Ok what points do you have to have to read a book in tabcasts because my sims don't have any skill points and its not working. I know how to add a mod and all the other stuff works in that mod but the tabcast and the tree of prosperity. I had to add Skadi tree back because it doesn't work without it. It might work in your game but you need to realize its not in mine. If you have a suggestion on how to get it to work on all the things I would appreciate it. Be more understanding because I am asking for help and this mod doesn't do as it says for me.

Those with the tablet problems are doing it wrong. Just double checked on my other PC and without the fix the action gets canceled once the non-ear piece gets put it. With the fix it works. I'll double check the deep fryer package for stuff, I think there was an UNKOWN file I didn't include, I wouldn't know what would be causing a reset with this one, there is no skill file like with the spell book.  
 Ok I might be doing it wrong but I have the other fixes in with it and the .package one doesn't work with that fix. The tabcast doesn't work at least everything else does.

But I was reading another site that the spellbook conflicts with the tablet

I know the violation part is bad I just need to know what caused it and how I can fix it. I took out a mod that I had been using and the game was acting like it was still in. So if thats the case is that what might have caused the crash?

I don't know if this is in the right area but I was playing sims 3 last night and it crashed and now it has something weird in the crash log that I have no idea what it means. ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x00000080 I was wondering is this bad? If so how can I fix it.

Ok but I have no clue what I am looking for when I just showing store items or what category its even in. Or what it even looks like. I have to many things in my download folder that are from the store from here. So if you could be more specific what to look for I would be grateful.

I don't know if this is the right section and if someone has posted this already sorry. Haha. Anyways there are these annoying boots that are broken that are from the store glitching babies. is there a fix for this? They got arid of the boots in the store and I can't find them in the launcher. I just need the boots to stay in the right category.

I have High End stuff does this matter with trying to get the Launcher to install stuff? This is still a tad complicated.

Edi: I got it to work but I did things different I used my WA as the test working launcher. But I am still not sure what I do after I reinstall High End Stuff Undecided

It may mean that your launcher is lying to you. That can happen. By that I mean that your launcher thinks that it is updated to a certain point and the rest of the files are actually not. There is a thread around here detailing on how to tell if your game is actually up to date but damned if I remember the thread title.
Well since I don't know what the topic is how do I search it? Thanks for trying to help. Undecided

Okay so I added the files in a DCCache folder in 2 different location. One in the C Drive Documents in the EA folder and on in the program files EA folder.I then added all the framework in all 3 game folders. I am still having trouble getting anything to show up. I have mods in a folder that refuse to show up. On top of all my frustration the patch either messed up my launcher or I am doing something wrong. I can't download anything with a update your software messages. Since I am completely clueless anyone know what this means? My Launcher says its up to date.

Okay sorry if I sound completely stupid but I still can't figure out how to install it. I read all the instructions and did as the instructions  said but nothing is showing up. . I am new here too so don't be to hard on me.
