I'm pretty sure someone did, either Paladin or JFade, I can't recall.  Use your google-fu.

Those aren't defaults. Those are custom.

Then you didn't remove all cc did you?  It looks like an issue that a lot of custom "realistic" skins have.  Dontcha know it can't be realistic without eyebags and a skin disease.

OK, I'm going to admit to only skimming your post because it was hard to read, but maybe this'll help, maybe not.

I have an Nvidia GeForce 8500 1gb card and had BSOD issues with Vista and Norton, even with norton disabled. I had to uninstall it completely to make them go away. (New machine less than 4 months old now)

I don't recall ever being able to choose childrens undies with the clothing tool.  I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be that way.

Is there any chance someone could take a look at this one:

Hackdiff says it may need updates and I miss it  Undecided

Not that I'm trying to make anyone sound or look stupid, but I was having the same trouble, until I found it comes under propose when you click on the sim.

Here's the logs from the two dogs. (Sally is the dog in the large/small pair and Hillary is the dog in the large/large pair.  Thanks for looking Smiley

Edit to add these logs were produced in my normal play game with all hacks/mods and CC as I normally play, although as already stated removing all hacks/mods/cc the dogs still don't have the puppies.

I'm actually having serious problems with pet pregnancy, I have two dogs who's pregnancies seem "stuck", both have been pregnant for more than a sim week and no puppies.

One is a big/small dog pairing one is a big/big dog pairing.  I have tried forcing errors with debug to reset them, I have tried the tombstone of L & D (but there is no speed up pregnancy for pets).  I've tried moving the family out and back into the same lot, and out and into a brand new just placed, never been built on or played on lot. I have taken out all mods/hacks, and all CC.

The chimes played for both dogs and the try for puppies option has disappeared, and the pets refuse to go to work since "someone as pregnant as me should stay home and rest"  In one family it's a single male sim and two dogs, on another lot it's a single father with a teen, a child, and two dogs so space shouldn't be an issue in either case.

However another big/big dog pair, and a cat pairing, on different lots both had their litters without incident, and looking around several forums I don't seem to be the only one who has this issue either.  I'd appreciate any advice and can provide error logs if wanted/needed.

I'm having problems with this hack. When I use it, the sim I call shows up on the lot.

I'm also getting this when using the call...friends/family/targets tey talk to the phone for a few minutes and then *bam* the sim is on the lot, no jump-bug type resets on the phone user though, they just hang up, turn around and start socialising face to face.
10  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Overstuffed Lot Hack for Pets? on: 2006 October 26, 09:33:41
I've put them into my userstartup.cheat file with the numbers set to 20 and while I am able to merge families in the hood view, and try for a baby, and get a pet from the phone adoption or the pet store, I couldn't marry/move in/adopt a stray over the 8/6/10 limit.
11  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Pet pregnancy questions on: 2006 October 25, 03:10:02
I think it's just a glitch Chee-z, I got that trying to move in, in a regular hood, a sim who didn't have any pets, not a womrat or a bird, or even fish, she did have a baby, maybe that counts as a pet, but hardly a pregnant one.
12  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: AutoYakYak Macro Phone Caller (01/29/06) on: 2006 October 24, 13:52:38
for one or two families I can see those might be factors, but is definately not the case for every lot in my hood, I've tried different lots at different times of day and different days of the week, none of then can call/family.

Specifically one lot where the adult female in the family has two siblings, eight children, 18 grandchildren, and eight nieces/nephews of ages ranging from child - adult (including YA), every lot has at least a normal telephne, some sims have cell phones, relationships range from fairly high eighties down to almost zero.  And she can't call/family at any time of day or any day of the week, when at least someone should be home and therefore callable.
13  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: AutoYakYak Macro Phone Caller (01/29/06) on: 2006 October 24, 13:33:18
All my lots have lost the Call/family option.  The call/friends and call/targets are there but not family, did I miss an update where it was intentionally removed or is something strange happening in my game?
14  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Fed up of naked babies can any body help? on: 2006 September 01, 01:44:15
That mesh is actually mine, I've never heard of it stopping working like that, I've been using it since I first made it back before Uni was released.

I don't know if or how the sim modder has broken it like that, nor do I have any ideas how to fix it, I'll have a look into it and see if I can recreate the problem is my test game and try and find a solution from there.

Ste,

Yes I was just using inteen, the back to school flavour pack conflicts with the bring friends dialog anyway, it says that on both the inteen site and the bring friends thread.

The child in that error log I don't recall offhand if they are in private school or not (from where they live in my hood it's quite probable they are, but may not be) but I had the same problem with public school as well.
17  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Child coming home from school at the wrong time on: 2006 August 28, 15:47:53
The currently available version of what?

Of no frat?  I wasn't using it.  Of the school bus thing, there is only one version of the combined one isn't there?  Inteen?  I have the update as of July 9th. Of the GAME? I may not trust Maxis but I've still patched. Huh
18  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Child coming home from school at the wrong time on: 2006 August 28, 15:28:09
I do have inteen, but not the back to school flavour pack, the flavour oack isn't compatible with TJ's original dialog.

Actually, I do have an error log from this, which is what prompted me to go back to using Jeffs original and ditching no frat, because although I have had the problem for a while and tried a few different things and combinations of switching mods in and out this was one mod I had never considered as being a problem.
19  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Child coming home from school at the wrong time on: 2006 August 27, 03:04:31
Out of curiosity, do you have the combined Bring Friends school bus dialog and No fraterniation that Syberspunk posted in the School Bus Bring Friends thread?

Because I noticed that I was having children "appearing" home more often than not when their teen siblings arrived home and while I'm not saying this mod caused it, removing it and replacing it with TJ's original mod solved the problem, I suspect the combined version doesn't play nice with something else I have in my hacks folder and maybe this is your problem.
20  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Stuck Open Doors on: 2006 July 04, 03:03:44
um, why are you doing move Objects to remove and replace the door?  Can you not just remove it normally in build mode?
21  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: When building, why do windows disappear (but not really)? on: 2006 June 29, 23:15:32
Eh, it used to happen to me a lot too, as far as I'm aware it's a graphics issue, I often had the windows of upper floors go like that, but sice upgrading, well, almost my entire PC is doesn't happen anymore.
22  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: blinking red/black walls on: 2006 June 29, 12:28:50
Lemme help out here.

Translation:

I bought and installed Family Fun Stuff without reading the system requirements all because I wanted Jellyfish lamps.

My Video Card sucks and I have the known issue with FFS of flashing walls

I made a video of the flashing walls with the ingame camera, but when I uninstalled FFS, it deleted the video.

Can this be fixed so I can have Jellyfish Lamps.

Which is fair, and I'm not saying it is a bad thing, however it really isn't fair to write off another creator because they don't go to those lengths themselves.

At the end of the day it isn't the creators job to ensure they all work together and if you (the proverbial you here, not Blue you) as a downloader can't be bothered to "troubleshoot" or report bugs and conflicts then how can you blame the creators.

No one can conceivably test every mod with every other, some try their best to inform of conflicts they know about, some don't even bother with that stating only that this mod or that mod will work with other mods of their own creation, neither approach is wrong, or even more right than the other.

I just feel that slating creators out of an apathy in yourself to check, detect, and report is wrong.  Everyone can make mistakes.
