1026  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Store Items Becoming Black Spheres/Blobs on: 2011 February 15, 15:04:14
I think this is an issue when you use something like clara's stencils, only you use the wrong ones. When I first tried using them I used the non decrap version and those black orbs is what I got, they were right next to the actual item. So maybe you have other store content fixes or changes that do not match the ones you have installed.
1027  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: A serious error has occurred... on: 2011 February 13, 14:24:56
So first its AM's fault, then Ea's. How about PEBCAK.
1028  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Black loading screen after reformat/reinstall on: 2011 February 11, 06:26:51
First off, the only two times I recommended 3booter were in cases in which the game was not getting past the loading screen. Which is what it does, not to mention it can't hurt to try.
Second, "hence why?" Really?
1029  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Black loading screen after reformat/reinstall on: 2011 February 10, 19:37:45
Ah, no, if your PC is giving you the BSOD its for a reason, it just doesn't happen. Whether it's Sim related or not. Maybe her HDD is going out on her, maybe its something she wouldn't even think of. As for Cwurts, it's not my fault no one else seems to have a sense of humor.
1030  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Black loading screen after reformat/reinstall on: 2011 February 10, 15:28:52
Don't believe anything you read over at the BBS. Also you don't just get BSOD for no reason. I've used this forum anytime I've needed help and they've always been spot on and fast about it. Have you tried using 3Booter?

So just for reference sake, whens the last time you patched? Could your problem be really bad CC? Are these sims packed with non game clothing? Try running it through custard, see what comes up. Maybe try deleting any CC from the package.
1032  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Good versions but AM doesn't working on: 2011 February 08, 14:30:27
AM has been updated but Pescado apparently did not bother to update the thread. Just redownload

El Presidente doesn't have to announce every update, it's your job to check. Sometimes it changes daily, why do you think AM has an expiration date?
1033  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Good versions but AM doesn't working on: 2011 February 07, 22:51:21
The new AM is out, use it.
1034  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2011 February 07, 19:38:35
^Well right off the bat you need to fully patch your game, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. That is IF you want any type of actual help. I would doubt it has anything to do with missing EPs/SPs since the sliders are in the patc...oh, wait. See where this is going?
1035  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Facts & Strategery / Re: WA Neighbourhoods on: 2011 February 07, 13:30:32
It works flawlessly.

Am I the only one who heard a gong of doom as I read that?

No gong, but I processed it just like this (including visual):

"Yer just 'ave ter make sure that yer edit the world from a fresh Chas'n'Dave and never let any sims do anyfink in it before yer Chas'n'Dave it. If yer take a sim there and so much as rabbit and pork ter anuvver sim, yer can't properly transfer it over. So just start a new game, go ter edit tahn, right, edit the world yer want ter edit, and only move a sim over if yer want ter edit the bloody sims in the hood- but do not, right, do not, absolutely do not let the chuffin' sim do anyfink but stand still in one spot.

"It works florlessly."

Where do you come up with this shit, fucking brilliant.

@semianon - Good snarky response, only I think you missed the point of my post you quoted.

@TinyBear - You got reamed for doing the work for them, you left them no work but to come back to whine when decrapping didn't work for them. I'm simply suggesting where to look for their answer. Which did little to no good since they just played the "Y U SO MEEN" card and totally looked over my advice. This is what happens when I'm in a good mood and decide to actually halp someone, nevar again.

You're not sorry and you couldn't have looked very hard. Where did you find these store items? Look there for your answer.

If only someone had hinted as to where to find decrapping instructions.

I also use my flatscreen as my moniter and have no problems with stretching or small icons. I use the 5:3 resolution and it nearly almost takes up the whole screen.

When I "install" the content, it always shows me a success message, but once I play the game, the items aren't there. I don't know if that helps my sorry case at all. And I am sorry for the n00b question, as you "elitists" are too busy for less intelligent people who need genuine help. I did state that I looked for an answer, and I have been looking for a while. But hey, if I appear too stupid for you to help, then that's fine by me. I don't get why everyone has to be so rude when there are stupid people in need of help. I apologise for wasting your time. I didn't realise I was such a mindless idiot for asking for help when I needed it. :\

Stop feeling sorry for yourself, I TOLD YOU WHERE TO LOOK!

...it could happen even if you have them all.

Or, if you're doing it wrong.
1042  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: High resolution = Prettier game, but impossible to navigate catalog- Workaround? on: 2011 February 06, 00:34:17
I actually like the antlers, would never use them, but I like them, unless of course I was recreating that one Fall Out Boy video.

Let it whine, it'll eventually get cheese, or poked.
1044  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Steam on: 2011 February 05, 15:44:50
OK, how about this. All faith in your abilities have been lost because you say "2. Every Sims 3 EXP and Stuff Pack including base game for $89? Why would I pass that deal up?" Since ya know, MATY is all about the pirating.

Blah Blah Blah, it's doing it wrong.

You're just trying to get to 50 now.

I am now.

How many threads are you going to muck up? Learn how to follow directions.
1047  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2011 February 05, 06:25:24
i tried to download the Future shock set from here, and i got an error message telling me to update my game...  i have the latest patch.. why does it say that for? Sad

That's very common with sims3packs. EA has less idea how their code works than some modders. Quite a few modders.

If you tried to install the sims3pack, don't. Use a package. There's one available in this very thread, or, if you're up to it, run the sims3pack through Delphy's Sims 3 Pack Multi-Extracter. It's available at Mod The Sims.

If you're going to be using mods or custom content at all (including EA store content) it will serve you well to learn how the game works and how to use some basic tools. Google, read, google, read, google, read.

Blah Blah Blah, it's doing it wrong.
1048  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Outdoor Living Shit on: 2011 February 05, 01:48:28
I refuse to get this until I know CAW works with it, and AwesomeMod does. I have it sitting on my PC from being Arrrrghed, but yah not installing.

Try doing some reading, it has already been posted that a test version is available, and has been for a few days, and also that an updated CAW is available.  You're way behind the times.

Aren't they always though?
1049  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Outdoor Living Shit on: 2011 February 04, 03:04:02
I buy them then sell them on ebay, I almost always get what I paid for them back. I've lost all respect for SPs along time ago.
