This is the most clear and cogent argument yet for reopening the 'Dome.

Didn't you flounce? I'm pretty sure you flounced. I just can't seem to find the it anywh- Oh, here it is!

In case you aren't familiar, you should use Nraas's Porter to move your family if that's your decision. If you want to stick with vanilla worlds, I suggest checking out Ellacharmed's world files with routing fixes over at MTS. Personally, I use Legacy Island III from the exchange, but that one does have some serious routing issues, meaning I have to reset the world with MasterController every four in-game weeks or so to keep everything working correctly. If I don't reset, I start to get time stutters.

I should note though that I have a very beefy rig and run TS3 off an M.2 SSD, so take anything I have to say with a grain of salt. I should also note that I no longer use AM, only because I was running into an issue a while back that caused my Universities to be empty. I believe this issue has been fixed since I stopped using AM, but I'm presently happy with my Twallan combo.
4  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Problems with loading my Save on: 2017 May 09, 23:09:11
AM forces a reset any time it is enabled or disabled. The reset should happen as soon as the game finishes loading (which usually happens before the game becomes playable, so the load bar may still be moving/stopped close to the end). As to how that allows/prevents loading, I'm not familiar enough with how TS3 works internally to answer the question. I do recall the reason I stopped using Bridgeport was because my save there eventually refused to load, and when it would load, it would lock up about 5 in-game minutes into playing the file, which sounds strikingly similar to your issue. I wrote it off as a BBFVFS.

ErrorTrap log information can be found here. The 2nd log you uploaded looks like a standard cleaning routine, most likely running as a result of AM/MasterController cleaning. The first log looks similar to an error that happens when a Sim is writing a book with a name that matches an existing written book, but with the smartphone. So, I'm guessing, a Sim is trying to create a blog post with the same name as an existing blog post. Either that, or it's a corrupt inventory issue, which would be most easily resolved by nuking the Sim that was trapped, or nuking their inventory.

ETA: Added clarity to when the reset takes place, as well as to clarify the 2nd log information.

When you disable/uninstall AM, all sims are automatically reset. It may be that AM is trying to fix issues with the save, which is causing the load time to be excessive/hang. Resetting the sims may be fixing errors initially, but any errors are probably recurring shortly after the reset. Have you tried using ErrorTrap from Nraas to see if anything gets caught when you load the game and play for a bit?

Did you know that "sheeple" was recently canonized by Merriam-Webster? The last post just made me think of that, but I can't quite put my finger on why.

FAEK ETA: Poofs, if you move the post above mine to make it look like I double posted, so help me, I'll take this all the way to the Cheese forum!
7  TS4: The Pee-ening / Insert Amusing Name Here / Re: Sooo, Does Anyone Play This Game? on: 2017 April 22, 19:44:11
You can use the super patch to revert TS3 to 1.67 if you accidentally (or intentionally) installed 1.69.

Would that work on a newer disc that installs origin with it? Had BFBVS so I lost everything non-important. I reaaaaally don't want to have to pull out my eye patch and hunt down legit yarrs.

It should work. I had to reinstall TS3 through Origin when I built a new PC, since I had originally purchased it through EADM (I know, HUGE mistake). Running the 1.67 super patch downgraded the install so that Origin is no longer required.

No one should ignore the reaper, least of all a 60. You could be next!
10  Awesomeware / Armoire of Invincibility / Re: TOOL: 3Booter, the Incooperative Game Kicker on: 2016 May 13, 20:15:33
Well Jezzer, if you had just decapitated yourself, you could answer the question for us, and indeed the whole world! But since you don't know the answer, we have to rely on Titlights. Honestly, you ought to be ashamed of your ignorance in this highly important matter!
11  Awesomeware / Armoire of Invincibility / Re: TOOL: 3Booter, the Incooperative Game Kicker on: 2016 May 13, 02:55:52
I was asking how to get the 3booter to work WITH the final version of Sims 3. Doesn't seem particularly unreasonable to me; of course Jezzer will try to make fun to cover the fact that HE hasn't a clue.

This is an excellent line of logic! While it figures that out for us, I have completed preparations for obtaining a solution to another, similar question for which there is no confirmed answer; does a sighted creature continue to perceive the world after being beheaded? Not to worry, I've taken care of the setup, and the axe man is on the way! I look forward to reading Titlights' write up on the experiment's outcome.
12  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomemod Request Thread on: 2016 January 13, 21:37:49
I'm educated and capable of logical thought so would likely be able to comprehend a REAL answer to my AM question.

You continue to provide evidence that this is not true. The REAL answer has already been provided, which is something you would know if your assertion had any merit.
13  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomemod Request Thread on: 2016 January 13, 16:08:08
And, with you being so smart, what is the answer to the actualy question?

The fact that you don't know why using Origin is bad explains why no one is going to answer your question; you don't know enough to understand the answer.
14  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomemod Request Thread on: 2016 January 13, 03:22:19
Apparently I have no control whatsoever. Oh well, no surprise there....  Smiley

You're using Origin, which voids your warranty. No one is going to feel sorry for you.

On a side note, I had one of those moments where something that was painfully obvious finally dawned on me; of COURSE Titlights uses Origin. Installing it is the stupidest thing anyone can do with their gaming computer.

ETA: Okay, may it's not the number one, all-time stupidest thing, but it's certainly top five.
15  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomemod Request Thread on: 2016 January 09, 18:25:00
Nope. Because context.
16  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomemod Request Thread on: 2016 January 08, 03:12:41
You're guessing incorrectly.

That error seems to indicate something is malformed in the household data, as the error occurs in an unmodified EAxian function. I have added a sanity check to that to see if that helps.
17  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread on: 2015 December 11, 15:45:02
Are you using any Twallan mods? I forget which ones do it and I can't check right now, but some of them mess with the AM functionality when ctrl and shift clicking.
18  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread on: 2015 December 11, 02:46:26
Have you verified that AM is working in general? Does the config come up when you're in the game?
19  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2015 December 07, 06:10:09
Hello, does someone have all the Store Hair and maybe Clothes bundled together?
I don't want to install all those Objekts from the packs just to get the Hair thats included, I don't really like the objects and don't want to stuff the game with objects I won't use just to get the Hair...

CC Magic may be able to help you weed out what you don't want.
20  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread on: 2015 December 04, 17:08:14
Don't worry about the male hair, there is DLC to fix it.
21  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: dll file? on: 2015 November 04, 23:43:25
I remember the potential of Creatures and the degeneration of the game to those people who wanted pretty not interesting.

I think at this point we should all be singing with Kermit - The urge is righteous but the face is wrong . . .

The lack of correct punctuation, it burns us!
22  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: dll file? on: 2015 November 04, 04:05:02
Nine out of ten sad clowns agree, having no one to spork is less fun than having someone to spork. Sometimes, fishing is about baiting the water and waiting for the schools to feel safe coming near the surface again, and all it takes is one loud noise to spook all that tasty cod.
23  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: dll file? on: 2015 November 03, 15:01:38
Several things have gone wrong here, starting with the thread title. A good title is descriptive without being verbose. This one does not meet that criteria. Second, we don't care if you are not tech savvy. The internet exists so that non-savvy people can become savvy. Finally, I see the word Origin in your post. That may indicate that you are beyond all hope.

The manual is old because Pescado is old. The old framework will still work, but requires a bit of know how (and I do mean a very little bit) or knowledge of how to search and read. As we are not in the habit of being overly helpful, I will leave this hint:

If only there were some place with instructions on how to mod any Sims game. What am I saying? Even if such a place existed, there would be no way to find it.
24  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: How to Properly Patch the Game? on: 2015 October 29, 20:38:22
There aren't enough lulz in this thread. 1 out of 10; would not spork again.

Teal deer.

Is this a question or a guide? Either way, it's not very good.
