Well, I'm half drunk already but, I was referring to your 'spechial snowflake' post.  Lips sealed
2  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: KT's Store Fixes (updated 11.02.2013) on: 2014 August 23, 03:12:39
Nevermind it was a different mod. Oh, and KT, don't be a dumbshit because I quoted the persons whose fixes I was using.
3  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: KT's Store Fixes (updated 11.02.2013) on: 2014 August 16, 07:02:26
I've made a fix for the gondola in the Amore set.  Of note:  When I used random test Sims, they would get out in the middle of the ride and wouldn't woohoo.  Using Sims I'd been playing awhile, I had no problems.  According to posts on the Sims 3 forum, the same has happened to others as well.

I've rolled the Amore fix into one big fix, "DecrapFixes_all."  As the name states, the fix includes ALL decrap fixes from this thread, as well as Clara's outfit fixes, way back to the beginning.  As such, before installing this fix, DELETE ALL OTHER DECRAP FIXES FROM YOUR MODS AND/OR OVERRIDES FOLDERS (including "kammy's store fix 11").

Pop my fix into your Overrides folder.  Get it here:  DecrapFixes_all.zip.

My ccmerged should be working as well (tl;dr: I popped Nona's last ccmerged into my DCBackup folder, then installed the Amore set via the Launcher), but keep an eye out for Nona to update hers.  Put it in your Overrides folder.

Update:  Nona's ccmerged.package has been updated.  Delete mine from wherever you put it, and pop Nona's into your Overrides folder.  Get it here (scroll down): Nona's Sims

This is giving me an issue that is /well/ known with KT's store fixes. I only have this package installed in my overrides folder (besides my DDfinder lighting mod) and I have the issue where I can't purchase food from the festival. After the interaction, the food menu doesn't pop up. Any ideas? I also have nona's updated CCmerged.

In fact, they even enjoy smileys and I believe have a 'bene' system, which is probably what you were thinking of when you clicked the 'Thanks' in error. Fucking sheeple.

Actually, I don't frequent the BBS, but I do read some of the illiterate nonsense. I'm not quite as low as responding to it, though. That didn't really have anything to do with accidentally pressing the 'Thanks' button. It is right next to the quote button, and it's not a hard mistake to make.

I think I get what you're saying. Essentially I'm too "nice" to be here. I could go over the FAQ again if that would make you happy. However, being "nice" didn't have anything to do with "sticking out" so much as it had to do with trying to not make enemies. I GET NOW that it is the polar opposite around here.

With that said, I guess it's time to go back and lurk for four more years. But don't worry, when I encounter you again, I promise I won't be nice.
5  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 September 25, 07:58:02
I noticed your witterings because every fucking thread I loaded this evening, had you wombling on about nothing in particular

If I'm the unintelligent one, you could probably try to stop making up words.

'wombling', 'witterings', and 'wibbling' are not words. It is also amusing that you have such a problem with my posting.

except your inability to understand what was going on.

That is a flat out, fucking lie. If I had a problem understanding ANYTHING, I wouldn't hesitate to post, obviously. I was being truthful when I said I wasn't "aware" of some things.

You know, I have to compliment your ability to attack me on the most absurd, incongruous thing you could think of. If you really believed I were "uninteresting", then you would not have addressed me. That is plainly another half assed attempt at comebacks. Yeah, I'm "unintelligent, unfunny", and of course "uninteresting". But isn't /everyone/ these things when you're in a disagreement with them? Give me something I haven't heard you say to somebody before.

I was under the impression that I could post when/wherever the fuck I wanted as long as I wasn't breaking any rules. I was also expecting to be confronted sooner or later, but not about THIS. My god, spare me the fucking attitude and get on with your "life". It's not hard to see why Claeric is pissed off constantly.
6  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 September 25, 06:39:39
Oh for fuck's sake, just shut up for a while. You've been wibbling all over the site in the last few hours and you've got nothing of interest to contribute. Just shut your fucking yap.

I've been on and off more frequently than usual, but it's nothing more than wanting to post just a little bit more and become more acquainted with the actual people here. I don't know if you realize, but you're not the one who gets to decide how much I post. What you've said makes little sense, because it isn't an infraction to actually talk to people more on a forum. I actually laughed at that because it has to be the most ridiculous thing I've come across. You must have been here for a few hours as well, because you were so kind to notice. How hypocritical..

Since you're so interested in tracking my every move, maybe you saw that I've been signed up since 2006. My measly 53 posts is nothing in comparison to your 10,093 posts. Maybe you should look at yourself before trying to offend /me/.

Well, if sharing of decrapified files goes against the website rules, then I won't do it again, ever. I guess I don't need a complete justification for why. Just that people shouldn't be lazy is reason enough for me.

Thank you for letting me know.
8  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 September 25, 05:36:42
I wouldn't want to encourage laziness, but sharing is caring.  Cheesy

But I definitely agree that if people have things handed to them, they'll never learn for themselves. Decrapifying is almost effortless.
9  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 September 25, 05:21:18
Pescado doesn't seem like he'd make up a rule against sharing decrapified files for reasons as childish and arbitrary as "so people won't be lazy".

That is exactly why. Plus, I've given that link to somebody on MTS in a pm.. but I think I deleted the file before they got to see it.
10  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 September 25, 05:10:38

Honestly, I have no clue. People just say not to. On a different forum I frequent I've shared stuff with people and for some it works and for others it doesn't. So if anything I think it's just easier to say do it yourself than to try to explain to people that it may or may not work, you might have to do it yourself. IDK.

I feel like it makes the whole idea "more illegal" and "more likely to be caught".. There has to be a reason that Pescado doesn't want people to post decrapified files, other than because lazy people don't deserve them. I'm playing it safe. I deleted the Mediafire file.

Well, the generosity was fun while it lasted.  Smiley
11  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 September 25, 05:02:31
So how many times shall it be said NOT TO SHARE DECRAPPIFIED SIMS3PACKs OVER THE NET?

Is there actually a very good reason for that? Sorry for my idiocy, but could I actually get in trouble for linking people to that?
12  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 September 25, 05:00:25
You're not supposed to share decrapified files. Pescado said not to do it and it's been repeated over and over, yet people still do it. Decrapifying is really, really easy. I did if for the first time tonight and it took like a minute. Way easier than converting to .package files, which is also pretty simple.

I wasn't aware, but I'll take it down in an instant if I get asked to.

Until then, we should let the tards enjoy their easy way out.  Smiley
13  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 September 25, 04:33:44
Well, I'm bored and I feel like being useful. So I'm going to upload a decrapified, working Barnacle Bay for anybody who is hesitant to make it work.

But I have to say, I don't understand the fear. I'd also like to say that you can't expect a nice person like me to hold your hand every time you want to pirate something. With that said, in about ten minutes I'll have a working Mediafire link for you that has a decrapified Barnacle Bay.

I'll feel good when I know it's useful to somebody.  Smiley

Does anybody actually want Barnacle Bay in a package/world file? I would be happy to try doing it, but I wouldn't know if it worked.
15  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: How do i know if awesome mod works? on: 2010 September 25, 01:21:17
You tend to start noticing if AwesomeMod is in your game.. it begins to suck less, for starters.
16  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 September 24, 06:38:10
I actually did have a .cmd file made, but I wasn't using it when I was "decrapifying". For some reason I was under the impression that I didn't need it.
17  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 September 24, 05:59:47
Honestly, it is more likely that I was just doing it wrong to begin with.

I had the newest version of decrapifier installed. It was the one I used with the compressor.
18  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 September 24, 05:26:43
Hm.. if 5.0 is the most recent patch, then I am up to date.

Actually, it's possible that I have not been decrapifying properly. I'll read up on it more and try again. I appreciate the help.

Edit/ This is really marvelous. I've tried another decrapifying method that I've found (and surprise!- it is the right way) and it's now working and the thumbnail is showing up. I recommend the Compressorizer Redux method to anybody who was having the problem I had.
19  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 September 24, 05:18:08
By "icon", do you mean "thumbnail"?

If so, sometimes decrapifying will keep the thumbnail from displaying in the launcher.  If Barnacle Bay shows up on your main menu as an available neighborhood to play, it's installed correctly, regardless of what the launcher might be doing.

I do. But my problem is that I can't get it to install without the thumbnail.. for whatever reason. I guess you don't need me to tell you the launcher is gay, but it is.

I have a feeling this one is going to give me a really hard time. Any suggestions?
20  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2010 September 24, 03:59:02
I'm probably just an idiot, but Barnacle Bay's icon isn't showing up for me in the launcher. I always decrapify before I move it to the downloads folder. Anyway, whenever any item doesn't show up, there is always an error when I download and it says it failed to install, and it says to be sure that the game is up to date. I know an outdated game isn't my problem because it isn't outdated..

Does anybody know what causes this iconlessness? It isn't blank completely, but it does show a box. I'm not sure how to get rid of that, or how to get Barnacle to work in my game. I'm kind of pissed because I read that the Caliente sisters would be in the new neighborhood, so it was probably worth checking out. I'm probably a disgrace when it comes to pirating, but I do have my share of experiences and I have read up about a lot (such as decrapifying) on MATY.
21  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Where to find GOOD custom worlds? on: 2010 September 12, 17:41:42
That makes our tards look like Einstein.

Another choice quote is actually the first reply:

Quote from: BBStard3497
Oh I dont have World Adventures.  If I did I would download it. You should make a version without the WA features.

You get that, CC creator? You should make a version without WA because I demandz it!

No use in making fun of that one.. seeing as how the creator rejected that request. The BBS is full of tards, what do you expect?

I actually do highly recommend Neverglade. It's the only world that I've used/liked so far.
22  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: How To: Choosable Loading Screen. Update: Base Game for Fast Lane download! on: 2010 September 12, 04:11:21
I don't know what you mean by animating, because it's been some months since I've actually had the world adventures screen. I remember not liking that one, either. Probably because of the colors. I'm pretty sure I'll just be using this Base Game replacement screen until I get Late Night. The screen is supposed to look better for that one. But just in case, I hope you continue to update.  Smiley I know MTS stopped liking you, but I've always been a fan of your work.
23  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: How To: Choosable Loading Screen. Update: Base Game for Fast Lane download! on: 2010 September 11, 06:31:34
I wanted you to know how much I appreciate this. Thank you.  Smiley

The new Fast Lane screen is absolutely dreadful.
24  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: TS2 Store Stuff Collections on: 2009 October 31, 19:04:34
This is for the original poster..

Both mediafire links aren't working. It says no files to be found. The boxnet website says the user is out of bandwidth.

Where do I go to find the Sims 2 Store hairs and spooky set?
25  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Do you think this would work? A NEW community lot time idea. on: 2009 August 15, 23:40:32
It's a bit complicated to think about. I just wanted people to voice their opinions on it.
When you talk about 'fixing' the hack.. well, I'm very clueless when it comes to hacking or modding. I was hoping that somebody with higher skills than me could attempt the fix. You're right, Crammyboys hack is beneficial because it gives us something to work off of. I want to really brainstorm the idea though and look at how we could get it to work.

Do you have any ideas?
