No, I'm getting nowhere with them. I ended up just buying all the cabinets and counters. The time I wasted wasn't worth the few dollars they cost. But I'm not shelling out for the entire Storybook set just to get cabinets so I figured I'd see if anyone had them in sims3packs. If not, it doesn't really matter, I never really use them. I just like having the complete set of store items.

Does anyone have the Storybook counters and cabinets in Sims3pack form? I'm working on converting everything to packages and those are the only cabinets and counters I'm missing. I tried making the extracted packages into Sims3packs but the textures were messed up in the game.

Have all the folks, who are having trouble with decrapped store goodies, recently downloaded the new 1.32 patch? 119mb of hunter-killer trouble, if my over-indulgent imagination continues. On the surface it looks like a safety net for all those squeaky-clean simmers to port their Showtime sims back an forth between computers, with no unwanted cc tagging along. So then, wouldn't this latest patch have to route through your files determinig exactly what is legit store stuff for the squeaky-clean do-rights to continue enjoying, and what is picaroon-class decrapped booty to be anhialated? Not only preventing it from crossing over computers, but disabling it on your own pc? Is this 1.32 patch safe to download? Should I start converting my hordes of store stuff into package format in a frenzied bid to save it all? Or should I stop using my imagination because I'm not very good with it?

I was having problems with my decrapified sims3packs disappearing after installing showtime, until I blocked all EA and Origin programs from accessing the internet. I installed the patch, but had to block a couple of the programs again because they seemed to have changed the settings again during installation. I have been reluctant to use package files but may have to break down and do it. I guess I would if I didn't have to deal with all these issues.

I must be the only one having problems with the MATY store files not installing. I did a clean install before Showtime came, then added Showtime and my downloads folder for the game. Everything I did not purchase was missing. I installed everything again, still missing. Now I'm in the process of re-decrapifying the untouched sims3packs, and a few are showing up but only a small fraction. Did anyone else do a clean install?

Good evening to you all. This is my first post, so I'll try to be succinct.

I have all expansion packs up to and including Master Suite (updated to 11.0.84.014.017). Most of the .sims3pack downloads I have are from either icantbebothered or jeromycraig. (As an aside, thank you to both as it is nice to have these packs without having to give my credit card number to EA.)

After decrappifying the packs and installing, the items show up in the installed list as well as in the game. I am not noticing any glitches or problems with them during play. The next time I load up the game, the launcher says that the only .sims3pack items installed are the ones I used my free points to purchase or are the free ones given away as bonuses. Even the worlds disappear from the installed list.

I have tried several different attempts to repair this problem including deleting the DCBackup and DCCache folders, followed by re-installing the objects. I even went so far as today completely uninstalling the game, deleting the entire The Sims 3 folder from the Documents folder. Afterwards, I fully re-installed the game and the objects, but still no luck.

I was curious as to whether the update that was done recently where the game tries to sell stuff from the store might be interfering with my installed list. I blocked the EA programs from dialing home with my router as was suggested on the forum, as well as installing the .sims3pack in bunches of no greater than 50. Neither of those worked. Any other ideas?

I use decrapified sims3packs, and I have items missing from the installed list, but they are still present in the game. This has been the case for quite some time, not just since the latest patch.

It's doing the same thing in my game, as well, and I have a clean install of the game right now as I am preparing for Showtime. No cc, no mods, nothing at all.

Does anyone else have the Origin costume set as a .sims3pack? The link provided is out of bandwidth.

Brownlustgirl, is the Arcade Regency Set untouched? All items of this lot are replaced by default objects although they show up ingame.

This happens to all lots you download from here. I just find pictures of the lot as it should be and then go in game and replace the default items.

10  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Create-A-Pet Demo direct download link? on: 2011 September 23, 18:31:54
My store content was gone from the game as well. I just deleted everything in the DCCache and DCBackup folders, reinstalled and it's all back and working fine. But once you go back into create-a-pet, it will be gone again, so I'm just leaving it out while I mess with create-a-pet.

Is the library lot supposed to come with the new objects and spellbook installed when placed in a neighbourhood? Cause mine just has the crappy base game objects.

I spoke too soon. Yes, it should have the new items installed when you place it, but mine also has base game objects in it. The new objects are in the game, just not on the lot. I'm just going to go in and put the new objects back in myself. At least we do have them.

I tried multiple times to get the spellbook I downloaded here to work and each time I installed, my sim would just jump away from it when trying to interact with it. I ended up just buying it from the store and installing it first then the library set and it works fine and all the objects included in the library show up and work fine so far.

Yes, but here it is not working correctly. And I don't use package files so I'm guessing the fix won't work for me.

I use sims3packs, I used the fix, it works. Packages that "fix" store stuff just need to be decrapped if you're using decrapped store stuff as sims3packs.

I don't have my game set up to use package files and don't really want to. I have my game running pretty good right now and I don't want to mess with anything. I may wait awhile to see if someone can fix the sim3pack to work properly. If they can't, I'll just buy it.

Do we know whether it works if purchased from the store and messes up once decrapified? I don't want to waste my money buying it if it comes broken from the store.

Does anyone have the "Lagomorph in Neon" download that comes straight from the Dr. Pepper promotion? The version I have was the one that was posted on the Sims 3 site for free for a short time and the texture that shows up for the item is incorrect. The texture looks like it is from a Christmas stocking. I have downloaded the version posted here and it is the same one. I'm just wondering if anyone has gotten it from the Dr. Pepper site.

This goes back about the birthday gift. I can't find anything on sims3 that asks for your bday. I've got to be completely missing something.

If you click on "create an account" on the sims 3 site, it asks for your birthday when you are signing up for a new account.

I've been searching for the birthday set as well. Had my birthday 9/02 and I didn't receive it. But for all I can remember, I may not have given my real birthday, so one day it may just show up. If it does soon, I post it.

I decrapified Barnacle Bay and installed no problems at all. I can't imagine why some have problems with this, it's too easy.
Not sure if legally purchased store items will install in S3P form without being decrapified or not.

I don't decrapify items I have bought from the store, only the items I get here. Everything installs fine and shows up fine.

not sure what you people are doing, but all of the september items installed and worked the first time for me.
Everything worked fine for me as well. Less than a minute to download any file, decrapified and installed perfectly.

I had tried the dbc file and for some reason it didn't work for me, and I did set my config up right.

Yes, thank you for this idea because I also tried making the dbc file and the items did not show up in game. This worked great and I used the s3pe to combine the files into 1 package file for three categories as stated in another thread. Then I deleted the dcbackup files.
24  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Patch 1.8/2.3 plus Create a World Released on: 2009 December 19, 15:48:28
I can install store-bought content without a problem - as long as I re-download it through the store. I can also install Sims3Pack files from other sources (ATS and TSR) without any problems. They all show up, have the appropriate icon and work as they should.
I get the opposite result: I can't install a sims3pack I downloaded from TSR as a Sims3pack either. Anything which installs into a .dbc appears to fail. Sims3packs containing non-dbc content may install differently, depending on what you are installing.

I also can not install sims3packs, at least some of them. I have not tried to install a lot of different sims3packs, but I had a pattern from TSR and it would not install after the patch along with some store items I got here. One thing that did stay installed after the patch was a furniture set from Holy Simoly, which surprised me. Also, someone mentioned that they thought CAW messed up the launcher, which is not true because though I did download it, I've been afraid to install it as of yet.
25  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Patch 1.8/2.3 plus Create a World Released on: 2009 December 18, 01:23:10
But, someone mentioned that there's a theory that only compressorized things don't show up. That might or might not be true, but could someone actually test that?

In my opinion there might be some truth to this because the only items that showed up in my game prior to messing with the files are the items I purchased from the store itself and patterns made with the TSR tool prior to the tool being made to compress the files. Patterns made with the updated TSR tool and all store items downloaded here would not show up.
