my computer. I have decided to take it off of my computer and found the package file for the world itself, but it's been so long that I don't remember if there were other files associated with it and I want to make sure I got everything. I also have a Sims3Pack installer which has unzipped my S3Packs into a Mods folder, but as a result, there's a lot of objects with names like 0xc8ea12feabcf5eae46d707bad318c532.package and I don't want to delete them if they're really important.

What utility would you recommend for organizing this content to see what I can safely delete/categorize?

I tried downloading the Store Stuff from the Master List on the first page of the downloads. It said all the files were invalid/corrupt and the zip files were only like 9 KB. What am I doing wrong?
