Just check you dont have 2 x N001's in your folder

Once you get it back, keep an eye on it.  I had a dissapearing mailbox so I kept exiting without saving and going back in to see if it was reproducable or not, and it was.  Every time I got my sim to sit down and read from the cinderblocks bookcase (the elcheapo block one) it would go *poof* and dissapear.  I deleted said bookcase and replaced it with slightly more expensive one and no more problems.  It's quite possible its the same scenario with your bin, give it a try.

You can also click on the item (i think it was) and get your sim to "set price for item"

I had one just after my shop opened and I didn't know who she was and I got a bad review.  I mean gimme a break my poor sim was still trying to learn how to work the cash register.

I'm lucky my hubby isnt into computers he'd rather watch sports.  Bought him foxtel so he can watch what he wants and
I have Sim time!

So far (touch wood) I have been able to

1. save my sim at her business
2. travel to work via car
3. use the mind control mirror to control employees
4 hang my sims deed on the wall of her shop

all without problems..I wonder if maybe because I chose a lot in pleasantview not downtown to create her business?

No apparently its adults too, one simmer had a pregnat female sim she made in cas stole something from her other sims shop

I haven't seen her back yet, thing is I have noticed bags lying on the footpath near the portal and thats why I watched this girl leave the lot to see if she dropped the bag at the portal, but no she walked right through bag still in hand

someone suggested that at the bbs, problem being if you call them and they don't see the problem they will fine your sim.

Yeah mine keeps sneaking out to put soap powder in her own fountain and the shop is crammed!!

I wonder if this is where the stolen stuff is going???  Have you had shoplifters?

Update: Nope just checked, I have no stolen items in my sims inventory 

Mine was similar, I saw the girl take the painting (my sim was only one on registers), she had her little shopping bag and walked off the lot, bag in hand, but never paid for it.

Anyone have a fix?

Brilliant!!

I have sims go off to classes in their pjs..it seems to be a fairly random act.  Funny thing is sometimes they come back in their normal clothes, did they go shopping while they were off the lot?
