Greh.. It looks like I'll have at least a week's worth of non-intarwebz time to dedicate to working on these. We were supposed to be in Future Bunker by now (we signed off on the tenth with "you'll be in by the 13th!" promises) so intarwebz were supposed to be transfered on the 22nd. We're still here, so the new service doesn't go on in the other house. Bah.
Ah, well.. I can get more work done on rebuilding my long-ignored hood and make work on these foundations. I'll lock my office on the way out.

Not only no bathrooms, but no double beds, as Pes hasn't left room for them. Well, no, there are a few places that might be worth trying... gah, now I want to see if I can put useable double beds in it. Oh well, was about to reload the game for testing anyway.
Bed-in-hallway with doors on either side to let them in. ..not that I, you know, ever had to DO something like that.

Yeah, I know how MATY works. -points to laurels-
What do laurels mean? Do you get those in a cereal box? Laurels are one half of comedy duos, of which kikis are neither member. I'll be taking the info to Blue. If we end up getting that computer, I'll be sure to set up a backup on a different HD (we'll have three computers at that point, two HDs on one) and look around for a better graphics card. We knew this would basically be our next base to build up on.

This is the one Blue (Not Soup) picked out for me. Not sure when we could get it, but when I mention Sims 2 and wanting to add on all the EPs, SPs, and CC.. he brushes aside my concerns and says none of the New Shininess would get bogged down. I think I was mentioning the need for MOAR RAMS on my current Old Dimness. http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11380858&whse=BC&topnav=&browse=&lang=en-USProcessor & Memory: * Intel® Core™2 Quad Processor Q9300 (2.50GHz) * 6MB L2 cache * 1333MHz Front Side Bus * 4GB DDR2 SDRAM memory (2 x 2GB, shared) Drives: * 1TB (7,200RPM) SATA Hard Drive * 22x max DVD±RW dual layer optical drive * 19-in-1 Multimedia digital card reader Graphics & Video: * Integrated NVIDIA® GeForce® 7050 graphics Communications: * 10/100 Mbps Ethernet LAN Audio: * Integrated Realtek ACL662 6-Channel High-Definition Audio Codec * Multimedia Stereo Speakers (2 pieces) Keyboard & Mouse: * ZT Desktop Keyboard * ZT Optical Mouse Expandability (total): * Two 5.25" external (1 occupied) * Two 3.5" external (1 occupied) * Four 3.5" internal (1 occupied) * 1 x PCIe x16 * 1 x PCIe x1 * 2 x PCI Ports and Slots: * 6 x USB 2.0 ports (2 front, 4 rear) * 1 x RJ-45 (LAN) * 2 x PS/2 * 1 x Parallel port * 1 x Com port * 1 x VGA port * 6-Channel Audio I/O jacks Operating System & Software: * Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium (64-bit) * PCmover Essentials kit including software and USB cable * Norton Internet Security 2008 (90-day trial)

I don't start new accounts at places JUST to view someone else's screenshots. In fact, most of MATY doesn't. We all either buy/borrow server space, or use Imageshack or Photobucket. Neither of these require anyone to do more than click to view.

Good girl. A+
Now you move on to 50/50. Open a new folder on your desktop, move half your CC to that folder. Boot up. If it works, that half is safe, swap it with the other ha--- wait.. you have 7% space available on your harddrive? Try paring down your CC and removing any files/programs from your computer that you've gotten tired of or moved beyond. It may be that your computer can't run the game. In the past, I've had my game refuse to load because I hit some magic limit on my CC. If I removed a couple items, it'd load (though it still took forever). Also, keep in mind the more CC you have the LONGER it'll take to load the game. At the max, I had a wait time of about an hour to reach the neighborhood chooser screen.

Have you added a shit-ton of stuff to your computer since September?
Homework: Run a Disc Cleanup, Defrag your harddrive, and pull your ENTIRE CC folder. If it boots, shut down and put the CC back in. Turn in homework WITHOUT using OMGCAPSLOCK and maybe there can be some help made from there.

Crunk: Nope! I thoroughly playtest before offering. I forgot to include that info. lol It's cramped cozy, but I didn't have any issues with the Ramaswamis, their child, or their dog and cat. Yeah.. I kinda cheat them into a full-on family so I can better test crowd control. I don't have BV, so I have no idea if you can live in a vacation hood or bring pets to it, but this would work just as well in a typical 'hood for a screenshot scene. Same is true of my next one, a dinky little manshack.

Thanks, Tingeling & (possibly?) Alex. I ended up deciding on a contemporary-ish country cottage. I only have up to Seasons, so I didn't have the tent, spiral stairs, and the like to put up, but I figured I could make a setup that would be forward-planned. Personally, I'm still snickering about the exterior. I wiped everything, painted all the "must stay" walls flaming red, and started hunting a dog house, as I'd planned on it being a "man and his dog" type setup. When I picked out THAT dog house, I decided the whole exterior would be based around it. lol I thought it'd make an excellent summer home, what with the small size and agreeable price. The single bedroom could be easily altered for a spawn pen and the pet items aren't overpowering. I did my best to make the upper floor presentable, but by the time I'd reached that level, I was done with working on it and was eager to get it tested and posted. Husband got a laugh out of the real estate listing description. We've been house bunker hunting for a couple years and we've seen plenty of "cozy" places, "first home jewels" and "moderately priced" "perfect starter-uppers". AND.. I've got my second finished. Took all my pictures, shut down Sims, and went to my Screenshots folder. Empty. I'd forgotten to reset my damned Gadwin after shutting it down! Bah. So, that'll have to wait.

Didn't we already do that strangetown one? (And by 'we' I mean everyone but me, as I think I was busy that month. Probably November's house?) EDIT: I took a look, and that was done in August. I did that one as well, but I got my entry in late enough that it missed comment and/or downloading. LOL It was a fun house to work with, though.

While I'm here, I'd like to baa for you and ask this: do I need to remove the def rep prego morph for these to work, or do I need to report to the pregomorph person that one of his/hers is broken?
You can report it but I'm not sure if she can fix it or not (or if she'd be willing to). All you need to remove is just afbodyshaman and you're good to go, all the others do not conflict. Will do! I was mostly hoping I wouldn't hear "Yes, pull all of it." So, thank you.

Definitely reads like an ESL, but after so much begging.. I'd be ignoring it, too. While I'm here, I'd like to baa for you and ask this: do I need to remove the def rep prego morph for these to work, or do I need to report to the pregomorph person that one of his/hers is broken? I had seen images of the crazy mesh issues, so I can see where that irks.
