I think my butler eats the paper. My sims never even get a chance to read it.

There's an option in story progression to replace service sims with ACTUAL sims, and then you can use register to assign which non active sims run the stores.

Well it wasn't so much the Story Progression of the mod that I missed as all the notifications you could get if you wanted.

Thank you for pointing out my stupid about the phone thing, I always thought silence phone just got rid of the ringtone.

...Are you saying my computer doesn't agree with me when I cackle and say "DANCE PUPPETS DANCE!"? I'm crushed. Truly crushed.

Thanks for the response though, I really enjoy AwesomeMod, though I always miss that other story progression mod that came out shorty after TS3 but quickly stopped getting updated. I think it was called indie story progression or something. Ramble.

If I did then hopefully I wouldn't have made a thread asking for the answer to a question that I already knew. So, no.

If you want to be completely safe, maybe you should just start a new game and test it there? I doubt anyone here will do it for you.
Didn't really expect someone to do it for me, just figured I would ask in case someone already had and knew the result. I'll probably make a new game and test it out but I figured I would give this thread a day.

No particular reason, I'm just a bit paranoid that since it wipes the relationship memories so cleanly it might wipe the evidence too, like a baby from someone you never remember even kissing.
9  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: The Sims 2 Vs. The Sims 3 on: 2012 February 06, 11:03:55
I would go with The Sims 3, just my opinion. I've tried going back to TS2 certain things you can't do just sort of start ruining it.

But you also have to consider, How much CC do you want?

TS3 has a good amount of CC by now, but TS2 has that metric shit ton of CC that has built up over time.

You didn't use the search function at all, did you? Or even Google it? No? That's what I thought.

I was wondering if anyone has tested out something about the Clean Slate lifetime reward. It works(supposedly) by wiping all the recorded days of your Sims relationships, but has anyone by chance tried using it when one or several female Sims involved with your Sim were pregnant?

I was bored and decided to have my Sim woo and impregnate all the women in a family, and at some point I know it's going to bite me in the ass. I want the pregnancies to continue because my town is underpopulated and they're all decently made Sims with desirable traits and they can certainly afford/have the space to support the kids.

So does anyone know if the Clean Slate lifetime reward destroys any pregnancies created by the relationships?

Would it be possible for there to be a new Supreme Commander option that would make your sim randomly visit public lots during the day and bars/clubs at night after paying attention to base needs? I want to be able to leave my sim alone for a while but not have him sit in the house or work all day while the rest of the world ceases to exist for him.

Also could there be an option to disable hang out/chat phone calls? That way I could completely leave my sims alone for a horrible amount of time and come back to see how much of the house they burned down without phone calls pausing the game on me.
13  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AM Noob - What am I doing wrong? on: 2012 February 05, 20:03:44
It should read:

PackedFile Packages/*.package

and so on. The name that comes after PackedFile is supposed to be the name of the FOLDER you put the .package files in.
14  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Pudding Factory is for downloads: put your lame requests & WCIFs here on: 2012 February 03, 12:14:44
I've found a mod that does this, but its outdated to the point where it was made when TS3 first came out, so I figured I would ask here.

Can anyone make or WCIF an updated/working mod that increases Burglar activity?

I have never seen a burglar since I started playing TS3 and I've been playing it on and off since it came out. Houses barely catch fire even when I try to make them, I want some misfortune!

Where Can I find a Life/Death Mod(Allows me to kill sims in any of the possible ways and/or make ghosts from graves) that is updated and works with 6.0? I know if two on MTS but they're both out of date so the bug that causes your game to crash if you try to select them in Buy mode makes them useless until updated. I really want the revive a sim from a grave into a ghost part more.

Thanks. It only said 5.2 on the front page so I wasn't sure.
17  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The Birth Control Mirror on: 2010 November 10, 15:05:51
Is this going to be updated for 6.0+? My 'hood is so dead I doubt even zombie jeebus could make it suck less. I actually did THERAPTURE with only 1 sim as a chosen one and the exact crappy amount of sims came back.
18  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Bridgeport With Cribs (And Ceilings) on: 2010 November 10, 14:43:14
I only realized after reading this thread that I have NEVER seen a kid in Bridgeport yet younger than a teenager. And I only ever saw two or three teenagers.

There are some. The Striker and Hemlock families both have a toddler. And there's two kids; Deirdre Littler and Jupiter Belle. There's around 6 teens, I think.
My first time using brigeport(before using the save) I never even knew the toddlers existed, or the little kids, only the teens. Honestly I think I might install an additional non conflicting fertility mod because my town is so boring dead. Even when a club is "the hotspot" Theres never more than 3 people.

The following question may be stupid, worthless or just simple and in need of answering. Feel free to throw ridicule and flaming feces.

I have several mods installed including awesomemod(configured via the online configuration tool) and all of them work, except awesomemod. Awesomemod previously worked for me, but I am not sure when it was working or which expansions/stuff packs I had installed at the time. None of the Mods I do have installed right now should conflict with awesomemod and I really do miss the awesomeness of awesomemod, so I would appreciate some help or random theory flinging. Or Flaming Feces. Everyone loves the Flaming Feces.

Basically my question is: How did I fuck up when I haven't really done anything except follow the install instructions?

Additionally the command "showconfig" does not work in the game, which is what makes me think awesomemod isn't working at all.

Specifics: I have all EPs and SPs so far installed, installed awesomemod via the instructions and followed the post by Simius here http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,18793.0.html

Update That You Don't Care About: I figured out what my problem was and fixed it but I am going to leave this post here so you can all yell at me, because I know you love to.
