It's terrible when you have only one computer at home, mostly if both of the partners like internet and games... Can you imagine you want to play your sims (or any game) and it's time to raid at WoW? Geez... I lived that once when my PC died, it really sucks - I couldn't raid that night, 'cause husband was the raid leader... Fortunatelly we could afford to buy a new PC next morning.

Thank you for this fascinating window into your domestic life.  PLEASE tell me you have laundry stories to share too.

Like, my laundry room is too small for a washer and dryer, so we had to like reinforce the floor and spend a lot of money so we could like put in expensive stacking units, and they are like fucking awesome. It's really cool 'cause they are red and everyone knows red makes them wash and dry faster and anyway it sucks because I have to do my husbands laundry now since he's too damn cheap to buy another washer and dryer and too lazy to do his own laundry and can I abuse the word and any more in this paragraph? Fortunatelly he doesn't have a lot of clothes so I don't actually have to do his laundry every day.

Well, I don't have stories about laundry room, but I have about supermarkets, do you wanna hear them? HAHAHAHA

I asked my wife this morning if I could dump the current save games and switch to AwesomeMod which is obviously the superior one, but she responded with an unequivocal NO. So for now I will continue on my quest try to emulate AwesomeMod's awesomeness. Some day I'll be able to make the switch to AwesomeMod. Until then, thank you for your time.

Husbands and wives should not share computers!   That's just wrong on so many levels.  Get your own computer (Pro Tip- with AwesomeMod you will not need to use a disk to play the game, so you can both play at the same time.) Then you can prove to her that she is wrong.

I totally agree. This should not happen EVER. It may spread some disease, cause bad karma... But you you both want to play at same time, you just need to wait the game load and take off the DVD game, then put it in the other pc and play the game. After it loads, you can play without the DVD.  I do it since TS2, me and my husband do not share computers  Roll Eyes

Thanks for the quick answer, Motoki. I'm an obssessed being who names her downloads, so, I can track them. I'll try to redownload or delete them. Thanks again.

Hi, dears! I recently patched my game and merged my stuffs, but not Awesome, my hacks (Rainbow Brite, Anach and Chaavik hacks)  and the default things. When I'm at the shopping mode my game is crashing - it freezes and nothing makes it works again. I pressed the windows key, the Esc key, prayed for mercy and even did some killing threats, but nada. Anybody has this problem? Sorry if this isn't the right thread, but my problems began after the patch, oh gosh, I hate patches! Thanks in advance.

Oh, thanks a lot, darlings! I dragged and sold it, them it worked  Cheesy.  Hope this will be fixed next patch... It's terrible to buy a game so much "bugged".

Well, I reached the 100% inventions and I'm doing an opportunity to get a "rose diamond in a shape heart"  (I think it has to do with the simbot?), anyway, my inventor career its not upping! I put my inventions at consignation shop (or store - I don't know the name in English, my game is in Brazilian Portuguese), they are sold, but the career doesn't up. Anybobody knows if its an EA bug? Oh, almost forgot, I have the career bundle installed by store launcher.

  Thanks.

Thank you, Rainbow Brite! I'll look up there, too.  Kiss

Hi, IgnorantBliss lead to this thread. I did my TS3+WA+AMB works (with Vista 64-bits) instaling them at a custom install path, like at Skadi's thread:  http://sublimesims.net/smf/index.php?PHPSESSID=ae9d09f0a4922de84e94c966a72074f4&topic=1747.0, them followed Rainbow Brite's tutorial at MTS: http://www.modthesims.info/member.php?u=3811336 (see her journal).

   Hope this helps.  Roll Eyes

Thank you a lot, dear! It really works! I could never think about it, never had this kind of issue before.
I followed the Rainbow Brite tutorial at her journal at MTS:  http://www.modthesims.info/member.php?u=3811336.
12  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Why this dumbas sim behave like a dumbass ? on: 2010 June 20, 14:33:40
I don't think so. Sims without the athletic or brave traits run through the places, it's weird, but it's an EA thing. Insane sims use stranges clothing category. My insane sim uses to sleep in bath and go to bistro in athletics  Cheesy
13  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AWESOMEMOD 4.0.87 (AMB) TEST THREAD on: 2010 June 20, 14:18:23
I notice that, too. But, if you have at leat one level skill point, you can raise your skills watching TV.
14  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / My game is shutting down... Any help? on: 2010 June 20, 13:09:56
Hi people, I need a little help here. I've installed TS3 base, WA and AMB - fully patched, no CC in my husband puter (it's a Intel quad core Q8200, 2,33 Ghz, 2,33 Ghz, 4,00GB RAM - Asus motherboard Q5 - I guess, Vista 64 bits), and just after he does his sim, put him in a lot and begin to play... "kaput". The game shuts itself down and back to windows. In my puter this doesn't happen, I can play with no problems (my PC is a Intel quad core Q8200, 2,33 Ghz, 2,33 Ghz, 4,00GB RAM - GigaByte motherboard, XP service pack 3). I could play in my PC with and without CC, but I couldn't in his. Oh, I've installed everything thrice... and nada. Any clue?  Huh

   Thanks for the help.
15  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: "Sims Launcher has encountered an issue and is closing" on: 2010 June 18, 18:09:14
Reinstal, repatch and instal EADM. This worked to me.
16  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Merging mods to increase Performance! (Manually creating .dbc archives) on: 2010 February 16, 15:31:59
I want to thank you a lot, Anach! You made my simmy life worth again. I followed your tutorial step by step, and now my game is loading super smooth Cheesy. I am a real noob about programming, modding, etc., and your tutorial made the process easy. But (like a real noob), I have two little questions: when I was running s3pe - while saving the packages, the program screen showed me some files with the types '0x7672f0c5', '0x73e93eeb' and '0x044ae110", all with the instance '0x0000...", should I let them quiet or should I delete them?   And what about the "manually XML merge" thing? Should I import like package first, and then re-import like .dbc?   Huh

To the others noobs like me: I first ran the contents in s3rc (the sims3pack and .packages), I opened the sims3packs in the Delphy's Multipack extractor, and then I run the s3pe - I used the 's3pe-1002-07-1313' version.  Wink

To the grammar police: I am sorry, but English is not my native language and I am not used to write in it, so, I want to apollogize any mispelling or grammar mismatch.  Cool
