I'm baffled, this is a hilarious workaround.  That said, 1) I too had a stupid sim put down her mug 'outside', I then realized the mug could not be removed. However it eventually disappeared. I play in rotation and regularly clean caches (including the lot caches most people seem to ignore). On next rotation it wasn't there anymore. 2) From what I read the object set as head is fully usable by your sim wearing it - leading to fun animations if your sim takes a bath in his head tub for example - so why reset your sim to put it down - and be stuck with an unwanted trashcan? i.e. have you tried it directly? |

The only oddity I'm noticing since the 10/1 patch (besides those detailed elsewhere about tiny eyes and lantern jaws) is that all of a sudden harvestable plants do not highlight when I hover the mouse over them. All the options show up as usual when clicked on, and work as expected, but no highlight. Yet frogs, diggable rocks, and so on still work fine.
Normally my instinct would be that this is a "personal problem, soldier," and it very well could be. I have heard from only one other person who sees the same problem. I do know that it's not due to mods since the problem is still there with a brand new Sim in a brand new game, with the mods folder removed. So this is the extent of my learnings on the matter.
If you're talking about the outline around the plant when you hover the cursor on it, then yes it disappeared for me too. The pots have their outlines, but not the plant. That makes gardening harder when you have a lot of plants cluttered in a tiny space. The info box with the text is still there though, it's only the outline that was FURBARed. |

It's not as awesome as you think. You just have 2 frogs in your inventory, click 'Breed' on one of them, choose the second frog and Bam! a third frog appears in your inventory. Nothing more.

If you don't send the crystals they all have an energized aura (quite handy for an exercise room), if you send them you'll receive the cubes by mail and all the cubes give the focused aura. I put the cubes with the computers, pretty useful for the geeks; but there's also a stand in the catalog to display your collection of cubes.

Can someone (re)post the Business as Usual Bistro? sethsoul's links actually leads to The Coffee Bean Hipster Loft set.
Not true. I downloaded the set from the mediafire link and it shows up just fine. Mega link has at least the correct file name. Maybe you're confused because the the Hipster thing is called "Industrial Loft" and the Bistro is called "Industrial kitchen"? My bad, you're right. EA must be out of inspiration for the sets names. |

It's the damn patches, the pirates rarely removes them. That's why your steam download was instant. The installed thing is merely 180Mo, still more than Master Suite which is 150Mo or Katy Perry (170Mo). The biggest SP must be Hels with its 266Mo.

I'd nearly bet my farm that it this bug has to do solely with the new stalker love letters with Seasons, interacting with...something. Since I've installed all the KT store fixes, the problem is gone and hasn't come back however, no idea if this was voodoo or had something to do with how the stalker mail interacted with a store object somehow.
Ditto. My sim received a "Missing obj ressource" big white box as a Christmas present, proof that store items can be chosen. I think the gift was a sun because at that time I just had installed the greenhouse set and was waiting for the CCmerge update. |

I don't have any gaps but I don't install all the store either. However things like sinks and elec stuff I always install them. I checked ingame: I have no elec misc item costing 1§ and no sink for 500. But I do have 2 store beds costing 1700: the Mediterranean Villa one and the old castle set bed.

The veggie stand cannot be stocked, it's simply a specialized consign register disguised as a cart. Like the register you see in the consign shop, but it only deals with gardening stuff: veggies, seeds and related skills books. So it has a basic register menu: the option are tend, buy and consign. The tend option only means standing there for hours, don't know about the pay though, haven't tried it seriously yet.
