Oh, no, not the conspiracy theories again - ever think that somebody might just be referencing Moby Dick?

Yes, but where's the fun in that?

DO YOU ALSO HAVE SOME THINGS TO TELL ME ABOUT SANTA CLAUS? HMMMMMMM?
27  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: The Sims Medieval on: 2011 March 24, 01:03:17

OK, EAxis spy better gotta do some fessing up.
28  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Sims 3 Motive Decay Project- WIP Looking for feedback and input. on: 2011 March 24, 00:58:18
So I'm trying to make things drop faster so you have to spend more time dealing with motives. I don't want my sims to be able to stand and fish at the river for 15 hours straight before they finally have enough bad moodlets that they refuse to do it anymore.

I've stood and fished at the river for 15 hours straight before and my mood never goes down much. You should try it sometime: it's very relaxing. Maybe if you did that you wouldn't complain about stupid things in games that don't seem to bother anyone else in the world.

Your game is obviously haunted.

EVERY MALE PEGGY HAIR EVER:

Next month, reverse the direction of the bangs, color it green or white, and sell it again.

Oh, be fair: some of them look like this.

(That look of horror on the child's face is exactly the look I would have if that thing crawled on my head.)
31  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: The Sims Medieval on: 2011 March 23, 18:10:40
There are expansion packs for this thing? I thought Stories games were one-shots.

The first expansion will be The Sims Medieval: All About Bladders!

I agree about the 2D feel.  When I was playing it, I felt like Sims 1 met Sims Castaway, had a child and named it Medieval.

And yet, despite looking like shit and barely having any meat in the codebase, it runs nowhere near as smoothly as my fully patched, all-EP, all-SP, mega-modded and CC'd TS3 install! WEIGH TO GO EA!

32  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: The Sims Medieval on: 2011 March 23, 09:47:20
Anyone tried opening the game packages with s3pe yet?  Is it compatible with the modding tools available?

I get a lot of unhandled exception errors with s3pe and the TSM build packages. Not on everything, but on plenty of stuff just selecting it in s3pe brings the error.

This game is fairly bizarre, btw.
33  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Door/windows stop showing through walls... and crash on: 2011 March 21, 22:28:19
No, Inge is right: you've broken it. Your next step should definitely be fixing it.

That nobody in the world would find chocolate fish (especially singing chocolate fish) romantic.

You have probably never lived in Arkansas.
35  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Can my game be better if I upgrade my machine? on: 2011 March 18, 18:54:44
Just because a game wont use all of the available system resources doesn't mean you can't or shouldn't add them.

It still won't make your PUDDING BETTER, which is the ACTUAL QUESTION BEING ASKED IN THIS THREAD.

Strangel please tell me that's some kind of pimped or fake food.

It's chocolate in the shape of a Billy Bigmouth Bass. With a metallic wrapper.

What were you expecting?

I fail at what? And the only reason I posted it here is because it didn't start until awesomemod was installed.

Stealing. You are bad at stealing. You are also bad at words, and reading them.

You will make a fine Senator, indeed.

You're not already?

Awe, Cwurts loves me.

GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF!

It is a love that you can't wash off, Skadi. I would look into an exorcist.

Well, all right: I guess Newsea deserves a mention.

You probably have Tsunami Mode turned on.
43  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Try for a baby with family members? on: 2011 March 11, 17:49:27
Heya
im searching for a mod which makes it possible for family members (e.g. brother and sister) to try for baby and not just to woohoo as in the closer family mod. Thanks for every answer.

You should seek professional help for your obvious mental issues.  I shall be awaiting your thanks for this answer.

She's German, according to the email address. There's probably an entire section of the video store devoted to this fetish where she lives.

What little girl doesn't want to look just like...what the fuck is this? What is this supposed to be?

45  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: The Neverending Pause on: 2011 March 08, 11:20:46
The never-ending pause was an issue on anything under a quad core. With a quad, that pause only lasted a few seconds and with the i7 it was barely there at all.

[snip]

Honestly, anyone trying to play this game on less than a quad core, with 6Gig of RAM and a 4000 series ATI is asking for lag.

I've got a Core2 Duo, 4Gb RAM and a low-to-mid-range nVIDIA (9400m) and a fuckton of mods and lots of CC and I never get this pausing.
46  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Sim's Free Will Messed Up? on: 2011 March 07, 19:02:15
What can you suggest we do to help alleviate some of this pausing, and sims taking 10 human years to get in the car when going to work, get the clothes out of the laundry, get the mail, or anything else for that matter. I think my computer specs are pretty up to par, but if you want to know more about my computer in particular so you can make a suggestion I'll be happy to do so.

Are you playing on a Mac? If so you're screwed; everyone gets those pauses on a Mac, nothing you can do about it.
47  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2011 March 06, 03:00:17
Fair enough. I eventually got it to work simply by brute force and repeated effort. There's something wonky going on with 4shared and that particular file that keeps wanting to send it back to the countdown timer screen once you actually get to the download link. My advice for people having problems is to right-click the download link and open in a new tab until it pops correctly for you.
48  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Sims 2 and LAA on: 2011 March 06, 01:25:19
Since Sims 2 runs just fine without LAA, I see no reason you would need to make it so.

All the cool kids were doing it.
49  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2011 March 06, 01:24:08
Moryrie, Part 5 of your store sets (StoreHair2, I believe) is returning an invalid link error from 4shared. Could be just a glitch on their end, I'll try it again later tonight to confirm.
50  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2011 March 03, 23:01:53
The bathroom set isn't that bad.  It would make a nice kids'/teen bathroom.  The living room set at least looks better than the hideous Future Shock Kitchen.  The clothing looks like something every stupid weeaboo on MTS will go apeshit over.
