Did I mention anything about having a pirate copy of the game in my post?   But please feel free to assume that I do. (FYI. I bought the games and had the expansion packs bought for me for Christmas and my Birthday.)

I was trying to help another forum member,who was asking if anyone knew were they could find a no CD hack.

Maybe EA can bring a patch out that I can actually update my game with.     Instead of getting error invalid file found every time I try and update with this new patch.

Richardajoy,have you tried searching on-line. There are lots of sites that can help with the no CD files or cracks.

I take it you are having problems with CC showing in your game?  You could try uninstalling the sims 3 and all expansion packs,installing the framework from this website. http://sublimesims.net/smf/index.php?PHPSESSID=01cf311b9b35db0eae0cc94f5a08a3ba&topic=1748.0.   Search for decrapifie and use Delphy's monkey installer to install your CC,you can find this over at mod the sims.

Other than that I would suggest making your own .dbc files,instructions in Witch' post.

Kukuchka,you could try reading through The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here,thread to see if any of the CC you want is on there.

 Or you could search for what you want,if you can't be arsed reading through the thread I mentioned.

I am such an idiot. Thank you for the reply,and the help.

I have downloaded the *.dbc format files from the link on the first page,my problem is that when I try to install them I have to add them to my zip files,as they apear as broken page links and windows doesn't know how to open them.

  I have followed the step by step instructions from the Sublime Sims website on how to install the framework to use package files,now when I try to install the files through the launcher the little black square apears but then disapears without installing anything.
