I don't know whether it's feasible and maybe it's a little cheat-y, but I'd like to be able to give an object multiple upgrades like you can now do in The Sims 4.

I feel moved to ask which patch will fix the fact that plant splicing is borked?

*laughter at my innocence/ignorance may now commence*
This latest one, apparently. They left it out of the patch notes though.
3  TS4: Pudding II: Electric Boogaloo / Insert Amusing Name Here / Re: Sims 4 is out what's the scoop? on: 2014 September 12, 22:55:58
I actually managed to create differing relationship bar levels between two Sims when I was messing around with the relationship cheats. It was either a glitch, or perhaps the game does support two-sided relationships but adjusts the levels for both Sims to match each other for whatever reason.

Gallery works fine. You can browse and download with no problems. For me, anyway.

So those are definitely just unlocks then? I noticed a "DLC" folder in the game files, so I figured it was all downloaded from Origin.

- The tutorial. 'Nuff said.
- The stupid jingles for everything. Emotion stings have already been nuked by a mod, but loading a lot also plays a really irritating sting.
- The maid barely wears a maid's uniform. Most of the time she wears generic clothing, though she randomly showed up in a more traditional maid's outfit with apron.
- As said above, the maid sometimes never shows up.
- We need a gardener NPC. My Sim's relatively small garden takes way too many hours every day to maintain. Weirdly I noticed a gardener Sim (with appropriate uniform) tending to the neighborhood allotments, so there's no reason why there couldn't be an identical NPC for hire.
- Every time you load the home lot, you are charged for the maid (she supposedly visits while you are out) even when there is absolutely nothing to be cleaned.
- When sims get married, the spouse doesn't move in nor do they change their last name. In fact, there is no way to change a Sim's name whatsoever.
- You can't plan a party in advance, like in The Sims 3. Once you set one up it begins immediately.
- Relationships no longer recognize step-family, like in The Sims 3. My Sim married Katrina Caliente, but apparently her daughters Nina and Dina aren't family to him (now there's an opening for a story...) Also half-siblings are considered full-blooded brothers/sisters for some inane reason.
- No biographies for Sims!
- You can't view any information about a Sim while they are at work or school!
- Random Sims cockblocking when my Sims are flirting with each other.
- Despite the allegedly improved AI, Sims will watch TV/play a game/learn a skill until they drop.
- My game crashes when travelling if the simulation speed is higher than 1.
- A skill journal to keep track of all the skill level unlocks would be great. I can't remember what special abilities they have earned.
- A Sim can't Change Appearance using a mirror if it's over a sink...
- What do you do with all those Frog terrariums? They take up a full tile each and can't be stacked.

Also, do any pirates know how to unlock the bonus content, or is that not possible at this stage?

You should be able to purchase them from the supermarket.

You're right. I was getting confused with the arm bracer. My bad.
9  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: KT's Store Fixes (updated 09.26.2013) on: 2013 October 28, 13:05:03
Edit: I tried again with a vanilla game and it worked. How's one supposed to customize the suit though? You can't plan outfit nor change appearance when it's equipped.
Update: Well I uninstalled the pack and then reinstalled it but suiting up still doesn't work so my guess is it's a ccmerge issue since it does work in the vanilla game.

From what I can tell, it looks like the suit isn't an outfit. It's actually an object that goes over the Sim, using similar resources to the CAS clothing for its mesh and textures etc.
10  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Into The Future Thread of Joy and Woe. on: 2013 October 24, 14:45:27
Arred it a few days ago, so I've had some time to get to grips with it. I'm actually enjoying the future, and I love how efficient everything is. I don't have to waste time getting around, or cooking, cleaning etc. The wasteland has a nice Tatooine vibe (and check out who's living there). They even made a Futurama household.

Haven't noticed any real glitches regarding the new content. My loading times are much longer since installing the EP though (except for travelling, which seems to have improved). Also all the descendants seem to be fat puddings, although I'm sure that's a feature.
11  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Patch 1.63 on: 2013 October 18, 20:22:42
Wait, wut?

EA have actually patched an expansion before it's even been released?
12  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Piss and Moan about IP thread on: 2013 July 01, 23:29:11
I'm finding IP to be virtually unplayable. Horrible lag (even in Buy/Build modes. FPS is stable, there just seems to be a delay between every click and action when I'm building) and I'm getting a constant barrage of unroutable sims in the new hood.
13  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Patch 1.55 on: 2013 June 30, 22:46:23
I wonder why they added that trash bed in buydebug? It was supposed to come with Late Night, IIRC. I assumed it would be placed around IP, but I haven't seen it anywhere.
14  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2013 May 11, 12:40:53
So EA accidentally released the new world Dragon Valley, and now they're asking people to be good Samaritans and kindly delete the files off their computers.

Just wondering if anyone around here managed to snag it in time?
15  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomemod Request Thread on: 2013 March 17, 23:08:07
Why are all newly created sims getting a WA camera, if there is perfectly good camera included in the new smartphone?
Without WA installed, this is the only way to get a proper camera (it would have made more sense to just sell it at the supermarket though).
16  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Uni Life Thread on: 2013 March 11, 17:53:25
I managed to fix the problem with editsim. As soon as it loaded she reverted to her old appearance, so I just accepted the "changes" and everything was alright again. Very annoying though.

Wasn't too impressed when I sent my sim back to uni for the next term. The game reassigned all the role NPCs, so former roommates became mixologists and cashiers, and a barista became my sim's new professor. One of the pre-made professors ended up taking over the coffee shop.
17  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomemod Request Thread on: 2013 March 11, 14:14:49
It would be nice to have the ability to move house while at university. Seems like a glaring omission.

Why would you need to?  You're there for two weeks tops and there's no meaningful need to move.  Sims 2 did it better.

In case I regret my choice of accomodation, or want to get well away from annoying dormies?

19  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Uni Life Thread on: 2013 March 10, 00:11:14
So this totally happened.

I had my sim take a smart phone picture with one of the sorority girls, queued up some romantic interactions, and when I next looked back she had regenerated into a clone of my sim.
20  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Uni Life Thread on: 2013 March 09, 16:05:31
According to EAxis, performance decay is intentional.
21  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2013 March 05, 17:47:19
So, uh, I'm getting a "herp derp license limit reached" when trying to install store content with that horrible launcher. Has something changed with that recent update?

EDIT: Never mind. Something fucked up during my UL install.
22  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: New Patch 1.50 on: 2013 February 19, 21:41:34
Wow, about time they pulled their finger out. And actual gameplay fixes too, not just "fixed obscure voodoo crash".
23  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread on: 2012 November 23, 19:28:20
I patched the day the patch was released, and my game has been working fine until updating to the 19th November AM, from whatever test one came before that (I haven't actually played the game in a few days, just updated the mod in the meantime). I did manage to get it load after leaving it a few hours, so it's literally just a vastly increased loading time.
24  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread on: 2012 November 23, 14:07:07
The latest AM seems to be causing a vast increase in loading time for my save, to the point where I simply can't load it. I've tried several times, and after seeing the loading bar still at 1/3 after an hour I just give up. Took out AM and it loaded in about 5-10 minutes. Put it back in, and it's taking forever again.
25  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Seasons Impressions? on: 2012 November 17, 20:25:06
It's nice to have weather at last, although the ep is lacking in assets.

Anyway I've had a whole bunch of problems. Seasons seems determined to kill off the population of my hood. Sims starving to death from the eating contests. Spontaneous combustions all over the place, in some cases getting stuck in a loop that prevents sims or rain from putting it out.

My weather stone has turned invisible, and AM's Nuke option has disappeared, so I'm not sure what to do to get it back. I can't even redeem festival tickets. As far as the merchant is concerned, the ones my sims have in their inventories don't count at all.
