On the other hand, it being a text file, it is faster to open it and look than to post a question about it. Yes.. because mindlessly downloading crap you don't recognize from people you don't trust is ALWAYS a good idea.

The file's RIGHT THERE. Why do you think it's imaginary?
I can put anything into a .txt - or a .zip for that matter - and declare it a reworked wheel. Telling an abstract snippet of information and waiting for your pat on the head isn't getting you anywhere. DESCRIBE, DAMMIT!

It's not worthwhile to do unless you're in dire need of disk space, which I am not. I just tested it by removing my Seasons CSBin and TSBin directories (I picked an EP at random); the game doesn't care, still starts, and has weather and Seasons objects. I know for a fact that the only thing the patch routines check outside the registry keys are the versioning structures on the executables; they do not do any sort of intelligent binary examination, so at worst a stub executable with a forged version data structure would be enough to satisfy the game. The Seasons binaries were only 32MB anyway (before UPX at that), so it's not like this is terribly useful.
If someone is THAT desperate (or in dire need) for space, uninstall a fucking EP/SP or delete CC and have a modicum of self control! I don't have anything past Seasons for exactly this reason. I KNOW my comp has space enough, but it doesn't have power enough. Rather than have it seize up, I keep my game at the level my computer is capable of. ..yeah, I removed the intro movie for the same reason. Ungodly annoying to be hovering at the computer, waiting for the first chance to click past it.

As an F, I can see wanting something, but fearing things related to that something. (Sim wants baby, but fears vomiting, changing nappies, etc. Wants to get married, but fears getting engaged to a specific sim, that sort of thing.) But I don't get simultaneously wanting and fearing the exact same thing.
Most things, I could agree with that. But after dealing with three mood swinging people through Wife's pregnancy (and me one of the three) I can totally understand. We were going from "We're gonna have a babby!" to "Oh dear gawd what were we thinking?!" and back in record time, nearly hourly.

Mmkay, so if I were to work on a MATY template would most people prefer a template based on the base game? Or would it be okay to assume a certain number of EPs or SPs? I know not everyone has the latest EPs, but generally, everyone here has up to Pets, yes?
Also, I would need moar CC-less MATYzens.
I have up to Seasons, with Holidays/Celebration, Glamour, H&M and Family Fun. No TSS, no Mansion & Gardens, Ikea or Kitchen & Bath. I think I also have a cc free copy of my simselves, or at least info on what to put them in. You have them, yes?

Poofs and I had problems with her meshes before. One of the military uniforms and the cheerleader outfit were both EXPLOSIVO! on fatty-ing. If s/he already knows about this mesh, it'll likely be fixed asap.

jesslla, these are great! Thanks! they'd be even moar betterer if you could find someone to animate them with the same animations as the "do crossword" so that MATYans really can play retardoh for logic points.

@ eevilcat: I don't have the stuff packs for this, which is a shame, as it looks just the sort of building I'd like. Those fountains are such a great alternative to the faux baroque stuff I'm stuck with.
Arrr!

I don't know what generation I am... At 23 years old (in non-pescadian years, that is), what would I be? X? Y? Something in between?
There are several, very different dates for classification of Gen X, and none of them reach past 1981, so I guess you're a Gen Y. Wonder what Gen 32-33 year old Non Pescadians fall into..

Is it possible to fix part of the hot tub? It's annoying having snow go under the water...
Or maybe disable the snow on it either entirely or at least while in use.. I've lived in snowy areas with a hot tub.. I don't recall seeing snow on the top of it when heated.

Print Screen button + standard Windows Paint. (I'd prefer to use GIMP, but it's been intolerably slow since installing my new tablet...)
Gadwin FTW. I no longer have to keep Paint/GIMP/PSP/Photoshop open while gaming to paste individual screenshots. I just set it to .bmp, gave it a folder to dump into, and go to town hitting Print Screen without worry.

Meh.. in my opinion, TSR challenges cause a problem. You're installing occupied lots for the challenges, yes? Occupied lots are VBT. I didn't know this when I tried out one of the TSR challenges and blew up my entire 'hood. Now, I feel lucky that all I lost was a starting-out 'hood. Blah to TSR. Blah to their bork-causing challenges.
Edit: For future reference, I know it's difficult and frustrating to deal with these problems. However, being an ass to those that are trying to help WILL cause them to ignore and/or poke with sharp pointies the next time you have a broken game.

My entry is finished and so is The Incubator's incubation! She's popped and we have a spiffy little female spawn. Due to having been up for over three days... I can't add my entry tonight. Might not get it in till after the first. HOWEVER... I will be dropping it off in case anyone would like a copy. Woo! -faceplants into bed-

No. You really don't. lol Husband's brother - a 12 (thirteen) - plays, too. Yeah, he buys most of the EPs that I'm using, but the thing is.. he comes to me with every glitch and assloads of "blueprints" for houses he'd like me to make for him. While he lived with us, I had the cringe-inducing pleasure of watching him do things like adding the Therapist to families, force sims to drown in the dirt (that one WAS pretty funny, though) and delete occupied lots.
