I leave the "move objects" too on - very convenient to delete unwanted guests, lol.
But when in Build Mode, you have to turn off the "moveobjects", to be able to replace doors and windows.
Don't use at all the diagonal cheat, so can't tell.
I know you have to turn it off the place doors and windows, other than that I leave it on. I've just heard leaving it on can cause problems and wondered what kinds of problems, if any. |

I've read where it is not a good idea to leave cheats on. Is that just the testing cheat or does that apply to all cheats. I leave 'move objects' and 'allow45degree' on most of the time. Will it cause problems with the game?

Once you put objects into a collection can you delete it from the regular catalog or will that delete it completely from the computer?

I had them adopt a child, then I got the option to 'try for baby' and tried it just to see if she would. I set her back to adult, she had the baby, then I returned her to an elder. Haven't played that house since but will soon.

Shadow, How is Coral doing? I wonder, since the elders are not supposed to be in a pregnant state physically, like the teens, do they not show at all and/or do they walk around naked, too?
I set her back to adult via the InSimenator so she could have the baby (girl). As an elder she never did anything after the initial morning sickness, no tummy, no naked (thankfully) not even the pregnant walk. |

I had the inteenimator (?sp) but I removed it a couple of days ago. For some reason, I still have all the options. Anyway, the InSimenator's reproduction mod says she's pregnant but it's been 5 days and no baby. I guess we know why. Thanks all.

Has anyone had this happen? I got the option to 'try for baby" so I did. Now, she's pregnant and has morning sickness. They're elders! How is this possible. On the age bar it shows his as 5 days old and her as 3 days old. Is this a glitch in my game? I'm anxious to see if she gets a belly.

I'm not sure what happened. I developed the problem one lot at a time. So, as a fix I updated my video driver and it helped, temporarily, then came back. I rolled back the driver to a previous version, actually, I completelly uninstalled the card and reinstalled it and now everything seems to be working. I also turned my game settings all to low or medium.

I tried this last night using the Woodland Chapel from the official TS2 site and the mobile phone hack from MTS2 mentioned earlier in this thread. It worked perfectly, the only problem was that out of the 18 guests invited to the wedding, only 2 were left when the actual ceremony took place, even though I'd set it to allow up to 30 visitors. That's the problem with community lots, Sims come and go. Next time I will change the lot to residential while the wedding is going on, then change it back when it's time for them to go home. Incidentally, although all the wedding paraphernalia is present on these wedding lots, you can get modded collections of residential stuff to use on commercial lots. I forget where now, either MTS2 or Various Simmers.
I teleport everyone I want there, make them selectable with the InSimenator and turn off free will so everyone stays where I put them. |

I think your idea is the best. I love the idea too of having a grave-yard there, and if you have a day time wedding, ghosts won't bother your guests. I think a wardrobe too on the lot would be good to make sure people can change into their formal gear via the mind control mirror.
The teleporter is Inge's one?
Hopefully I'll to play sometime this week. Hubbie had a spit on the weekend because I played for a few hours while the toddler was asleep. I hadn't played for a whole week prior to that! Talk about cheated!

I've never had any ghosts at a wedding. I do make a "reception hall" that includes a wardrobe, restrooms with showers, buffet table, stereo, bar, anything that would make a good wedding reception. I have Inge's teleporter but I use the InSimenator because you can make everyone selectable and they stay that way unlike the Mind Control mirror where they only stay selectable as long as they are the selected one. |

I uninstalled my video card, again (third time) and re-downloaded CEP, just in case, and it seems to be working now. For how long remains to be seen. Thanks, ZephyrZodiac

I did that when just one item turned blue but this is everything and it flashes like a strobe light constantly, the whole picture, not just one item.

I'm curious what would happen if you built a church on a residential lot with a live-in minister. You could teleport in the participants, then use the mind control mirror to get one of them to initiate the wedding.
I may have to experiment with this. Oddly enough, none of my sims has gotten married yet. Hmmm.
I really think Maxis is missing a lot of money by not making a wedding expansion. I think that would sell incredibly well.
I did that. I used the InSimenator to teleport them and make them all selectable, also turned off free will so everyone would stay put. I take Sims there that are about to die of old age so I also have a cemetary there. I aslo have Sunday services there with the minister using the podium and his wife plays the piano. |

Help. All of a sudden everything started "flashing". It's hard to describe but one minute I was playing and then everything turned bright and started flashing. I updated my video card driver and I thought that solved it but then it started again. It does it in all houses on all lots. Any ideas?? I took a video of it, how do I get it on here?

Is there a hack that makes columns go down with walls. There was one in TS1. I like columns when building but not when playing, they are in the way. Thanks
