Now the previous owners of this property actually renovated the garage sometime in the early 70s, so it's now a rental. Just through the gate here. And that's your front door.


Now I'm aware it isn't very spacious, and I probably should have mentioned in the ad it was a studio, but think of what you'll save on heating! Oh, and the place doesn't have heat. Might wanna get some good blankets.


Now this decor isn't really old you know? I'd like to say its vintage! The real deal, made back in the days when appliances never broke. Solid as steel. You might wanna look at getting that pilot light replaced though. And the sink has a leak somewhere I can't pin down.


Don't worry, the entire apartment has been de-loused and cleaned up proper! Call a priest if you wanna tackle that smell though. I think the last tenant might have had ferrets.

I kinda jumped the gun and started playing with new patch, supplanting AM with some Nraas goodies. My impatience is costing me dearly however. One of the more annoying bugs i'm experiencing is that NPC Mixologists at bars and clubs just go dancing and playing darts, and any attempt at ordering from the bar kinda resets the sim ordering to a neutral spot nearby. Strangely though it does not affect the Mixologist For Hire over the phone.

I have every expansion BUT Supernatural, and I also have High End Loft and Fast Lane. I believe the majority of the content in the bar is just Showtime, Late Night, and Store Items.

So in an effort to bring certain EA neighborhoods into more modern times, I'm working on lots that integrate new expansion content.

This is my first attempt. A Local Watering Hole built into the Red Rendevous hangout in Twinbrook.

Best way to handle memories? Alcohol for me.

In your case, I'm pretty sure you can straight up disable them in the options.

The constantly broken/dirty situation in dorms is annoying, but I had a Sim in the technology track and constantly unclogging toilets or stopping up sinks helped bring his Handiness up. It'd be nice if there was an AM option to disable stuff from breaking in Dorms.

The MATY community is a warzone littered with C4 and landmines, but can be navigated with a little precaution. For those who can read directions, it's rather simple to do, and all the information you need is located in the AwesomeMod forum. To make Awesomemod work, you will need the framework for the mod properly installed, and then Awesomemod itself.

Awesomemod is the creation of J.M. Pescado, Lord Regent of the Municipality of MATY and El Presidente. It comes with many fixes and changes to the way the Sims 3 works, including sim behaviors and story progression. He regularly updates AM out of the white hot burning rage at EA goodness of his heart. Anytime the game updates, AM is updated shortly thereafter, if not immediately. Because of this, you must have the most current and up to date patches installed. (1.50 at time of writing) No exceptions.

If you're not here for AM, or you have AM working and are on the hunt for some content that you would otherwise get through more official sources, the Pudding Factory is the forum to search. And I mean THOROUGHLY search. All the information you could possibly require is there, and seeing as it's quite a lot, I won't get too into it here.

Which by the way, IS in the works. EA already purchased the domain name and there've been confirmations by EA employees.

Anybody have any idea whats borked? Is the infamous Corrupt Save crash fixed yet? Is Supernatural as shit as I feared?

I didn't realize this was actually part of the mod. That is the greatest thing I've ever read.

1.29 onward caused all manner of annoying crashes to desktop caused by CC, Corrupt Saves, DEP, all kinds of crazy crap.

You hand me a cup of diarrhea shit and tell me "You can paint it white and pretend it's a milkshake!" It's still a cup full of shit.

I'm hoping with this thread visible people will see it and not make another of the threads that seems to plague this section of the site. Its more likely this thread will be deleted, but I'm doing this with the best intentions.

I'll make it perfectly clear for those who have not updated their game to 1.33 and are still at 1.29

THE CURRENT VERSION OF AWESOMEMOD DOES NOT AND WILL NOT WORK WITH 1.29

The very nature of AM is that it's constantly updating with different bugfixes and tweaks in order to keep up with EA's patches. Pescado, the generous host he is, does not have the time or energy to make a seperate version of Awesomemod for a redundant and obsolete version of the game. He didn't do it during the Nuke From Orbit that was the CC issues in Pets, he won't cater to your inability to keep up with everyone now.

To continue using Awesomemod, you MUST update to 1.33. Do not ask for an older version of awesomemod that is compatible because nobody here is going to go through the trouble of finding it for you. Do not come here asking for help then telling us you're at 1.29 or you will be shown the door. Assimilate or be trampled beneath.

Weird. I've set up the table in the driveway of a house on a dead end street and gotten a few customers, but I go to the Library in Starlight (which is unusually busy) and I get jack shit.

A few itty bitty additions I'd like to see:

1) An option to prevent Butlers from cooking. I love them to death, but the fill my fridge up with meals that my family doesn't eat.

2) An option to check the Baking Report from the computer.

3) Increased traffic for the bake sale table thing.

Also, this is something someone else would likely have to do, but I'd like to have the lockers from Ambitions with dresser options enabled.
