Not working for me either. Like Decker, object appear in double, both have the same ugly stocking texture. Best thing to do would be to share the file you used since obviously you don't use the same as us. The problem seems to lie in the fact that yours have a different catalog placement (read the stencils unlocked thread).

I have made the food truck parking space buyable.  http://dino.drealm.info/den/denforum/index.php?topic=297.0
That's pure awesome! However it's seen as a derelict vehicule ('No driver!') by AM and is automatically FURBARed a few hours after you've put it somewhere. Sad

Reading the description it's the problem I've been having for a couple of days. Sometimes it resolves itself after 5 or 10 seconds but I've already had 3 case where I had to ALT TAB and end the process. I was used to the occasional tiny lags when the families moves out but that is game breaking. The 'good' freezes resolving itself happened in Sunset, Egypt and France; the 'bad' ones needing process halt all happened in Bridgeport. I guess EA must have really screwed the lots there or something.

that doesn't exactly excuse the baby morphing into a different species in the womb just because its mom turned into a vampire *after* conception.
Read it again slowly, notice the subtle differences between the number '1' and the number '2':

Sim 1 impregnated Sim 2. Just a few hours before Sim 2 went into labor, Sim 1 metamorphosed into a vampire.
It's worse, it's the dad that was changed into a vampire.

I meant do not touch the stuff in the worlds folders, only the launcher DBC files in the DCCache folder. It will remove all the installed sims3packs at once. I did it when I got fed up with the crappy launcher system for these sims3packs.

Here's a way: you say you still have your uncombined files, nope? Download the dashboard tool http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=387006, read the instructions, remove your combined files and download the shitty outfit from Rose's site. Put it with your uncombined files and launch the dashboard. The tool should find the conflict and point out the two identical files - even if they're named differently. Delete both. Recombine the rest of the files and replace them properly yada yada. It should work.

BTW you didn't have to reinstall your game to remove any installed sims3pack, just delete the dcc files created by the launcher. Don't touch Riverview's ones unless you want to reinstall the damn thing.

You do have the choice when you use 'Import from packages', even in the latest version. Anyway Some people post uncompressed merged packages and it's total waste of space, I mentioned the compression part for them.

Don't forget the compression, it saves a ton of space and doesn't bork anything.

I didn't merge the CAS sliders as I was being cautious, thanks for the info. I'll go merge them as I'm starting to have a truckload of them.

If you want to keep using the item simply open the package with Delphy's CTU, available at MTS in the tools category. In the "Category part" uncheck the "Nude" state and the "All" underneath it. Save (not "Save As", it'll break the item). If the package is uneditable then it's a crap and ditch it. If it's a sims3pack, convert it into a package by using a package extractor then edit the nude state with the CTU.

It may look complicated but it takes merely a minute to do it.

I wasn't the only one who wanted to use the tents in community lots so I shared the mod... Didn't have any demoniac plan, nope.

Nope, there's no fix until EA decides to patch the sound issues. Which will probably never happen.
