Not quite true, as there's still some lag and routing issues even with the mods and CC removed, and with a new game generated.

I put two windsurfing boards on the deck of the You're on a Boat houseboat, and they seem to have been eaten by the Kraken, as I can't find them. Never even got to use them either. Still waiting for a Shark mauling, and I cheated to get the friend of the Kraken LTR, and I cannot summon it on any boat I wish, like it claims.

I'm also getting a lot of unroutable sims in Isla Paradisio, in edition to the script errors with the Scotts, who eventually just disappeared from the world completely.

As someone pointed out, fantastic idea, extremely shitty exectuion. It's EA though, so should we ever expect them to release a game that's not broken? So glad I've never paid for any of this.

I'm getting a fuckton of script errors in the new worls too, and I'm only using NRAAS mods now. The Scott family is totally broken as all the script errors are coming from them.

Eh, It's loading quicker now, I Also forgot to remove an outdated mod, as I never had the shiny .tmp files. A few crashes, as I had to go edit my graphics configuration files, because the game is no longer recognising my card. Trying with a fresh game now, and only NRAAS mods.

Cracks are separate. Just testing it out on my laptop before I install on my desktop. I'm running an i5, with 6GB RAM and a Radeon 6470M, with about a quarter of my 750GB drive full, and the game takes forever to load to the splash screen, even when it's the only thing running. Might wait for a Fairlight release to see if it's just an issue with the Games4theWorld copy, as my game wasn't as slow before install. I'm running with everything, including Katy Perry's shit pack (I want the furniture for a kid's room).

Could be borkedness with EA themselves, as I'm having a somewhat similar issue. Any lot with a pool on it, all sims, including NPCs such as the mail carrier and paper deliverer, automatically change into bathing suits and go for the pool all the fucking time. I've put up fences and locked doors to prevent townies and such from freeloading, but my sims refuse to give up the pool/diving board/lounger.

Yukon Trail was cooler.

Just put in the latest AM test, and my sim couple is back to normal for the time being. Still missing some mods, but at least now I can play a halfway decent game.

I can't even get the give flowers interaction to work correctly. I'm starting with a fresh game, but with a saved sim couple who were a couple. I can't even get them to complement each other without one of them yelling at the other. This is exactly why I stopped buying Sims games, and started pirating them. I will say this is the worst thing that's ever broken in my game though, I didn't give a shit about schools breaking in Ambitions, as I usually never had crotchfruit running around in my game. I never turn any of my computers off, only if I'm travelling or something. The only time I've ever had issues with Windows since XP came out has been more of a physical issue, rather than software related. My Acer's hinges seized up, so the screen begran to split apart. I also had the fan seize up on the piece of shit Compaq I have. I haven't had malware in years since I stopped using shit like Limewire and Kazaa, and I usually try to stick to Demonoid for torrents.

I never used to hate Mac users, but the douchebag I work with makes me stabby. He manages to crash his Windows work machine at least once a day, and basically quotes the Mac commercials and Steve Jobs constantly. He is a smug asshole, and owns literally every iDevice out there, including an iPad. He also treats his electronics like shit, and walks on them. The amount of derp with the kid is strong. There's also an elderly gentleman who is a Mac user, who is almost as bad as the younger one. Both of them still expect me to fix their computer issues because they are too damn lazy to learn how to themselves. Sometimes I think the younger Mac user is purposely sabotaging his computer just to say Microsoft is crap. I don't give a shit what computer you use, just stop trying to push your lifestyle choices on me, and call me stupid when I disagree with you, or feel like I've decapitated your grandmother and fed her corpse to your cat.

Back on the subject of upgrades, is a Radeon 5770, with 1 GB of dedicated memory, enough to play this stupid game? My poor ickle laptop can no longer handle the game and expansions, even on low settings. After an hour, the game starts pixelating and my laptop feels like it's going to burninate to a crisp. My laptop is a piece of shit Compaq that's about 3 years old, with integrated graphics, an Intel Core 2 duo processor, and 3 GB of RAM. Once I get my tax return, I'm building a mid-range gaming desktop for playing TS3 and Civ V. I'm looking at the 5770, as well as the new 2600k i7 Intel Sandy Bridge processor, and 12 GB of RAM. I'll be hooking it up to a 42" LED tv via HDMI for playing.

Totally stupid question, did you change your DEP settings? I never had any CTDs until Ambitions, and then I went and actually changed the DEP settings. EA is stupid.

Edit: Resetting LAA allows the goddamn patch to install without fucking reinstalling every goddamn thing. However if you updated the Patch program from MTS, you now have to download the separate LAA program in order to reset the fucker.

Super Computer is dead, so if you're using that, that's why your game is borked. It's been mentioned several times in this thread. It's been replaced with master controller. If you're not using it, then it's some other mod you have screwing with your game. Try taking the damn custom content out and putting it back in piece by piece.

Re: Dig sites being borked, did you try any of the spawners on your home lot? I placed one in my game because I was bored, and the sim had no problem digging up random crap. I have yet to test a dig site out in a vacation hood though.

I've tested my game a bit more, it's only one sim that has become a nudist of sorts. He won't even get dressed going outside now, only when he leaves the lot. The other sim in this particular house doesn't feel the urge to strip naked or anything when she makes the nectar.

I'm thinking it's an Ambitions bug, not AM related. I honestly have no idea why this one sim's doing this. I've updated to the latest build of AM yet again, and he's still doing this.
