I am concerned that this is turning into a "Peggy's Worst Hits" thread.

That would actually be the point of it.
So I see now.  Certainly, though, there must be SOMEONE nearly as bad as peggy.

There's Newsea. And Rose's hair is sometimes pretty bad. But nothing really approaches Peggy for awfulness. She is like Tiger Woods at his peak, before all the hookers. Everyone else was just playing for second place.

Can you imagine how much MOAR HAIR there would be if they took the hats off?

So you're saying that the hair acts as some kind of force field to protect us from even moar hair? That suggests that not only is Peggy aware of this problem, she's created a situation were hair is growing uncontrollably in a lab somewhere, like The Blob in that B-movie from the 50s; only larger and larger hats will contain it. Eventually we will run out of hats, however. No hat will be big enough! NOT EVEN PEGGYHATS!

To fight this threat we must FREEZE the hair and ship it to the NORTH POLE!

The top one looks like the 1992 version of Meg Ryan just woke up, and the bottom one is just insanely disproportionate to anything approaching normal.

On the other hand, at least it's not one of her stupid HATS.

Steam is not supported.

Don't vampire bars and the movie studio create vampires and celebrities, respectively?  I added both to Twinbrook, taking no other action, and have vampires and celebrities all over the damn place.

That's because you play without AM.

WHY WOULD YOU ENABLE THAT HAIR FOR MEN?  WHYYYYYYYYYYY?!?!

I like to think that Claeric slipped her a sawbuck or something.

/Insert snappy Samuel L Jackson macro which I can't actually post because I am at school saying:

ENGLISH MOTHERFUCKER DO YOU SPEAK IT

Wait, you're telling me that's not Samuel L. Jackson? OK, whatevs.

It's kind of ridiculous. Sims have cellphones and computers. Why can't they have electronic banking? And by that I mean: why must they drive all the way across town simply to "collect profit"?
Because people don't find threats to their kneecaps terribly credible over the phone? How exactly did you THINK profit got collected?

Your world is a wonderful and frightening world, Pescado.

The other emulates a typical 12 year old boy. Like actual 12s, it possesses almost no intelligence whatsoever, but armed with poor spelling and punctuation, and a homophobic insult generator, it can create dialogue utterly indistinguishable from an actual 12.

It's RapeLlama, isn't it?

You should be able to collect one's earnings either via cell phone or via map view. Unless using a computer allows one to collect the earnings all at once.

Ah, I forgot about the phone. After giving it a try tonight, it looks like I can only collect my earnings one place at a time. For some reason I thought that I could collect them all by using the computer, but now that I think about it, it was probably an AM feature that existed before EA took the ownership certificates out and came up with this more cumbersome system instead.

It's kind of ridiculous. Sims have cellphones and computers. Why can't they have electronic banking? And by that I mean: why must they drive all the way across town simply to "collect profit"? They clearly don't live in 1975. There are no bell-bottoms!

You're also double-posting. Don't do that, either.

If it were on Mac, it would be five potatoes.
Also they would be SHINY.

A polished potato?   I doubt even the MythBusters could pull that off.

You should study potatoes more closely. They're trickier than you think.

That is a fucking hideous shirt. Does anyone not named "Blaine" or "Chad" from an early 80s John Hughes movie still wear their sweater tied around their shoulders like that?

*jeromycraig sadly unties his sweater from around his shoulders and lets it drop to the floor*  Sad

a computer in the house without having the entire household swarming towards it to play computer games or chat online. Does such a thing exist?

Does such a thing exist in real life, even?
69  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomod discussion/questions/helpful tips thread on: 2011 February 27, 00:31:41
Do you really expect us to believe that EAxis managed to get it right this time and made it work like it is supposed to?

No, but it doesn't break in exactly the same way as it used to.

THOSE POTATOES WOULD BE AWESOME AND WOULD TOTALLY GET YOU LAID.

Also they would be SHINY.

Isn't moving a fambly to a new hood a Very Bad Idea?

Wut man? They fixed that whole broken system, which is part of the reason your sims don't have memories now and can't remember who they first kissed and whatnot. The family tree was also simplified, in ways that are beyond my ken.

The only thing is now you get random CTDs when you try to actually place an exported fambly, but at least it won't corrupt whatever neighborhood you're trying to move it to.

When you bought your overpriced and overrated Mac

Fuck off!

73  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Mac help for a noob on: 2011 February 23, 23:06:02
Hey everyone, I know that you're probably going to ignore me

Where would be the fun in that?

Anyway, I don't believe you searched very thoroughly as this is a question that comes up all the time. The hint is already in this thread, if you're clever enough to find it.

I don't have a mac, but do they use the same file system syntax?

Yes. Everything inside the .app file replicates the Windows file structure, at least for purposes of framework and mods and such.

Oh, you'd love to hear that from me don't you?  I only tell people to shut up by action, usually involving a fist to the balls of the guy who's pissing me off.  You'd better buy yourself a steel codpeice Jeromy.

Heavens, an Internet Tough Person! Protect me, I feel faint.
