76  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Custom Apartment Spam on: 2012 August 09, 10:22:40
I may have missed ones in the elevators, at the moment each NPC door is in an area that is somewhat closed off, stair access through out the entire place.

Edit: Elevators not having a public marker appeared to be the problem! Thanks, I hadn't made a custom apartment in over 7 months!

I've run into a new issue now though, my sim can't have visitors enter his apartment, they sit outside and whinge about now pathing.
77  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Custom Apartment Spam on: 2012 August 09, 08:58:57
So I've made a custom apartment and ran into an annoying spam problem.

Every 10 minutes or so of sim time, a message will pop up stating "I have to go now, goodbye!"- this is happening from the tenants themselves. I was wondering if there was a way to stop this without it affecting any of my other legitimate messages of goodbyes etc.

I have a mix of arr'ed and legit expansions but I have always been able to use the launcher with AM until the KP shit pack.  Don't know what difference it made, but don't really give two shits anyhoo the launcher is a POS.

That's what happened with me, which is why I asked, only reason I tended to use the launcher was when installing SimPacks etc and if I was already there I'd hit the play button, habit.
79  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Have I broken it? on: 2012 July 03, 06:59:47
What changed? I thought you answered that question yourself: You installed a thing.

What I was referring to, as I realise I may have been vague, was the compatibility for both Awesome and the NRAAS NoCD was for the latest version of the game, which I have, so I was wondering if I did something wrong there to prevent it running through the launcher anymore.
80  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Have I broke it? on: 2012 July 03, 05:15:31
Don't go through the launcher, use the sims3 exe.  Works for me.

That worked, thanks, never had that issue running through the launcher before, I am curious as to what has changed?
81  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Have I broken it? on: 2012 July 03, 03:05:36
So I just recently installed an ARRed Katy Perry Sweet Stuff (only because I like some of the things in it...), I could use the crack but I'd rather not, so I have AwesomeConfig set to enable NoCD, but it didn't work. So I downloaded NRAAS' NoCD, it also did not work. Is it because of my version? It updated to 13.0.62.016001- the NoCD's worked in the past before Showtime (which I purchased), but for this one it's just not working. Any ideas?

The second I saw this... my eye twitched.

I assume it's his shoe, if you notice he's kneeling, doesn't excuse for it being so horrid.

Did EA ever fix the Antique clock from the Storybook set so it could be placed on the fireplace mantlepieces? If not, that might be another fix for this thread.
Just tested for you, no it cannot.
84  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: How far, is too far? on: 2012 April 05, 23:10:43
I'd say the higher price tag is associated with this:

Rock out with your Sims to a Simlish version of Katy Perry's hit song, ‘Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.),' recorded for the game by Katy Perry.

A heads up, EA just posted this to their Sims Social page:

Your palace awaits at The Sims 3 Store with the All-New India Inspiration Collection! Shop the Lush Life today!

It's not up in the store yet, but I assume soon?

So I decided to go register my copy of Outdoor Living stuff to access simport, when an advertisement for a new upcoming Stuff pack popped up.

http://thesims.com/katyperry

It's like tutti-fruiti crapola, worst part is, it will probably still sell millions of copies.
87  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: KT's Store Fixes (updated 03.25.2012) on: 2012 March 26, 10:06:41
I spent a good chunk of last night hunting down that fucker(the Cellar Arch) in my launcher, naturally it had to be in the sixth DCB file I looked in. The arch is free at the store and it doesn't have a set.

I found a work around from having to do that. Attempt to install it again, it will tell you "this is already installed blah blah", go under your Installed section, and it will now be the top item in the launcher!

Did you get the Cellar Arch fixed? No matter what I do it won't work. I use fresh copies but the gap is still there. *Le sigh*

Yah, I just told my launcher to install the pack posted above, it told me "No it exists", so then I went under installed, and it was there at the top, uninstalled it, and reinstalled the pack (that I should note was decrapped), worked like a charm, my cellar arch is fixed.

Have you tried using the "E-tool" on it and see what happens. Does it clone to the regular fishbowl or to the new one. Also are you patched up to 1.33?

Yes I am, and no it doesn't.

The bowl has about 20 bottom designs it changes with different fish.

Weird, because I took it out, and swapped the fish around, bowls stayed the same, I tried with a fresh fish, bowls didn't change at all, tried with fresh bowls, bowls again didn't change.

Something is seriously stuffed up with the Cellar Arch from the store, I have not seen this mentioned anywhere, apoligies if it has been, but this is what I am talking about:
*snip*
Why is it a light (the light aiming towards the back there is from the arch itself, at nighttime) and have the horrible gaps? I don't ever recall having this issue in the past. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but it's still like this.

This is a bug that EA actually fixed, but you need the updated sims3pack. Try using this one, which virgali linked in the TS3 Store fixes thread: http://www.mediafire.com/?wnh5t8sq7w72imu

Ah cheers, did not see that, I only just today went to use the arch again after not using it for ages.

I mentioned before that custom outfit number 3 kept resetting, now it's worse! I cannot use the dresser, stylist or anything for that matter, and I have a feeling it's because of that outfit. If it helps, I am not sure if it's entirely related, but she was wearing the Katy Perry dress.

Have you checked this out in a new game, at least verify that your current game isn't headed for an explosion?

I'll do this soon as I get time, currently writing an essay.

Edit:  So I tested this, and had no issues. Went back into my game, and the outfit is now sticking, although I didn't test with the Katy Perry dress. I have no idea why all of a sudden it started working.

On a separate note also, I noticed this in one of the new homes in Starlight Shores:

(sorry for the darkness) There appears to be a different bottom, the original looks like the one on the right, while the left one I have no idea where it's from. You can't change it, and it's is the exact same object in the catalog. The first thing I did was see if it had to do with the certain fish placed in there, nope. Anyone know where this is from?

Im curious where this second bowl design came from, it's not available to edit.

You're too nice Virgali.

Uh sorry!

I know what premium means, and why don't you show it to me, if I'm as stupid as you mean?  Cry
Don't want to read more than 90 pages in search for it, this needs organisation.

*snip*
Why should I show you? Not my fault you're too lazy to look, and considering the thread itself has not even hit 90 pages long, I really doubt you would be going that far. Here's a tip, try going back until around the date of those items releases on the thread, and then start from there.
96  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Lights! Camera! Inaction! SHOWTIME! on: 2012 March 20, 07:42:17
Found a work around to change the default career outfits hairstyle and makeup. If you use NRAAS's MasterController, go to the options for sims and select the "Stylist part" (I assume this would also work with the actual stylist booth, unsure), select the default outfit, and then hit back, you are now able to change the makeup/accessories and hairstyles of the default career outfit. Make sure you don't set it for all outfits if it's something crazy, worked for me!

Edit: Okay another issue has arisen, for some reason the third outfit in my custom careers outfits refuses to save, if I reload my game or anything of the such, it has reset and only has 2 outfits.
97  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Premium Content Fix (updated 03.14.2012) on: 2012 March 20, 07:39:05
Well, I'm not stupid.  Angry
I looked around and found some Fixes for the fences, but not for all. The "Guardian Fence" and the "Fuzzy Friends Fence" are not in the game. I have all the stuff decrapified and installed via the Launcher, and it works for me.

What I wanted to say is that it would be nice to include all the Fixes in your package.

The Spellbook will work if you use this fix too:
http://www.4shared.com/archive/rH4WLDsp/spellbook_fix.html

One last thing I mentioned, some of the windows have have gaps around them in the wall (I think the Gothic ones).

You obviously are stupid, because it's there, and I know it's there because I was the one who requested the fix for them both. Also why should he cater to the lazy people who can't look for the fixes that are already on here. His mod clearly is for the Premium Content, which is the content that has special animations and so forth.
98  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Lights! Camera! Inaction! SHOWTIME! on: 2012 March 19, 23:24:18
Change into your custom outfit, go to change appearance, make sure you've unticked the lock icon that saves hair and makeup for all outfits.

Yup did that, she still has the retarded face paint, oh why did I have to make a retarded look for giggles?
99  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Lights! Camera! Inaction! SHOWTIME! on: 2012 March 19, 12:13:50
Fuck this, seriously I should be allowed to change my singers face and hair for their default outfit! Somehow mine bugged out and I am now stuck with the makeup and face paint style I did for a custom outfit, and can't get rid of it. Any ideas?

Hi, im new here, but visiting the board for a while.

The Fix Collection is quite nice, but there are a lot more stuff to fix. For example near all Store fences don't show up, even the stairs from Barnacle Bay, and the shell and door from the Stage Venue pack.

Hope you continue with new stuff to fix all packs.

There are fixes for pretty much all of those, you just haven't looked hard enough.
