Sure, there's no flamingo's on the lawn. In fact, no pink is to be seen anywhere. There's no amusing shape to the house (like a skull) to offset that completely realistic colour-scheme that's been used.

Bland - I like it.

That is something that has always bothered me over at MTS, most of the houses are so fruity tuti that if I ever end up downloading one, purely for its layout, I have to go through and remove the horrible colouring. I really think some of those creators need to look into interior decorating classes.

I made this awhile ago and tried to distribute it to MTS, however they said my submission wasn't meeting their criteria, and was bland.
As requested by Naiad who said they wanted it, here it is.

I cannot remember exactly what expacs I had installed when I made this (as it was a little over a year ago), but as far as I remember it was all expacs and stuff packs up to Town Life Stuff that had installed at the time.

I submitted it to MTS for upload and it was rejected, apparently it wasn't appealing enough or something, bland I believe their words were.
The next day I was browsing and saw a recent upload of a house, it was on a 2x2 lot and it looked like a glorified cardboard box, 0 imagination or thinking effort put into it.

Rubyelf, did you untick the checked box before downloading? I got a rar file just fine with no exe in it.

Also Monte Vista is 163 MB. The Street Market is 30.79MB. Make sure you click the right download button as well, there are a lot of ads to get through. It's in the middle and says "Click here to start download from sendspace".

Yah that's the exact button I hit to start downloading, it seems to be working now, but the first time I downloaded it, the file name was "AlFrescoMarketSet.rar.exe" and malwarebytes went mad over it.

The Al Fresco Street Market file that kem posted came up on my malware bites containing malware, I had thought it suspicious as when I downloaded it the file itself was .rar.exe I didn't download his Monte Vista one as it was going at less than 5 kbs.

Also KT's simpoint bundle post as been removed due to violating the TOS again.

I managed to find a fix, which was deleting all of the proprietors and the proprietor object, then deleting the lot and placing it back down. It subsequently has stopped the crazy spawning, but now my stone has vanished into the void.

Missing object resource issue is the same thing that happens to all premium content (with accessories) when de-crapped. The problem is already fixed with KT's fixes because he was very quick to update.

It wasn't updated when I first posted this, as I'd only just downloaded the fix this morning, hence why I posted the information.

Not sure if anyone is aware but the Sunflower from the new Greenhouse seems to be bugged. It drops "sun radiance" or something, but the objects are missing and come up as square white boxes (this is with the one posted on the TS3 store thread, I decrapped it myself after). Screenshot:

So the lot where my Weather Stone spawned on seems to be going crazy, about 50 Proprietors are sitting there, and what's worse is they are spawning at an alarming raid of 2 per second. Does anyone have any clue what the hell is going on here?! This is on a fresh game, with fresh install after installing all expacs including seasons. The only mods I have are the updated ones from NRAAS and Awesome.

Apparently ALL my lots that had them on it went crazy, one lot had 500...that explains the lag that started happening.

This stretching bug has been around for ages.



I realise this, I was pointing out that it's happening on a new item, and was also bringing to attention the OTHER bug (routing issue) involved in it, and the possibility that someone may invent a 'fix' to this.

Well so far I've only discovered one very disturbing bug to this game, and here is a screenshot of it:



That is a picture of my cat which followed my sim into her secret room, when it used the door it's body completely deformed.
After the kitty proceeded to have a couple of routing issues before it finally managed to "open" the door, it didn't actually do that, it proceeded to walk through the door, literally. If the cat exits through the other side of the door, there are no issues at all.

No buffs for me with the sauna set and the massage table, even after updating ccmerged.package and KTstore fix. The last time, I had the right buffs for the deap fryer and the icecream maker but this time they don't want to appear  Huh. any help will be welcome

If you decrapped them make sure you are using ccmerged_decrapped and the decrapped KTstore fix.

Am I just reading this wrong, or is EA really trying to charge almost $40 for this new world?  4,350 points, when a 5,000 point bundle is $40?  Seriously?  That's approaching the price of an EP.  This is why people ARR your shit, EA.

I was looking at that myself and was dumbfounded. The new world may be sparkly and shiny with its pristine beaches and stoof, but it sure as hell is not worth $40.

How odd. Did you put a public marker in your sim's apartment or what? 'Cause normally an NPC just doesn't give a shit about your sim's apartment or even the public facilities and RUSH into his assigned rabbithole. Anyway remove the elevator to test, leaving only the stairs. If there's no change do the other way around, put back the elevator and remove the stairs; we have to check if it's one of these 2 things that is bugging their routing and making them do that stupid detour.

I tried all that, however I think I have found the issue.

I decided to do a test and make one of the sims who had the route over his head active, and I saw he was trying to use the Ice Cream machine, when I removed the Ice Cream machine I no longer had routing issues, weird.

Although I am not sure if patches work differently for macs or not, are you able to get access to a PC? You can make backups of the patches using that downloader and then run them onto your mac maybe? I have no idea about how macs work and what restrictions there are, as I said, I avoid them.

WCIF: That stupid mod that stops your plants from disappearing after they have been harvested. I am sure I had it, but apparently not as all my harvested plants have vanished on me (except those on community lots).

I'll give it a go. I'll try to upload a screenshot if things don't work properly still after making 100% sure that is all there, but at this point I am 95% sure it all is.

Still nothing, I checked over and everything else is working fine, just not letting the NPCs inside. ALTHOUGH, I did have a random NPC somehow get inside, and get stuck, she wouldn't leave until I had to use moveobjects on to get her out of the apartment (there was no ask to leave option).



Edit:
I have NPCs that live in the apartment complex on the floor below mine, and will come up to my floor, do the routing bug (as seen above), and will then proceed to go back down either the stairs or the elevator to their floor and into their door. It's just random, sometimes they sit out there for awhile before they go back to their apartments, I've checked to make sure nothing is blocking the path, and as far as I can see, nothing is.

What causes that is generally an elevator/staircase leading directly in your sims apartment. i.e. both ends of an elevator/staircase must be in a zone with a public marker. Remove it or make a real hall with public marker.

I managed to fix the spamming issue, the new issue I have is NPC sims refusing to go inside and instead whinging constantly about no pathing.
